Almost 10 weeks :) Goes for his first checkup tomorrow although technically second visit since Aidan dropped him about a week ago and we thought he hurt his leg D= Thankfully it wasn't anything serious and with some pain meds he was good a couple days later. Phew

I am now going to think of my therapist search as kissing frogs. What a mental image! I hope I find one that I gel with tho, there aren't that many options in this town. I just of course took my time and I just mentally NEED IT TO WORK like YESTERDAY. My own damn fault, but still

as of mid-day yesterday i am (gasp) decent! i finally got the paperwork done on my new car. it's plated and in my driveway and it's so exciiiiting. now i just have to figure out how to get my lovely dumb truck up to NH to store at a friend's house. also, i'm so proud of you for doing the therapy thing. i've spent most of my life feeling/being that genre of awful ("lay on my sofa, sleep like shit, and go to work.. sometimes I game, but mostly I don't have the energy for that.") in addition to what Nike said, don't let a therapist that doesn't fit knock you off your progress. they're not all the same, and some will understand you so well. some... will not. my first therapist was so far removed from the understanding of the sort of home life i had (poverty, only child raised by a single father, etc) that he just... wasn't able to relate. he was great, but not what i needed in a health professional. a therapist should never take issue with you wanting to switch, because they should have your best interest in mind.
