"It depends, some times its worse than others but at least two-three days. I'm so worn out sometimes I can't even leave me bed. Its 'ard for an adult but Paul reckons its worse for an adolescent since we're still growing."

Sauvage quickly drew her hands back after watching Fade's hair go bone white then red - noticeably starting from where she touched him, something she couldn't help but smile at - then ashy blonde. She recognized the ashy blonde as the color Fade most often had his hair take on. She was a bit ashamed, having made him feel as though he needed to hide his chameleon hair. Obviously, she embarrassed the boy; she just hoped that she had not upset. "No, I am zee one 'oo eez sorry. I should not 'ave..." She cupped her hands in her lap like two small, wounded animals. "Eet was rude of me not to ask first. I 'ave zees problem a lot of zee time where I do not sink before I act and I just end up 'urting ozer people." She became hyper-aware of what she was saying, hearing her own words get distorted in a thick French accent. She was getting frustrated at herself and the situation, but after the workshop had already experienced several "walk-outs," she did not want to be another drama queen to cause a scene.

Sauvage bit her lip and looked around her to see how many people had witnessed the socially horrendous moment ( ). The only students who seemed visibly aware of the awkward hair encounter were Magnus - of course - and Drew, who was looking sympathetically at Fade. Great, it really was all her fault. Ugh...how could she fix this?

"Um," she said as she turned back toward Fade (). "Per'aps eef you touch my 'air..." She twisted her hair into a ponytail and held it out to Fade like a sad pink flag of surrender. "Zen maybe we would be even?" As soon as she said it, she regretted it. "Okay," she mumbled. "Zat was stoopeed."

She dropped her hair, letting it cascade back around her shoulders and causing the smell of her mango shampoo to float around her. How was offering to let him touch her hair a solution? And it wouldn't even count because she was still giving him permission - which she did not have! Lost in her thoughts and unable to think up a solution to this social disaster, Sauvage sat lamely in her chair, eyes glued to her knees, fighting the urge not to get up and leave.

Magnus saw uncomfortable the girl was and wondered how to help her... Should he grab Drew and start mucking with his hair to make the girl feel better? Or perhaps think of something stupidly embarrassing just to get a laugh? What could he do to help? He'd have to think on it and see what Fade did...

Nodding, Drew said, "That makes sense. There's plenty of times I don't want to get out of bed, and I'm not a werewolf. Dad teases me that I used to hate naps and now I don't mind them at all. Of course, part of it might be that I do tend to stay up late at night...reading, taking a walk, looking at stars." He smiled sheepishly. "Can't help it. I've always liked the night."

"Yeah I never liked naps either. But now I get plenty o' them, especially in divination..." He was relaxing again, thankful he hadn't freaked the new friend out. "Same 'ere, loving the night. That's kinda 'ow I came ta be a werewolf. Shimmed down the drain pipe with a book and me torched to go to me alcove in the woods. Bloke was stalking me apparently and shifted in the woods waiting for me to come."

Drew smiled at the image of Magnus sneaking out at night, having done the same thing before too. Then he heard the rest of the comment and shook his head. "He was stalking you?" he asked. "Now that's just weird as heck, Mags. Why would he be after a kid?" Drew was growing more and more comfortable with Magnus and unconsciously called the younger boy the nickname he'd heard used earlier.

“Didn’t hurt.” A smile cracked the corner of Fade’s mouth, her reaction to his was pretty cute. Really he just needed to chill out. “You can touch it again if you want, just surprised me is all.” A full smile crossed his face when she offered her own hair as compensation. “Appreciate the offer though.” He almost said something about making a paintbrush out of it, he had used his own in the past, but he decided maybe that was maybe a little bit too creepy. When Drew () offered to let him sketch the clasp he graciously nodded. “Yeah that would be awesome, thanks man!” Looking back he added. “Really no harm done.” He didn’t want her to feel bad because he was so jumpy. He thought it would get easier to act normal, the longer he was around her, but for some reason it was tricky. Glancing at Magnus () he shrugged wishing the other boy could give him telepathic advice.

Her heart skipped in her chest when a full smile stretched across Fade's mouth. She smiled back at him. Bubbles were forming inside her chest and she giggled dorkishly. Then, realizing his smile was because of her stupid offer to give him her hair, she curled in on herself a bit, turning slightly away from Fade and towards Magnus (). Maybe he was making of her? She peered at Fade over her shoulder. No, she didn't think Fade would do that...but she just didn't know how to respond to him after that...that...UGH. What was that??

"Why? To kill me 'o course. Bloke apparently enjoyed it. Liked what the werewolf did, so took to stalking victims that wouldn't be missed. Paul said that since I were an orphan and liked to sneak out--I looked like easy prey. They couldn't prove anything though they suspected 'im. So Paul was followin the guy that full moon. And right before dusk 'e went into the woods, right near the orphanage. The wizard community were outraged, cos 'e went after a kid, and in the muggle world no less. Paul saved me, shot a spell, grabbed and apperated right to St. Mungos."

Fade seemed more relaxed then so that was good. Maybe something to make Fade and Sauvage laugh? "'Ey, you lot wanna see a spell I learnt? It makes your clothing look like something else!" He waved his wand and Magnus' clothing swapped to a dress, pearls and high heals. It only lasted for a two minutes and then went back to his normal clothing--but he totally curtsied for them. Outfit Not Found The boy was totally not above making himself a scene.

Caught up in her own thoughts, Sauvage missed it when Magnus said something. She turned to ask him to repeat it when she got a full view of him standing in a frilly pink dress, heels, pearls, and all. Her eyes bulged from her head and for a moment, she was speechless. But then the laughter came rolling out of her. Tears fell from her eyes and she grabbed at her ribs to somehow stop the cramps. She even snorted once or twice before losing her balance in her chair and sliding to the floor - where she got a whole new angle of Magnus in his dress. Which only made her laugh harder.

Looking down at Sauvage he fluffed his hair in mock indignation he said in a fake Brogue accent, "Good thing I ain't Scottish, or ye'd be seein' a lot more than me underpants lassy."

"I'll get it from my room and let you borrow it later then," Drew said to Fade and smiled at the other boy before turning his attention back to Magnus. He was horrified to think about what his friend had gone through. "I'm glad Paul was there," he said, realizing that sounded really lame but unsure how to convey his thoughts without seeming sappy and a bit weird himself.

He was saved from any further serious thoughts when Magnus asked the question and before anyone could answer had changed into...a dress??! And a pink one at that! Drew snickered and then as the younger boy dropped a curtsy, Drew lost it and laughed freely. It took a moment or two to regain his breath but when he did, Drew gave a shaky and not as loud as usual whistle and then immediately started laughing again. "Th-that gives all new meaning to...w-wolf whistle!" he gasped out through his laughter.

Magnus () was the best friend anyone could ever ask for. Fade was glad for a distraction from his own terrible not knowing what to say or how to act. “That’s a beautiful color on you Mags.” He commented. Too bad he dropped his pencil, not that he wouldn’t be sketching this later from memory to send to Magnus over break. When fell out of her chair he jumped up, but realizing she was OK let out an audible sigh and sat back down chuckling to himself. Drew's () comment had him about in tears.

"Nooooooo" she whined in between laughing fits. Now she was covering her eyes, hoping that would rid the mental image that Magnus () had now seared into her brain. The bubbling laughter continued to break through her lips, but they were a little more spaced out now. Allowing for her to catch her breath. She snorted as Drew's () wolf whistle comment and cradled her ribs, now internally bruised and sore from laughing so thoroughly. She continued to sit on the floor; it was cold and anchoring in a good way. Instead of moving to get up, she chose to simply rest the back of her head on the seat of her chair and remain on the ground a little while longer, looking up at the laughing faces surrounding her. "I know I'm pretty," the boy said with a laugh. "The little girls at the orphanage always 'ad me dress up. I was the only boy who let 'em." He was completely unembarrassed. And laughed with Drew's comment. "That's a great one. We'll 'ave to use it again." The tension was gone and everyone seemed far more relaxed so, mission was accomplished.

Still laughing, though not quite as hard, Drew looked at Sauvage and teased in a sing song voice, using his own rendition of the old children's chant, "We're near London, you've been in France, and now you've seen Magnus' underpants!" Hazel eyes dancing with mischief and laughter, Drew grinned at Magnus. "You need a bow in your hair before you can be seen at a real party though."

Sauvage let out an exaggerated groan and mumbled, "Oh, don't remind me!" She scrubbed at her eyes with the backs of her hands as the image came wading back to the surface of her mind

"Well at least me boxers were clean." He snickered. "Actually its long enough I could probly braid me 'air and put it in pigtails."

He shook his head still smiling. "Think I could pass for a girl? Get into some trouble before I get caught" He asked Sauvage.

Sauvage pursed her lips, trying to look super serious. "There eez more to being a girl than just putting on a dress." She raised one eyebrow, challenging him.

"And that is?" he asked with a raised brow.
