I'm definitely excited for Dangan Ronpa v3 but also next month "The Nonary Games" comes to Steam which is the first 2 Zero Escape games. I played the first but didn't get a chance to get the 2nd so I'm excited (also it's an updated version with bigger graphics and voice acting!)

On top of that Revelation Online hits Early Access OB Monday and I'm suuuper excited for Shardbound to get on Steam Early Access (I know both of these were playable with keys last year but official releases are 2017)

Y'know, in the trilogy I preferred the male partners myself ahaha. Probably cause I just love Garrus and Thane as is. When I played as John Shep I was like "Psh I already know I want Tali to be my partner." lol. I have no idea who I'd even want to choose as of yet. YES I am the same, I want as many squadmates as possible. I enjoyed playing the loyalty missions for them on ME2. And truthfully I'd love to see an Elcor fight xD Or maybe have a Batarian squadmate this time around??

Sadly I do not have a decent enough computer to handle PC games so I don't typically use Steam, aha. My fiance built his computer and also got himself a gaming laptop so he looks into Steam more than I do.

Yea my fiance started playing the Kingdom Hearts 2.8 that was released end of January but he was like "What idk what's going on." So we'll probably wait for 1.5 + 2.5 to release for PS4 next month. And I dunno there are just so many Kingdom Hearts games so I've no idea what's going on in general lol.

I've heard of Persona 5 but don't know much about it. But I'll be the same when Andromeda releases. I can't wait to just use all of my free time after work to play a game again lol. I need a new game because I'm getting burned out of what I have currently.

it depends on what kind of game you want to play. I have a pretty slow laptop that's ~3 years old and was like $175 when I got it (so really low end) and since it was easier to play with my boyfriend on my laptop on the couch/bed I actually played the Dangan Ronpa games on a really bad computer. The Nonary Games also shouldn't have FPS problems (both are part Visual Novel and then mystery/puzzle games so for the most part they don't need a good computer at all). But I've plated pretty much everything on that bad laptop including Tera with 1-5fps and invisible bosses even on lowest settings...I could heal any boss that didn't have a 1 shotting cage or random 1 shot lines I couldn't see. I do have a gaming desktop now though so I don't have that problem as much anymore.

Also on the Andromeda hype train! I didn't have a PS4 yet so I bought one during Black Friday because I knew Andromeda was coming ~

Sonic Mania is coming out sometime in the spring. I've got a preorder down for the special edition. It really looks like it's going to be a GOOD Sonic game. And I'm so excited about Tee Lopes being behind the music for the game. I love his remixes and original Sonic style tracks. <3

And there's a remaster of the Kingdom Hearts coming out for PS4? I miss that game so much! Will have to grab that one. :D

Ahaha I can totally relate since I got my PS4 around the same time, although a little earlier than Black Friday. I've got Andromeda pre-ordered on the Xbone though. I'm so anxious to play it.

I'm so excited for Horizon Zero Dawn. I'm looking forward to picking up my pre-order tomorrow after work. Problem is that both me and my fiance want to play it and since we only have one PS4 we have to share bahaha. We both own our own Xbox Ones so this will be a first for us. And yes, Crash Bandicoot! I only ever got to play the games here and there at a friends house growing up, so I'm excited to actually be able to play through them myself this time.

Ohhh I never heard of a rumor for the re-mastering of Diamond and Pearl. Truthfully I haven't played either of those games but I have other Pokemon games. That would be interesting if it ends up being a thing!

I don't think I'm going to get the Switch, at least upon release. But then again, I never imagined getting the Wii U, but HERE I AM lol. I did buy it when they had a good bundle deal though, a couple years ago. I was going to hold off on Breath of the Wild, but honestly I may just go ahead and buy it for my Wii U. I need some new games to play and that'll hold my interest as I await Andromeda. Plus both my fiance and I really want to play Horizon Zero Dawn when it releases, but we have to share. It'll give him the chance to play that game whenever I'm playing Breath of the Wild.

As for Sonic Mania, I had no idea that that was going to be a thing! The franchise really has been struggling; I loved Sonic Adventure 2 Battle SO MUCH and truly hope they'll remaster it one time. Mine on Gamecube is messed up. It won't save the Chao garden and it makes me sad :c

As for Kingdom Hearts--they're releasing a 1.5 + 2.5 Remix the end of next month. I've read it is 6 games total but truthfully I forget which 6 it includes. Since I haven't gotten the chance to play the Kingdom Hearts before, I'm not exactly sure which game is what. The Square Enix store states the 6 titles but tbh idk what the very first game is called and if it is included or not?? I'm so clueless lol.

Yes! I think it's more of an "official fan game". From what I've heard, Sonic Mania was created by people who really love the series, and the game has a very Genesis era feel to it. I hope it's as amazing as it looks!

And there's another Sonic title coming later in the year. No final name, as yet, but it looks like it's going to be a sequel to Generations. Classic Sonic is coming back, and it looks like there's going to be a third Sonic as well. Maybe Boom era? Ugh... I just didn't bother with Boom. Tried the demos. Not impressed. D:

Yesss that's the one! I only recently found out about it. I've only played the first game and KH2. I know a bit about the others, but I've never played them. It'll be great to relive the first two, and have the chance to try the others!

To be fair, I don't think I've purchased a console at release before, lol. I got my Xbox One the summer after it released, my Wii U October 2015 and the PS4 this past October. Buying a new console is an expensive investment, man. It's hard to drop $300-ish before even purchasing a game for it lol.

I don't do it very often. The Wii U was out for a while before I got one. Same for the Wii, and I got that one used. The only consoles I've ever preordered are the Switch, the original 3Ds, and the New 3DS (Ambassador Edition). I've gotta be REALLY interested in it, and see something I want in the launch title line up. And have the money for it, of course. Yeah, that's the biggest problem. ^^;

Can't speak for the rest of the games, but 1 and 2 were great. IIRC, there was a 1.5 and 2,5 before. I never played those ones, so it's exciting to see there's a remaster. It'll be kind of like playing a new game for me too. ^-^

I think the console I purchased closest to launch was the Wii. Omg that console was nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find at launch lol everyone wanted one. I just googled it and saw it released November 2006, yeesh I was like 12-13 years old lol. I remember finding it a month after release, two days after Christmas and I begged my mom to get it and pay her back with allowance since I had been saving it up for this exact thing. Lol. We got the first Wii that they stocked and by the time we paid for it and turned around, the line at electronics was waaaay backed up, everyone with a Wii in-hand and they had no more left on the shelves aha. Now that you've mentioned it, I don't think I've ever pre-ordered a console ahaha I'm surprised. I always had to convince myself to just do it. With the Wii U, I was thinking about buying it like 6-8 months before I actually did. Once I got a list of like 8 games I wanted for that system I was sold haha.

I'm excited to try out the Kingdom Hearts games in general lol. Though 1.5 + 2.5 releases the same time as Andromeda soooo truthfully it might be a few months before I actually play it. Growing up I've heard friends talk about Kingdom Hearts and I always felt left out since I didn't own a PlayStation aha.

Oh wow. I didn't get a Wii until quite a bit after release, and that wasn't even new. I'd heard it sold out quick early on, but that is nuts!

Mass Effect Andromeda for sure. I love the entire series and can't wait until it comes out. Horizon Zero Dawn looks stunning but my money is stretched thin so I;m saving my dough for Mass Effect Andromeda.

The hype for the Wii was crazy ahaha from what I remember anyway. My cousin had gotten it days after release and I was so jealous and upset lol. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the employee stocking the shelves with the console. I immediately ran to my mom and forced her to the electronics aisle since she was the source of money at the time bahaha. Truthfully I can't remember how chaotic it was with the One and PS4. Same will go with the Switch tomorrow and for the next few months :O

I had heard a review for Horizon Zero Dawn that it is more aesthetically and visually pleasing to the eye compared to the gaming content you get from it. My fiance just began playing the game yesterday (since I'm SO KIND and am allowing him the first major playthrough) and gosh is it beautiful. So far it looks like fun but he probably barely put a dent into the game. Played for a couple hours.

But yea if I have to choose between the two, I would say (totally opinion) that you made the right choice to save for Andromeda haha. The trilogy has been fantastic and I'm curious to see how it'll differentiate from the games we are used to. Though I think I read an article that they're removing the paragon and renegade options? Idk how I feel about it. It's kind of disappointing initially, but maybe my opinion will change once I play the game and realize the removal actually makes sense. I think I read it'll be based on 'agreeing and disagreeing.' Idk I'm just curious and want to play the dang game lol. I'm also pumped for the multiplayer. I enjoyed it a lot on ME3 and miss playing it.

Seems like the Switch has been causing chaos with online orders! A lot of us who preordered from GAME were having to chase things up with them to make sure stuff was actually going to be shipped in time because so many people were still waiting for shipping confirmation late in the day. O.O

Anyway, with any luck I WILL see mine tomorrow. Probably not my copy of BotW, or the case I ordered, since those are being delivered with a different service. But the console is supposed to be 1 day delivery through a courier, so hopefully...

I'm also excited because the Switch version of VOEZ is coming out on launch day in Europe. So if the console shows up, but BotW is late, I should still have that to play! <3

That's such a bummer that BotW may not arrive the same day as the Switch. I've heard mixed things--is it true that the Switch doesn't come with a game bundled? If it is, I don't really get why they made it that way. A bundle with the Switch and BotW would've been killer, but then again, it is the release. It's not like it's been out for a while. BUT STILL, WHY NOT.

That's something I'd never considered. I haven't heard anything about a game being bundled with it, and I think there would have been talk about it if there was. I don't think the Wii U had anything bundled with it either. I mean, there were bundles with a game (I got the Wind Waker bundle when I finally got a Wii U), but nothing like the Wii coming with Wii Sports.

Yeah, there'll be download games available, so that's something. Sucks for people who don't have the spare cash after getting the console though! X_X
