Thanks, me too! xD Yeah, I have one or two backgrounds that are like that. Either the clothes end up too dark with the background and lack contrast, or they end up too light to look natural with the dark background.

I got the jacket finished (including the hand sewn hem) :D dances And I thought rather than 'wasting' the metallic purpley fabric on making a container for sewing patterns, I would make this top (link) instead - I'm about 2 inches short on the fabric compared to what the pattern says, so I should be able to make a slight shorter version of view E ;) .... and maybe use something else for the facings if I get stuck :P

and another amazing outfit! Those sparklies look perfect against the moonlit sky :D Thanks :D This is yet another dress I don't think I've used before laughs I always buy up loads of stuff then cram it in my wardrobe and forget about most of it :blush :P

Haha, I am guilty of the same thing. xD That's one reason it is nice to change my HA daily, I get to wear things that have been sitting unused in my wardrobe. Yeah, I'm a sparkleholic. xD Thanks! :D The feather shoulder drape matched the sparkly new dress, so I had to pair them. You wear the new diadem well, too! I was going to slot on it, but thought I might wait for recolors, since I am slotted on a few things at the moment. xD

My patience with the sweater is wearing thin, but its gonna be something to take pride it. More fun now anyways now that I work with different colours, not just all dark blue. lol

congrats on the nab with the dress! :D Every now and then I like to pick at least one item from the last couple of pages in my wardrobe, just to use something that's been there the longest laughs Some of the stuff in there is in dire need of a revamp though! :P

Thanks :D I hadn't expected it to match quite so well either :P It came out really well :D I've not bothered with the hook & eye closure on the front, as I tend to wear jackets open anyway ;) It fits well (I added a smidge at the back as normally I feel jackets are snug across my shoulder blades), but other than that, it didn't need any alterations from the pattern at all :D In fact, I might use the same pattern when I make my autumnal leaf jacket (I bought that fabric in the clearance and wondered what jacket to make with it :P) ;)

I've got the top pinned - there's a massive 8 and a half inches of ease in it, so it looks .... large :P but there's a few gathers to add in, and I might add a small sash thing for the waist just to stop it looking like a tent 😊

hehe he didn't seem too keen at Mum putting it in his toy box (an old ice cream tub), so we've left it out for him to have in the cage later in the week ;) nods but most of the jackets I've seen in shops are lined (and those seams are done differently again), but I managed to get the seams finished, and Mum couldn't spot any of the stitches on the right side :D hands you some more patience Good luck with all that colourwork! ;)

It is a pretty season. :D It tends to make me sad though, because it means winter is coming, and I really don't like the cold very much. xD Yeah that's true, I'd definitely wear a new shiny, even if it was out of season! Considering jackets are meant to be horrible (and complicated) to sew, this one was quite easy (no collar!), but I've done a couple in duvet cover fabric before and they came out quite well too ;) laughs there's no fastenings (the three buttons on the front are decorative), so you need "some" ease to get it on and off.... but I'm not convinced you really need 8 and a half inches worth :P [edit] In fact, I saw a blog post where the person said she'd made a size 12, even though her measurements said she'd be a size 16.... and it fitted perfectly o.O

I agree! :D I am not holding my breath though, haha. Yes! There's still some of the very first wearables they added to the site that haven't been revamped yet. xD It must be a lot of work redoing all that stuff, though.

I don't envy them either. xD There's almost always some people who are upset too, because they preferred the old version. If I were the artist, I think I'd take that too personally!
