Sparky was posing for photos this week ;) This one shows off his long fluffy feathers (apart from his tail, as he moulted the two longest feathers, and the others haven't grown in yet, so his tail is pretty short at the moment :P .... and he's still moulting!)

mine wasn't quite as good a match as your dress with the background you've chosen today - that looks perfect together! :D hehe after a while you get used to holding the camera really steady - until someone says "what's that in the distance over there" and expects you to find it within seconds to be able to identify it :P (Dad tends to be really vague on descriptions too, like "it's a bird in that tree, just up from that branch".... which tree, and which branch?! :P)

That's a pretty tall tree.." and he points vaguely to somewhere in the middle of the tree, and says the bird is brown. laughs That could be any number of birds around here!

hehe he's not quite as keen at posing (yet) as Sid was, but he's already been able to copy the sound of my camera (and he's only had his photos taken on that twice I think - the rest were taken on my phone) ;)

I've got one of those mini desktop tripods, but I do want to get a full-size one at some point - the mini one comes in quite handy when I want to take photos of either a storm, or fireworks from the window ;)
