Magnus shook his head. "I 'aven't officially met, no. But I've seen 'er before in passing." Pleased to meet you Fable, he gave a slight bow. He shook his head. "No, but thank you for the offer."

"Oh, Fable, I just remembered, they have gluten free options ! So feel free to eat something," Eirik said with a smile. He waited patiently for the others to let him know what they wanted, and nodded that he understood Magnus's declined offer of treats.

"I'm ok" He looked at his left out cakes. "I didn't even finished mine." Merlin finally decides to take out a notebook but doesn't take ink or quill to write. 'I'm going to enchant my notebook to take notes on its own without the need of ink.' He thought while smiling hoping he could do it but then decided not to since he shouldn't know how to.
Eros acknowledged Magnus' presence with a subtle return nod. The Slytherin then refocused on grabbing a small notepad and an ordinary black ink pen from the small outer pocket of his backpack. After getting his supplies, he made his way over to one of the empty chairs, but instead of sitting in it, he opted to sit on the ground instead, with his back slightly leaned against it. He flipped to the first blank page of his notepad and played with the pen between his fingers as he waited.
Outfit Not Found She gave a tired smile to Eirick. "Hey...I think Elizabeth() is coming but I didnt see her."
She walked with Eirick, a little jealous of all his energy and stopped to look at the scruffy, dark haired boy. 'I swear I have seen him before' she thought and then instinctually lean forward and sniffed gently in his direction. 'Ahhh' she thought, now she could put a face with his smell.
"Hello Magnus." she smiled then her eyes fell to the prefect pin. "What an honor, may I?" she motioned towards his crooked pin. She wanted very badly to adjust it for him.
She smiled at Eirick, "A strong tea if they have it would be lovely, oh! and if they have any of those crunchy cinnamon granola bars? I can use them as biscuits." She hoped they were wheat free. She situated herself onto a comfy over-sized beanbag chair. She sighed sinking in then got the "My chair" look.

Magnus didn't show any signs of noticing him being sniffed, but he did notice. But he didn't take offense to it, just general curiosity. "What? Oh this?" the boy asked, removing the badge and handing it to her, thinking she wanted to look at it. He was happy to see it off actually.

Eirik noticed another member of their house walk into the tent, and find a place to sit by himself. He had noticed the boy seemed to keep to himself, and thought perhaps he would see if he wanted to remedy that.
"I will be right back, Fable, " he said, looking over in the boy's direction. " I will bring your things back in a moment. Perhaps by then Kyros will have decided what he wants from the table, or I will bring him something back anyway."
Eirik made his way over to the boy who was now sitting on the floor, leaning against the chair, playing with his pen.
"hello, " he said. "I'm Eirik, I'm sorry I don't know your name, but I have seen you in our House. There is a group of us sitting over there, " he gestured, "if you would like to join us...? I am heading up to the refreshment table, and I could certainly bring you back something as well, " he said with a smile.

Fable held the pin and smiled. "Worried your going to mess up?" she gave him a sympathetic look. She reached forward and pinned it to his chest where it would be noticed and it was straight. "You should wear this with pride Mr. Magnus, it means that even if you dont always see it, the "almighty power" that chooses prefects does see your hard work and leadership qualities in you." she pats his shoulder reassuringly.
Lifting up her layered tops she flicker tail around so it would cover her feet as an extra layer of warmth and snuggled into 'Her' chair.
She nodded to Eirick. "Thank you..." and then looked over at Merlin. "Morning..." she tilted her head in curiosity as she noticed him staring at his quill and paper. "Wishing for one of those quick note quills Merlin?" she chuckled. "Or maybe telekinesis? the lazy mans power!" she said with goofy enthusiasm.

Eirik left to talk to Eros and Magnus gave Fable a half smile. "No, its not that," he said, "I don't want it." He sighed and the social boy suddenly felt drained. "Please excuse me," he said, "Nice meeting you." He went back to his chair took the pin off and tucked it in to his pocket. He picked up his pencil and book and started doodling absentmindedly.

She looked curiously at the boy as he became mildly upset and took off the pin. 'hmm...' she thought 'Maybe hes like her in the sense of not wanting to lead anyone else but herself through life...she thought humans were happy with achievements...they get more confusing everyday' she sighs.
She leaned back on her beanbag and looked about the ceiling. The neutral color was calming as was the shadow her hood created.
"Merlin...do you ever feel like the dragons make more sense then the people in your village?"

Eros didn't immediately look up when another student came to introduce himself. The Aussie teen's eyes remained on the pen as the other male spoke. When Eirik stopped, Eros eyes slowly gaze up to connect the voice to a face. He turned his head slightly, giving a half-hearted attempt to look in the direction that Eirik had pointed, but never entirely looking at the group that the student had gestured to.
There was a noticeable space of silence before Eros decided to reply. "Eros. I'm fine," Eros answered to dismiss the other young man. "Thank you, though," he added, attempting to be friendlier, but still sounded solemn.

Eirik's smile dropped. "Nice to meet you, Eros, " he said rather coldly. "I do hope you have a lovely day." and with that he turned and walked away, rather angry that he had been snubbed, by his own housemate yet ! He breathed in deeply as he walked to the refreshment table, knowing that it really would do nothing to calm him, and set about getting the drinks and treats for him, Fable and Kyros.
He tried to logic it out...maybe Eros was just an angry person, or he was pissed off about something..maybe it had nothing to do with him. 'You can't take everything personally, Eirik,' he thought. people were cold like this at Durmstrang too...he had met such a decent (if not cheeky at times) group that he had hoped to create solidarity in the House.
He brought the drinks and treats back over, handing them to Fable and Kyros before settling in himself. He was still angry and knew he wasn't hiding it well, not to one as perceptive as Fable was anyway. Finally he quietly burst out " What's wrong with me...? am I just a butthole or what...?" he sounded a bit exasperated. "You know, I don't expect everyone to like me, far from it, but I don't expect to be treated like a nothing from my housemate !"
Eirik grumbled, then set his tea and snacks down. "I am going outside to smoke before I bite someone," he said.

Magnus felt bad for leaving Fable and the others as he finished his sketch and then tapped the fish and it projected out of the page and swam. He leaned back in his chair and watched it circle. He had noticed Eirik leave but the boy simply didn't know how to help and was feeling a little off himself, so he let his drawing swim around as he started a new one. Drawing was relaxing, so eventually he'd re-centre... he hoped.
( and anyone else who saw him head outside)

Eirik stepped outside the tent, then away a little bit to stand behind a tree. He didn't think he would get into too much trouble smoking, but he wasn't taking any chances.
He lit up his cigarette, and tried to calm himself. 'Ok,'he thought, 'that was a major outburst. You have to stop doing that. You aren't going to be any good to anyone if you keep losing your temper like that."
He took a couple more drags, deep in thought. 'What is at the bottom of my reaction to Eros?' he considered. 'Is it a control issue...? Are you upset that he didn't just happily join your group..? Obviously, he was doing fine by himself, and wasn't the looking for friends but didn't know how to approach people type. Maybe he is just a loner, and prefers it that way.'
He sighed. 'Well, I am not going to give up. I am not going to pressure him, but if I see him, I will try to include him by asking if he wants to do...whatever we as a group...are doing. He can keep saying no, as is his right to, but I won't purposely exclude him.'
He finished his cigarette, satisfied with the conclusion he had come to.' A good leader has to know what tactics work and what don't. Perhaps he will come around in time.'
Eirik cast a simple clean charm to rid himself of the smoke smell, then checked to see if anyone was looking. The coast was clear, and so he stepped out from behind the tree and walked back into the tent.
He smiled as he walked back up to his group, and settled himself into his chair. A simple wave of his wand and his tea was rewarmed. He he sipped it gratefully.
"Everyone doing ok with their beverages and snacks..?" he asked, without a trace of anger in his voice. These people were his family now, and they meant a lot to him...even the ones that drove him up the walls. He was glad not to be alone with only his maker anymore.
He watched a fish swimming around the room, and smiled. Some people were so talented.

Magnus saw Eirik come back in the room and rejoin his group. And as he started making new lines, he saw Eirik smiling at his fish. The boy smiled and tapped his paper to sever it from the book. Then he tapped the paper again. The fish swam over and circled around Eirik. The older boy would likely know the spell to have the fish just animate on the page versus out in the open and if he enjoyed it, why not share. Magnus was always giving his art away to others, because it made him just as happy. The smile crept around his lips and the boy was surely relaxing.
"Thank you Eirick" Then Fable blinked at Eiricks sudden outburst. She felt empathetic about how he felt, but she didnt quite understand it.
She let him go relax and started to munch on the granola as her nose caught a delicious smell. She made the difficult decision to leave 'Her' chair, leaving her stuff in it though so it was obvious, and went over to the food table.
'Oh my Odin! Carrot cake!!!!' she sniffed it to check for wheat, once it passed the sniff taste she carried back the plate with the delectable.
The fish swimming around caught her attention and made her stop. She watched it admirably. She gave a small smile and a head tilt and said "Pretty"
then went back to her beanbag to savor every bite of the cake.
When Eirick came back in she smiled welcomingly but also was protective over her cake. "Feel better?"

Eirik smiled at Fable. "yes, much better. What is that you are eating...? " he sniffed. "It smells delicious."
Eirik saw the fish come swim over by him, and the paper it was connected to. He looked up, surprised, and over at Magnus. He smiled broadly and mouthed a 'thank you,' his eyes shining with happiness. He continued to watch the fish, relaxing even more as it swam about him.

Magnus nodded to the older boy, glad to see appreciated. Magnus' fish was being eyed by Fable and the boy flipped to another page in his book and began drawing. He wasn't sure why, but this time, he drew something smaller, fluffier. Finally when the long fur tufts were finished he severed the paper, and then animated the little drawing, with paper trailing, to Fable. The small long hair hamster scurried over to her, sat in front and nibbled on a carrot.
Seeing Eirick looking at her cake, she shoved it all in her mouth. 'He wont take it if its in my mouth' once she finished chewing, she responded "Its gluten free carrot cake...they have it on the table..."
She watched the little critter running up and watched it fascinated. She smiled over at Magnus and then looked back down at the hamster. She took it as a sign. 'This must mean I should have a hamster...' she thought. "so cute" she whispered at it.

Eirik stood up and was happy to let the fish follow him. " Gluten free carrot cake..? alright..." He watched as a little critter came scampering over Fable. It was a hamster. Eirik smiled at it, and then headed up to get some of the cake. He grabbed 3 pieces, each on a different plate, and walked back. He set one down by his chair, handed one to Kyros, and walked the other one over to Magnus.
"Thank you, for the fish. My cats and I will get hours of enjoyment watching it. This smelled really good, so I brought you a piece over, it's gluten free in case you have any issues..dairy free too from the smell of it." He smiled warmly at the boy.
