hugs everybody <3 I'm trying not to be completely bummed out right now :/ My Uncle Nick died the other day - I never did get to meet him in person - but he left my stepdad as the executor of the plans and regardless my stepdad needed to go see his dad and other brother asap </3

But... of course I'd get fired if I wasn't home to work because I work for a big faceless corporation and I'm not yet a 'permanent' employee... I'm still seasonal - and if Kaivonni had stayed home he'd have just been sitting around alone while I worked and I wouldn't even be able to take him to school soooooo... they all left a couple hours ago and I'm actually falling apart lol As soon as I shut the door I just started crying. I don't know how much of it is my Uncle's death, not actually getting to see him in person before he died, my kid going on this road trip to another state without me, the job situation chaining me to my desk even in a situation like this, adulting just sucks, or just being all alone for the first time in for ever - which I feel like I should be happy about lol

Anyway, that's my novel for the moment. I think I'm gonna go veg out on Dr. Who and organize my dvr :/ MOARHUGS

Omg I know that pain with the contacts - When my mom ran hers over I could see just enough screen to read one line of text so I scrolled through it slowly and wrote down every single contact and their number - only to lose the list after we replaced the phone. headdesk v_v I hope you have better luck!

Yikes, well I didn't ruin the screen or anything that drastic so it's pretty easy to grab the info I needed. We just ordered cases for them. Hoping they come in this week... hubby is not allowed to take his to work until the case comes in. He works in the kitchen... so yeah, not a phone friendly environment!! He can still use his old phone until then. No biggie.
