- Yeah, I should give her desperation, but I like flier formation too. I'll probably fodder the second one off for att/spd bond though. Second pull was neutral, stands about on the same ground as -def +res. I think I'll keep the res for mage bait.

- pretty much all dancers suffer that fate on arena teams. I switched up my team for wind season because my Nowi is wind boosted and I have both Gunnthra and LLyn, with Amelia thrown on as bonus unit, getting scores over 700 now, but having a tougher time getting deathless. Too much green on this team, and the reds I encounter seem to all be falchions so Nowi can't counter them as well.

Too bad I'm not as invested in Mathilda as you, I summoned 5 of her trying to get Ninian. (they were all 3 star though, I sent them all home)

- I summoned Ishtar OTL. I guess I could use her in the arena this week, but I don't think she's good enough to replace Michaiah. I got Marth on the TT banner... 3 star Marth OTL.

Yeah, it's a lot easier to just throw in units and trial and error until something works. I got the Amelia & Tana BHB quests with both Anna and Alphonse on the team at once (unfortunatley Anna couldn't kill tana, I had to go to the arena assault for that, Brave Lyn had to take her out instead.) But I probably would have had to wait for a guide if I was using 15 stamina each time I lost.

I'M JEALOUS OF YOUR MATHILDA LUCK. I figure now the game is just out to get me and I'll probably never get my 10th one :V

I'm working on rebuilding my poor Cordelia (who was the second 5 star I ever pulled... she's a hot mess) and I'm debating between just keeping her Brave Lance so she can be a quad-hitter or going with a Firesweep build. I generally don't like the Firesweep weapons just because not being able to retaliate annoys me, but I know the entire point of this is she'll be so fast and double on everything that it won't matter. Anyone have any personal experience going either way?

(she's +spd/-hp if it helps. I'm 100% rebuilding her - this is a brand new Cordelia and I'll merge my original into her, so I'm starting fresh!)

- I'm partial to Thomas' Firesweep + L&D/swiftsparrow + Hit and Run +Galeforce and Heavy Blade Seal set up. I have a +spd Cordellia waiting to be upgraded to 5* for it. She already has everything except the galeforce ready to go. If I ever get around to actually working on her, I might eat Kaze to give her att smoke as a C skill, but I've had her forever and she's still 4 star, so we'll see.

Slowly working my way through Chain Challenges. Now that SP isn't halved after you beat it the first time, I can finally finish all the levels. I was putting it off before for SP grinding.

I have a lot of units who still need a ton more SP.

I run Firesweep Lance+, reposition, draconic aura, DB3, hit and run and goad fliers on my Cordelia. She works very well as a FSweep unit and there is not a lot she can’t kill with that build, especially if you have her on a team where she can be repositioned out of harms way.

Occasionally I swap out her special with moonbow or galeforce, and at the moment I’ve got wings of mercy on her to try and beat Ursula.

Finally beat Robin with all fliers last night! It took a lot of finagling, in the end I had to teach S!Camilla seal attack so that Elincia would survive, but I did it with like... 2 minutes until today's GHB units took over. OTL. Slowly trying to build up more orbs again to try for Ninian some more. :(

Yeah I run the build mentioned (she was my first 5*, totally neutral, and I too merged her into a +Spd) with Life and Death and I love her. One of my best units, easily, and my fliers are my first port of all for all challenging content. With a Hone Fliers she hits 61 attack which procs Heavy Blade almost constantly. With a dance she can get three attacks in per turn using Galeforce, which gives her the flexibility to break down tough units (Firesweep is a blessing for armors) and retreat out of there with Reposition. I play my fliers quite offensively and she fits perfectly. I'd make her a merge project if she made use of her defensive stats, but she rarely gets hit.

Also beat Shadow Dragon earlier, was quite fun in the end if unspectacular. The maps at the end weren't that stressful though the doors on Endgame kinda drove me nuts, I lost Tiki and Ogma at the final hurdle. Palla ended up scoring a crit on the counter attack and OHKOed the Shadow Dragon with Gradivus which was a little underwhelming haha.

Thanks all for the build advice! I'm definitely going to go Firesweep with her after this. Debating between Life and Death and Swift Sparrow for her A -- I have some extra Swift Sparrow fodder right now, but I know the idea is for her not to get hit so the stat drop she takes from Life and Death in theory shouldn't be a big deal. I think I'll do the rest of her build first and then think between the two for a little longer!

Yeah I was gonna go Swift Sparrow but no fodder, so ended up promoting a Hana for her instead. Her bulk isn't bad by any stretch of the imagination - her speed will prevent doubles so she can tank in a pinch - so Swift Sparrow is probs a little better but they're much of a muchness.

And in other good news, I just pulled about 40 orbs on bridal rerun and ended up with a 4* Sothe, my first Rebecca (I know, right?) and a second Bridal Lyn! She was -Spd so easy fodder for my Elise, finally! She's running Wrathful Dazzling Gravity which has been in my sights since like... five months ago when I rolled her on a legendary banner haha.

and yesterday I got pitty broken by normal Lyn >_<, I didn't have that unit so it's better then Fel Robin but not a good sign in me getting one of this year's brides ugh

Also I went kinda ham on the Tempest Trials yesterday as I was on an 10 hour train alone (my bf has had to fly back to Oz for a funeral) and I'm close to the Flier Formation seal already hah. I played with music on for a change and had forgotten how pretty the Dark Traveler track that plays over the snowy Radiant Dawn maps is. Radiant Dawn had great music on the whole, a big step up from Path of Radiance.

I also started playing New Mystery on Hard and the prologue was... hard. I also picked Fighter MU and he had 3 def which didn't help haha, he died... a lot. I went through the first three chapters today, though, which were much much smoother. I've read that that doesn't last though!

Hmm. I have no self control, decided I wanted Bride Ninian something bad (flier mage...) and went all in. Dozens of orbs and a 5.25% pity rate later I was successful but idk. I think I need to stop spending money and concentrate on the units I do have.

Speaking of, I have merged my Oboro to 40+9, and once I get 22000 feathers she'll be +10, and my very first +10. I keep flip flopping on how I want to build her, at the moment she's fury+renewal+threaten attack with Ignis and a Slaying Lance+. I have a spare B!Ike and a spare Shiro so I'm tempted to give her Steady Breath/Stance and then promote a Subaki to give her Quick Riposte.

The scene at the start of the Tempest Trials was very interesting... sounds like big sis Laegjorn isn't taking any of Loki's crap. Kind of wonder what is going to happen at the end.

- we can commiserate together. I'm down to 4 orbs, a 4.75% pity rate and all I've gotten is two off banner 5*s. (I've spent about 200 orbs on this banner)

- You just going through the old games in order? New Mystery is one of the ones I haven't played. I've heard its not that good.

- Congrats on your Bridal Ninian. She has decided she hates me. Good thing I've still got almost a whole month to try and convince her to join me.

I also managed to pull a Lucina while Ninian hunting and I didn't have her so silver linings and all that... I hope your off-banner pulls got you some good fodder at least?

Kinda? I have my DS (and 3DS, but complete all those) with me so Shadow Dragon and New Mystery were natural picks. I've actually never played the GBA titles so they're next; I did start FE7 on my work computer but wasn't really getting the full experience so decided I needed to sit down with it properly one day to fully appreciate it. The plan is to eventually go 7, 6 and then 8. Then I need to work back to 4 and 5 and THEN just have 1, 2 and 3 left but don't think I care when they've all been remade. I've actually heard New Mystery is decent and a big step up from Shadow Dragon so I'm looking forward to getting further.

Aw, congrats on pulling Bridal Ninian! She's a fun unit, I'm enjoying using her in the TT. I totally know what you mean about the pangs of regret, I felt the same way after dipping low for Spring Kagero even though I really wanted her. Summoning can be such a bummer.

I ended up going with Swift Sparrow, no regrets! I'm glad my favorite FE character will finally have a good heroes build.

Congrats on Ninian! Having a flying dancer is so nice, so I'm glad I decided to pull for her after all - but I know what you mean. The number of 5 star level 40 units I have with absolutely no moves or builds what so ever is kind of stressful and sad.

[Edit] Pulled from the bridal rerun with my 5 remaining orbs and I finally got my Charlotte! I haven't even checked her stats yet but I'm so happy. It doesn't stop me from wanting a regular axe unit Charlotte added to the game but I'm so excited.

Summoning on the bride rerun banner so far got me a Kana, I don't mind being pitybroken since I was only 35 orbs in, so I didn't color snipe yet and I wanted her anyway, she's a cutie! I feel super spoiled by the game recently but I know luck can turn around anytime! Hopefully you get your wanted pulls soon and c: I want to try again (I'd love to get a Bridelia), but I'll wait until the Legendary banner is announced before since the banner will remain for a few weeks.

I felt the exact same way when I had to spend 200+ orbs to get Bow!Hinoka. She's helped so much so far that I don't regret it anymore now! At least a limited flying mage dancer is unique for now and it will probably stay that way for a while.

Did you build your Bride Ninian yet? I think I saw you wanted to do a Blarblade build and I was wondering how it worked if you did it. Mine is +Atk/-Hp. I'm using her in the current TT too but I didn't do any serious SI on her yet. A flying dancer is so useful!

Ugh, my stupidly luck friend pulled Bridelia free on the new banner, and he only spent 80 orbs on the other bridal banner and got all three brides as well as 2 other 5s units. I'm so mad right now.

Any of the new brides would make me happy as they are seasonal units so I'm not too picky. >_< I wished I did get one though as I wanted to save my TT orbs for the legendary banner but that's not likely to happen.

Granted my luck's usually odd with Legendarys. I normaly end up with one 5* spare and one new 5* by the end of it, with some exceptions. Rummor has it the xmas units will return so I wouldn't mind one to make up blowing over 30$ last year for a Santa anything ( considering how my christmas was last year irl, it didn't help my mood at all) as well as the new Hero or any other "consilation" unit I lack.
