Not bad, bein lazy~ How about you?

You got your bandanna!
The suburbs might be a good place for you, then. Cities are like a whole other world, and I sort of love them, but I think they can be overwhelming and scary at times. Traveling is always so expensive. Going to Buffalo to try to move cost like $100 each time with food and gas and whatever and sometimes we were going twice a week and ugh. I'm sorry his brother was being a mooch, too. Josh sounds like he's so easy going, I'm sure he gets taken advantage of easily : (
Thanks! I'm sure I'll get something figured out. I'm just ready for this to be over at this point, lol.
I haven't seen the first episode yet, no. I've been watching all the trailers and reading a lot of reviews, though.
I think historical fiction shows are different than books for me because they're a lot of visual stuff, which I like and can get drawn into easily? Like, Downton Abbey?
Thank you! Have you seen Steven Universe?
Oh I know! I have a few CWs that I haven't even used yet. I need to stop buying. xD That sounds like a good time! I hope you get to relax and have fun.
I did! I love it haha
Cities are so great, but also terrifying? Idk, it's just a lot. And the area we were in wasn't very colorful or happy. It was just concrete and noise. But I like that being in the outskirts, we can easily bus into the city whenever we want. ^_^
Another cashier quit last night, so now there's only two cashiers left and I think I'll get lots of hours this coming week. Which is great for money, but not so great because I'd like to take a Friday-Sunday off soon to go visit a friend in PA, and I doubt I'll be able to do that until they hire more people.
I'm glad you found it! : )
Yeah, it really depends on the city, too. I did like Buffalo a lot - it had a lot of cute little stores and murals and an artsy feeling. We weren't like RIGHT downtown but we were definitely in the city when we were there. But, anything farther than the central hub seemed more industrial for sure.
Oh geez. That's frustrating but also good money? Could your friend arrange to take like a day or two during the week off? Might be easier for you to get like Thursday/Friday off than two weekend days?
Buffalo sounds like Athens; it's also very artsy and has lots of little stores along the strip. I adore it so much!
I don't think the days would really matter much at my work, just getting 3 in a row would be difficult for them to swing since we currently only have 5 employees loool. He works at a daycare, so it's just easier for me to try to work around his weekends off. I need friend time, so I'd like this to work out haha
How has your week been so far?
I'm hoping to end up somewhere semi-artsy, at least. I didn't care for Philly as much, because that was more like the fast-paced, crazy city life. It was neat to visit, but the area felt kind of ... I dunno. Concrete jungle, like you said.
Ohh, yeah, that makes sense. Hopefully they hire some new people! Have there been people applying? Neat space stuff on your avatar :0
It's been mostly good! A little stressful, but nothing crazy. I was supposed to have to travel like 2.5 hours to get some paperwork done for Amazon but they're letting me do it locally at a notary and send it in, which is a relief.
You know, I haven't. I've seen a bit of stuff about it though and went through a wiki once... I think the show has a lot of cool ideas for a cartoon that embraces the fact kids can handle the themes and whatnot. Plus the art is pretty cool. ^^

Hi! I feel like I'm constantly exhausted. How is everyone?
Hey !
Happy Sunday! I'm battling a bit of a hangover right now, heh. But I'm around today ;)
hey guys! i haven't really been around lately, i've been so busy since my birthday! how is everyone?
HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!! I'm here C: I'm well! Hungover this morning, but well xD How are YOU?! Beach was good?
HIIIIIII!!!!! Beach was good!!! First week back at work.... not so good. Children forget school rules and forget to respect adults when they've been off for 2 weeks :(
How is work???/yourself in general haha
Ugh, yeah... kids. xP How old are the ones you teach?
Work is INSANE. We had a flood this week which I had to deal with.. and my coworker left on mat leave and we havent hired anyone to help me yet so I'm basically taking the client load of 2 people and so I'm unable to get all my managerial stuff done. I'm interviewing a girl Wednesday.. hopefully she's good!
I teach year 3 which is 7-8 but I do a meet and greet with a girl in year 4 who is 9 next month. She has major behaviour issues but luckily she likes me and I like her so during our time I let her do what she wants (within reason obviously) instead of just reading with her ect. In all fairness I'm meant to help he set expectations for the day and she talks better when she's doing something
Oh my gosh that sounds stressful!!! Fingers crossed the girl is good on Wednesday haha, immediate start I'm guessing?
Sometimes to deal with those kinds of kids you just have to build a relationship with them. Sounds like you're doing well with her!
Pretty much, yeah. As soon as I find the right fit she's in xP I've interviewed a few people, but no one was a good fit for what I needed. I need someone who can cover the reception desk a bit and who also has the skills and personality to fit in with our clients.
We had an almost falling out on Friday, she's wanted to go outside all week and for 3 days I let her, but yesterday she didn't deserve a huge reward like that so I suggested we do some painting (I've made her like a scrapbook where she's gonna do some painting/drawing/writing ect) and she said she wasn't doing it but eventually changed her mind. That was an achievement in itself haha.
Oh, well fingers crossed she'll be right!!! The woman at the spa kinda place across the road from where I live is looking to hire another woman but only part time to do daytime so she can stay at home with her son who is like 1 I think
Good!! Baby steps xD Yeah two of the girls I worked with are gone on mat leave now.. It'll be interesting to see if they actually come back.
- Hi! :D
I'm actually not going to be around much the next few days. So busy. D:
Aw, well let me know what you think if you watch it! I loved Downton Abbey :D Although I stopped watching for a while because I got annoyed at it. For obvious reasons if you've seen it XD
I know that feeling D: It's hard to force youself, but I hope you can get enough sleep! Regular sleeping hours really help!
Hey! How you doing?
Oh no XD Was it a good night then? Hope you're feeling better!
Busy is good! How's life treating you otherwise?
I've been good! Finally on holiday! I'm in Brussels with my mom and sister!
