Eirik watched the white stoat run about and make itself at home on Magnus's shoulder. He chuckled, catching any drinks before they spilled if they were in danger of doing so.
He looked over at the girl who had been staring, who looked like she was mortified. "No harm done, it's cute, " he said to her.
He got out of Sauvages way as she moved to help with the drinks as well.
Then he looked back at the cute stoat. "I think it likes you, Magnus, " he said.

Viv stood and walked slowly over to Magnus, careful not to invade his personal space in any fashion. "Stavia, you are being impertinent. What if you had scared the poor boy? Not everyone enjoys being climbed on like playground equipment, especially by strange animals," she lectured her dearest friend in a stern but loving tone. She looked at Magnus. "I do apologize, my dear, and thank you for being so kind to my Stavia, who is cheeky and full of mischief."
He nodded. "Yeah we gottcha a drink. Its okay, little tyke just wanted ta visit. Don't worry 'e's happy now, me thinks." Trying to reassure her. Magnus giggled, "I think 'e does." Then Vivian was coming to claim her stoat. "No worries, 'e didn't mean anything by it. Side's I'm cheeky and full o' mischief so probly saw a kidred spirit." He smiled brightly.
Viv held out her arm, and after one final nuzzle of Magnus' cheek, Stavia leapt from his shoulder to Viv's embrace. Cuddling her familiar more protectively than she realized, Viv gave a hint of a genuine smile at the werewolf and replied, "yes, perhaps you are." She turned and went to the snack table to get Stavia another treat and to compose herself again.
Sauvage smiled and took one of the drinks from Magnus's hands. There was a noticeable difference from his attitude - almost a complete 180. She tried not to question it though and instead just nodded in response to Magnus's reassurance of the situation. Today's workshop has been seriously fraying her emotions. Also...something seemed...different about that girl with the stoat.

Eirik watched warily as the lady came up to get her stoat. Magnus was, of course, handling things very well.
Eirik looked over at Sauvage, and saw that she had the same type of look he did towards the lady with the stoat. He made eye contact with Sauvage, and gave a small smile and a nod.

He looked a little sad when the stoat returned to his owner and gave a little head bow to Vivian. Then the girl was gone. He looked at Eirik and Sauvage, wondering if that seemed odd to them. Still he smiled. "You alright?" He asked Savuage.
Sauvage blinked the realized Magnus had asked him a question. She'd gotten a little lost in her own thoughts and had barely recognized that Eirik had nodded her way as well. "Oh, yes." She said, unsure of what else to say. She couldn't really explain it, she just felt...dazed. "I am fine. 'ow are you?" She asked Magnus, trying to sound nonchalant with the question. She wanted him to know that she cared, without meaning to offend him again. Upon second thought, maybe she shouldn't have said anything at all...
"I'm fine. Sorry I was a bit out of sorts earlier. I'm okay now."
Sauvage smiled hesitantly and tried to change the topic: "So, what is it that you brought for me to drink?" She looked down at the cup in her hands.

Eirik watched the exchange between the two, and nodded again, although his eyes had drifted over to the lady with the stoat.
(((EDIT sorry, with the lag I didnt see your post Sauvage ))
Eirik stared at the drink. "Um, whatever you had asked for....? I remember asking you and Ariette both before I went up to get drinks, what you both wanted. I think that might be.." he took a sniff, "the mineral water with raspberries and lemon." He gave her a small smile.

Eirik told her what the drink was and honestly the boy was slightly distracted. What was it with that creepy chick? Cute little critter though. He sighed and looked at Sauvage and Eirik. They needed a topic--but he couldn't seem to think of anything.
((OOC: It's cool - happens all the time to me too))
Sauvage couldn't help but giggle at how palpable the awkward tension was. She looked at the two boys then noticed Fade () behind them, still sketching away, and asked the first thing that came to mind in that moment: " 'ave either of you dated anyone 'ere at 'ogwarts?" She realized only too late that Magnus () probably didn't have anything to add to this topic. Sauvage herself hadn't had her first date until she was 14, and she was only 15 years old now as a 4th year student. Too late now though, the question had already left her lips.
((ooc LOL great question :) ))

Eirik looked stunned, then looked at Magnus, and back up at Sauvage. "Uh...no, I haven't but um..." he looked again at Magnus. "Magnus is seeing someone. If you'll excuse me, " he said, and made his way out of the workshop.
'I neeed a smoke, ' he thought. What is with all these people tonight..? I am never like this..' he shook his head as he made his way outside and blurred to a safe spot. He lit up and leaned against a tree.

((OOC: thanks - legit was the first question that came to mind))
Sauvage watched as Eirik left the workshop and hoped she hadn't offended him. Without trying to put him on the spot, she turned back over to Magnus () and smiled encouragingly. "Sorry," she said. "Perhaps I said someting wrong?" She bit her lip in uncertainty.
"I'm dating a girl in me 'ouse. We started going out at the Christmas ball. She's very sweet." The Eirik suddenly left and this time Magnus stayed put. "Forgive 'im, 'e's not used to a lot of people. Let 'em get some fresh air."
"Oh, of course." She sighed in relief. "I am just afraid of saying someting wrong. No offense," she raised her hands in defense. "But, I feel as though I 'ave to teep-toe around my words with many of the people 'ere." She looked down at her hands to pick at her nails nervously. "Per'aps this is because I 'ave not been 'ere very long. I 'ave been 'ere almost one year and I do not 'ave many friendly." She then shrugged, hoping it didn't sound like she was fishing for sympathy.
"Its okay, not everyone makes friends easily. But you got some now, wif us. " He gave her a genuine smile. "You don't 'ave to with me. You can say or ask whatever you want. I won't be offended."

Eirik quickly finished his smoke because it was cold outside, did a clean, and made his way back into the workshop. He was hungry again and that smorrebrod was calling to him. He made his way over to the table, and helped himself to a few more servings of it, then got a glass of that mineral water he had gotten for Sauvage, and quietly took a seat away from Magnus and his friends. Maybe that would help...being away from people a bit more.
