i did the armor emblem quest for takumi's ghb all by myself! took a lot of tries but team three (zelgius, eliwood, grima, and henry) did the job :) i hate managing armor movement but i love using grima and henry...... i'm hoping i can get a more neutral natured henry in october and merge him, i think i might use the free takumi to give him close counter too.

but god, that ghb... i really don't know how you'd do that one without armor march or boots, it does not sound like my idea of a good time p;

Haha funnily enough I did do it without either. Took three attempts to figure out how I could make it work because I was too lazy to switch skills and seals - not sure why I didn't use Armour March because I do have both Amelia and LA!Lyn. I used W!Tharja, Zelgius, Effie and Grima - Tharja focused on the left while Grima was perfect for taking on the right (he has DD3 and I ended up having to give him the seal, too). Warp Powder + Swap was also kinda handy.

I just finished spending my lances and am ranked second by about 1k points so probs gonna be safe. My teams have done decently but I'm kinda over team play after seeing how little most people try haha. :x so just focusing on boosting my own rank.

oh man, congrats! i ended up sticking to the upper left corner and baiting units with grima and henry. i think if henry didn't have armor march, pivot + repo shenanigans would've worked, but i just don't have that kind of patience ;>>

and yeah, i'm basically ignoring the team part of grand conquests... i've got my fingers crossed i at least get the top 10 rank feathers since the area count feathers are a bust p:

Honestly I love all the art of the new units. ;o; Very pretty. Elincia is stunning and I really like Ryoma's art, too. Maybe I'll just roll for one of 'em? Not like I need new dancers but y'know. I do have almost 700 orbs saved at the moment (CYL2 fund) so maybe I can splurge a little.

Ended up in second place for the conquests, whoo. Team Anna did okay in the end, too, most of my matches this time around were pretty balanced. And now I have like 230k feathers, whoops.

Side note, anyone here promoted an Azama (or similar)? I don't have a Pain+ healer and think he could be fun for both GCs and general training. I only have one in my barracks who's +Def -Spd; not his best IVs, but fair, and I'd probs just lump him with Fortress Def so a cheap build.

Oh my gosh guys, I just watched the vid for the new banner, I'm laughing my ass off! This banner is sooooo utterly ridonculous. I can't even.... I can't. I can't formulate words right now. I mean, I like the weapon skills, the build in hardy bearing, and they all have SE effects too (and they are + which means inheritable?), but why are they all dancers? Why are there blue and green daggers? And THIS! Just this:

i can't get over xander's dancing. i hope ryoma gets the same or a similar animation omg... and someone pointed out that his mask might be an accessory too!! i love it,,,,,, though if they keep putting the colored bows/colored daggers on units outside of the general pool, i will pout a bit. just a bit.

i'm just not crazy about chiko's faces... the way they render fabric is so good though, and her bird is so cute!! i think i want one of the boys, but i'm not sure which one yet. & i thought i had a pain+ healer but both my girls use gravity+ p; i'd be interested to see if you like azama, if you end up building him. my understanding is he runs similarly to jaffar with big chip damage??

it's festival season in japan(?) so they've finally done the obvious yukata banner 8) all dancers because this time last year was the performing arts banner? idk, i don't really care how they justify it when the units are fun! ... though just the daggers are inheritable, micaiah's tome is a prf. can't have a banner without a prf, i guess :p

Honestly Michaiah's eyes are definitely noticeable in Radiant Dawn, so I understand why they've went this route, but she's tending into uncanny territory. Also her smile seems a little forced in her default art. Elincia on the other hand... whew. Her art matches her original interpretations so much better, she's the big winner here. And dragon effectiveness! She is such a perfect answer to Vantage + QR Nowis that I'm pretty hyped for her too.

Yeah I have Gravity on Elise and Candlelight on Lyn, who are my top two, with Panic on Maria and Priscilla who occasionally pick up the mantle for training n stuff; I've given them Dazzling refines to use up the unfortunate stack of stones I've acquired. Shrug, might just do it while we have double EXP considering merge projects are at a standstill.

Oh my. Looks like IS decided to bring out the dancing lobster. I'm sold! Can't turn down a Ryoma seasonal, especially one that looks as beautiful as this. Elincia looks pretty elegant too, and its nice to see that Tomoyo drew her this time. Their work is usually pretty great.

To save for CYL or to get my dancing lobster lord. That is a question that plagues my very psyche..

I... I love all of the units and heir designs and do want to go Ryoma hunting, and Xander hunting and probably Elincia and Micaiah hunting too. However, I have 33 orbs to my name because I wanted L!Lucina for archer emblem and it ended badly and I promised myself I would not spend any more money on the game after checking my finances :’(

I’m saving for now because I think the Banner runs until September so I’m just going to sit here convincing myself I don’t need Xander or Ryoma in a Yukata and trying to decide on my next merge project.

So how have y'all refined the Askr trio now the update has rolled out? I went Def for Alfonse, Bond for Sharena and Spd for Anna. I was most on the fence about Anna - either her special, Res or Spd, but went for Spd as I'll probs run her with Flashing Blade as she hits 44 speed with Fury and it should give her some killing power, which is going to be important with the arena changes.

Also loving the skill sets feature!

Oh my. Those stats for Festival in Hoshido Xander are rather polarizing. He would make for a great physical tank, despite low BST, and being colorless means that he has no advantages/disadvantages. His kit is also pretty good for what he needs to do in case he's caught out of line, so no need to change much. Definitely a good choice for a dancer if the typical fast, but frail dancer isn't for you.

Definitely wanna get Hoshido Ryoma and Xander. Maybe Hoshido Elincia if I'm feeling it.

datamine says frederick is an arena bonus unit next season! i can't wait to see my guy with arena bonus stats ;o; maybe it'll patch up his res lol [sup]also the datamine shows that ryoma didn't get the awa odori/bon odori dance animation like xander did... he's not as cute........[/sup]

micaiah's eyes are... a lot lmao, but in my case i really think i just have a problem with chiko's faces ;>> i'm not a huge fan of hinoka or f!grima's faces either, and chiko did those too. but that's just me! meanwhile, even elincia is super tempting even with such low base attack... i don't know, i think i'm going to do a full roll when it comes out and then wait to decide further, since we're getting heaps of free units and (like always) i have barely any space lol.

alfonse is the only one of the three i have built -- i went with an attack refine for now, but i'll probably do a defense refine later just to give him both options. i'm nowhere near the tier 20/21 boundary right now so i figure i'll wait it out and see how the arena changes work in practice.

ugh, legendary banners are the worst. we're getting a lot of orbs this month so hopefully that helps you rebuild your stockpile! i have my fingers crossed for your free roll ;o; but yeah, it runs through september 9, so we have a while to think about it.

Yeah I don't love Wings Hinoka's face either, I think I prefer the softer take of HACCAN's original. The eyes just look a little... soulless.

I did a full pull and then kept getting greens - yay! - but ended up being broken by a Brave Ike (my third spare wow) and a second Delthea. B!Ike will become fodder, eventually, when I can decide who wants Steady Breath, while Delthea is probs gonna get merged as she doesn't really have any great fodder. Drive Atk 2 is cool and all but not worth saccing a 5* exclusive. I'll just merge her into my better IVed original I spose. I did also pull a Fae to +9 her and a Shanna for Desperation, finally! Not sure whether to feed her to Kagero or Ephraim, hm.

Well now. I got mostly 3* on my first summoning circle. Just great. We have almost a month, at least...

The random number gods were not kind T_T I did however get a Sothe, Legault and a Nanna so silver linings and all that...

I got a +Def/-Spd Xander (probably the best IVs since his speed is a nice dump stat, and he reaches 37 Def with +Def. I like his base kit so I just need to give him Bonfire. I just had to turn support animations on too because to see him dancing is so funny! XD Now I have 113 orbs left and I kinda want to try for another one but I can't forget that CYL is probably coming next too. Since the banner will be around for a month I'll just wait and see.

I think I'll just summon all colours until I get ONE unit from this banner, I like them all, there's one of evry colour, and an extra dance is always good. I do want to save for CYL though, cus I will need both Hector and Ephraim regardless of how good or bad they turn out.

I have been having OK luck with the daily banners. I've needed to expand my barracks a few times cus I've gotten a bunch of new units.

Time to get to those Takumi quests before they disappear!

On vacation currently but managed to get dancer Ryoma yesterday and when trying to roll on the power boost banner today as I lack Karl and Nephenee, I was greeted with a surprise Mia. I'll check on their IVs when I get home, will try to avoid leveling those to in the meen time

My free pulls have been kinda junky (so many Merrics and Jagens hm) but I did pull the full circle on today's banner - had three blues and two greens. My final green was... a Fae! Which means my final copy needed to +10 her! She's my first +10 so I'm pretty happy right now. Sadly didn't get a +Def -HP, which was my pref, but with summoner support etc +Spd ends up pretty decent so I'll stick with her for now.

My TT team is working surprisingly well on auto - using Alfonse, Sharena, Joshua and B!Lyn for heal/ranged support. They've only missed clearing the final round a couple of times. Sharena is a tank with her refine, Fury and Close Def. Joshua is also pretty nice with the buffs, tanky yet fast. I'm almost finished with Sacred Stones and have been using him so he was a natural inclusion. If any of em max on HM I always have M!Marth to fall back on, too.
