hehe one advantage to something having so many colours, is that it should be easier to match at least one of them to the rest of the outfit! ;) .... actually, that reminds me of when I worked in a fancy clothing store - we'd usually get a man come into the shop to buy a shirt and tie (most of the times his wife had sent him in, after she'd helped him pick out a suit), and they'd always ask me for help in picking a tie. I didn't have a clue until my boss said to just make sure that the tie either had the shirt colour in the pattern, or matched the suit jacket ;) apparently then you can't go wrong laughs :P Thanks :D I had fun layering the background to get the swirls to look right ;)

😮 that's an amazing bit of layering! I wouldn't have thought of doing that! ;) hehe I wanted the hood to blend in a little better, but that was the best one I could find that'd cover most of the face :P

Hehe, that is true, more colors allows for more matching options. It sounds like your boss gave some good advice! xD I can see how it would be tricky to match a tie to a suit, some suits/ties have some pretty funky patterns. It looked great! the dolphin & dinosaur eyes are applique - I used some faux suede for the black, and acrylic felt for the whites, then just zigzagged round in black to attach them ;) The bear's eyes have a small bit of white acrylic felt behind safety eyes just to make them stand out a little more ;)

hehe the fat quarter pack was all in the same style, with the raised dots, so I thought I'd do a couple of dotty things :P I've got the rest of forest bear (hand) sewn, but I struggled to sew the legs on (the long fur was getting in the way), so I've left that for tomorrow :P I think I need to dig out my doll making needles, as they're a lot longer than the regular ones, so it should make sewing the limbs a bit easier (I hope!) ;)

I am basically just speeding through twilight princess now. xD Probably wont be near as long with me just following the guide for everything.

It was amazing! Prague is simply beautiful. Plenty of shopping, good food and some sightseeing. :D

they could just be embroidered on, rather than applique, but I didn't want to try free-motion embroidery for that :P hehe it worked out a lot cheaper than buying the fat quarters online too (£7 for a pack of 5, less 20% for their grand opening offer) ;) gathers up the luck I think I'll need it.... assuming I can find my longer needles of course (no idea where I stashed them o.O)
