I haven't even attempted to look for them (or my curved needles) today :P nods Hobbycraft probably don't stock quite the same brand name as the online shop I got my 'minky' fabric from, but it seems much the same quality for a lot less on the price (and no postage to pay either!) :D I love the pottery outfit today! That's a fantastic idea, using the graffiti, poster and bricks to make an indoors outfit :D

it was always really weird when you saw them come in the first time, looking really wary and almost scared of being responsible for picking out their own shirt and tie laughs It worked brilliantly.... as does today's outfit! That jumper looks perfect with the background & sparkles :D

It was awesome! Its the most beautiful city. Its all old, ornate architecture. and the prizes are so low. Especially compared to here. :P Plenty of shopping! Both high-end and dirt cheap.

Remember I told you a few months ago that I was peep sitting some chicks and ducklings? Well I did some research, and it turns out that our township is okay with us owning a few chickens, but about 3 houses down it's not okay. xD I had really wanted some silkie chickens, but apparently it is super hard to tell their gender as chicks, and we can't have a noisy rooster. So, yesterday we drove out to a poultry farm in Lancaster and picked up a pair of young silkie hens. They are very sweet and they have already laid an egg each! I took a picture after we brought them home yesterday: We named them Pompom and Deborah. When they are more settled in, I am going to bathe them and teach them to walk with chicken harnesses. Yes, I am a crazy bird lady. xD

I wasn't sure what to expect personality wise from them, since they probably hadn't been handled much before we got them. They are really sweet, though! Everything I read about silkies being sweet and cuddly seems to be true. ;)

aww Pompom and Deborah look really sweet :D I've never heard of a chicken harness before, let alone seen one! Having said that though, it was unusual to see a rabbit being taken for a walk round here, so we're almost in the dark ages when it comes to the way people can give their pets exercise :P

I think my feet are still sore from all the walking around. lol Its one of those cities you can visit many, many times and not get bored of it. :)

nods our local police force have a twitter account for their horse team.... and those horses are able to sniff out polos in someone's pocket (apparently the police officer has to have some polos in their pocket, for members of the public to give to the horse when they're on a high profile wander through the city centre :P) wonders why I've not spotted that before and goes to check the rest of the set ;) Thanks :) I was looking for a background that had a window opening to the left rather than the right, to use the background I originally had in mind.... but they all seem to be to the right :K :P
