Meh you seem as about computer savy as me. Less to do with age and more to do with experience. I almost wish I didn't have it. It makes me lazy...and the package tracking app on the phone makes me obsessively track packages like 20 times a day LOL
I'm sitting here like "The estimated delivery date was 3 days ago and it hasn't moved!!!" WHERE IS MY MAIL DID THEY LOSE IT.
This is no way to live :p
You bastard, you
So are we going to march down to the no-internet service not-provider on monday and do a sit-in? Goblin, witchy and i discussed this earlier. Witchy do you mean Sorrel? was that her name it sounds vaguely familiar?
HAHA yes! The guys will love it though, having three ladies hanging out with them :P This is the band that will be playing tomorrow at the pub :D I can't wait!!
SKELETON MCKEE Four, Five & soon Six! DFW Celtic musicians want to do something a little differently...with an eclectic selection of pub songs and Celtic folk-rock, and a wee bit of Trad, blues and country. "We bring you a Celtic-infused night of entertainment featuring great singing, precision instrumentation and intricate rhythms."
We only live in the Mid-Cities and depending on where in Dallas or around Dallas you lived, it'd be about 20 mins without traffic.
Ugh never mind CWs, every SP I make is going to the Alchove or user shops to make Alchove items, but just shy of level 28 in Alchemy.
Love you should have come for dinner, made a Guiness boiled corned beef, fried some Yukon Golds with rendered down English bacon, lol and there's just enough to make corned beef hash for brunch tomorrow
, How are you, my Loves?

How is everyone? gives everyone cheesecake, wine and massage chairs That The roads were downright terrible for a few days after the snowstorm. The roads leading to the malls were barely paved, and now that the snow and horrid ice on the streets has been melted....we're due for snow again tomorrow, Saturday XP What is truly hilarious is how some people came to the store in the MIDDLE of the snowstorm. Seriously, if I wasn't scheduled to work that day and getting paid, I wouldn't even be there! I bought everything I needed when it WASN'T snowing. There was a couple that actually WALKED there, and spent several hours just walking around the store. There was actually a girl (she had a lovely Irish accent, came with 3 other women) that walked THROUGH the doors, looked at me and asked "Are you open?"
...........I was a smidgen tempted to say no. If we were closed, no one would have been able to get IN. -_-
I am in a pleasant enough state, My Love, Thank you. How are you? You were telling Witchy about a delicious dinner you made? I would have loved to taste it~ The only corned beef I've had if the one from a can--MD used to cook it on the stove (removing it from the can, of course XD) and mix eggs into it. She used to allow me to bite a tiny piece of it raw, as I kind of preferred it that way, without all the egg in it. (although I wasn't allowed too much of it raw, Father and MD said it wasn't good for me)

Sounds like our weather??It is nice now and all that white stuff is melting like crazy. Then yesterday it snowed a little LOL
Wonky weather indeed T_T Your avatar is very cute <3
huggles tightly I meant to talk to you ages ago, forgive me, Dearest. I have missed thee so! You have all zee prayers for you to be healthy once more. You are still recovering from the surgery, waking your digestive system back up, thrush, and now influenza and then bronchitis on TOP of that? wraps you in warm blankets, hot wraps, and gives you tons of soup and tea To bed with thee! As for your son, clubs would help a bit...hm.....perhaps a science or book club? He may enjoy that--book club members get to stay in the school libraries longer, borrow more books, even stay in there during lunch time if they wish.

My mate, Weldon, is rather a traditionalist when it comes to celebrating Saint Patricks Day, Welly and I started the day with coffee, and a 'full breakfast' of bacon, sausages, black and white, baked beans, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes halved, some potato leftover from yesterdays dinner, soda bread, butter, jam, strong 'Irish' breakfast tea and orange juice.
We nibble on scones and tea during the day, but pause for a light tea at 4:00.
At noon, we took a little walk through the forest to a place the wee creatures call 'The Cathedral' a small grove of Sequoia Redwoods, and said a prayer of thanks to our Maker for our many blessings. It's what little creatures do.
We ventured a dip in the swollen Misty Creek and were not surprised at how cold it was. Misty Creek at this time of year is merely melted snow. Needless to say, we didn't get much more then our bottoms wet, the creek is too swift to venture in up to our necks.
A full Tea 'Dinner' was late this evening and consisted of cottage pie, colcannon, barmbrack, and tonight, we also had some cabbage and carrots at my insistence.
While not traditional, I love gingersnaps, and almond-anise biscotti for after dinner sweets. I especially love dipping my ginger snaps in dark Irish Stout ale or Irish Whiskey. I chose to have Whiskey and gingersnaps tonight, Welly chose to enjoy a few pints of stout. He played several reels and jigs on his penny whistle and I danced and sang until we were both breathless and fell into each other's paws. It was just the two of us, the evening was warm and the moon is just now coming up. We'll be heading off to bed soon.
I'm not Irish, but Weldon's family originated from Ireland a long time ago (His clan name is Saint George). He is unable to trace his lineage or the location of his clan's origin.
The idea of green ale somehow seems like swimming in a pond filled with algae, which I've done many a time.
I love you all, my LRVT Family, Just wishing you all a very pleasant Saint Patricks Day...please forgive the ramblings...but that's what I do....( giggle )
My Love you must come for brunch! The canned stuff is gross, even doctoring the Dis out of it can't hide the tinny flavor. They used the canned stuff at work, the sad thing is every few weeks they do corned beef for lunch, real corned beef, for pity's sake, instead of tossing leftovers do real corned beef hash the next morning
How bad was the snowstorm, Dearest? How many inches or feet did you get hit with? How long did it last? Was it a Blizzard or just heavy snowfall? Walked? Goddess be good! The gent who walked around for hours may have had his power out at home and was probably just savoring feeling heat again
I'm well thanks, miss talking with you but know you're busy, Love<3

OMG OMG and !!! Look what made for her nieces and nephews!!! AND IT'S HEALTHY! (inside is Pineapple cake :D)

Be BACK Later to talk!
Check it out - loves me--I mean my rainbow decorating skills. XD
gleeful face Pineapple does add to the nutritional value, plus the fact that it's all homemade so there are no preservatives or anything. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I really really extremely want:, STOP! hahahaa, especially since i am completely out of rainbow!! hahahaaaaaa ooooooohhhh, the greennnnnnnnnn hahahaaaaaa (which is really appropriate with what you are wearing) :D
hahahaaaaa!!! omg. girl, you really do have some issues if you're obessed with tracking packages. lol mmmm, but than again, it's something i would do too, if i was waiting for something special. lol
(HAHAHAHAHAAAA!!! =router)
, hahahaha, i'm lost. wait....maybe i remember? no, no Sorrel, but you are right, that name sounds familiar.
and hahahaaa, i WOULD do a sit in, if my vroom broom was working :D i'm just going to call them. i keep hoping that they will actually do right by me. ha. (I life in fantasy land)
, That's how i always thought of it, but looking on the map, it's like WHOOAAAAA, that's really far!
grin. am i living to much 'city' after all? (even though it's really boonies) guess you can tell i don't drive any more.
ha.
oooooo, , do you know, i don't ever remember having corned beef. i'm sure i have, i just don't remember it. so i would have LOVED to come over and had some with you! I WAS lucky enough, that the man brought me home some Guiness.
i have some chicken thawed in the fridge. i think i'm going to pound out the pieces, and roll up some ricotta, mozerella, spinch, bacon inside of it, roll it up, sprinkle with parm, and throw in the oven.
i'm hoping that it will be et'able (eatable)
i've been getting to do the zombie den stuff for me. lol. she's working on the wigs for me. hahahaaa man. i feel for her. but i guess if it helps her "level up" than it works out ok?
hahahaa , omg that sounds so much like where i used to live. they would all go to the local walmart when it was bad weather (yes SNOW) just to "visit with their friends"
hahhaaaa every one meets at walmart.
, I was zooming around last night, and saw you and Weldon playing. I was going to come down and join you all for a little nip of whiskey, but when you finished that last song and fell into each others arms giggling (like Loons!) than i thought (FOR ONCE) that maybe "now" wasn't a good time. perhaps a little privacy was called for. so i zoomed away.
:D
/i absolutely LOVE your stories/ :D
, LOL well I have to figure out a way to eat "healthier" and that's as good as any :D
lol
It sounds like you and Weldon had a wonderful day, you truly are a match made in heaven. Dont go too deep in the very cold water, it might not be good for getting cramp. I think I only got items for the 1 wig up to now? send the rest whenever, or am I mistaken? Ill go check the trades. In England its Mothers day next week, my daughter took me to the garden centre and we had lunch and she got me a lovely bird table and all the seeds etc, I love watching the birds, and it suits my hubby cause he can move it when he cuts the grass. Those cakes look too good to eat! m&m's in the middle too thats fab. Oh I remember I made 2 wigs but one came out different? I do wish that wouldnt happen especially with the cost of tokens at the minute.
Wine? Oh, my Mistress nomewBeer or a good single malt Whiskey, anything else is almost sacrilege. LOL I'm not big on tradition, I hate the taste of beer and I don't like where whiskey takes me, I can cook with them but drink them, I'll stick with vodka, but I'm glad you had a good Saint Padrig's Day, Lassie
I LOVE Irish Music and OMG...bagpipes make me swoon. Was talking to a co-worker, both of us took step dancing and were thinking of takng a refresher course (there's a studio a few blocks away that specializes in Step) and doing a demo next St Paddy's Day
Never had corned beef? Oh, you poor benighted Darling! While I'm not big on boiled protein of any kind...not even a Reuben sandwich?? Truly? Come, BB and I will complete your education, next year I may braise it in guiness and do a guiness reduction
Mother of Night that looks so tempting! Are you a Pastry Chef? God those are gorgeous and I'm not a cupcake kind of guy

lol EVERYTHING I ORDER IS SPECIAL :P I'm sure you would, too haha
Once I enter the tracking numbers in the app, it beeps a notification every time the package is scanned as it moves. So, I can't help but look when I hear the beeping.
One time a package went to like 12 different states, spent a week in New Hampshire, then arrived at my door another week after that, looking like it had been through a war. I've been on edge ever since, man Over a month do get a domestic order. Just happy it got here at all.
: You would have been very welcome to come join us for some dancing and singing and drinking a wee-drop of the Irish. We would not have felt that our privacy would have been invaded. There is always plenty of time for us to have our 'quiet time' together. ( giggle ) Next time we will go out of our way to invite you.
: I am a little water-baby, I cannot resist at least putting my tail into the water, no matter where, and the cold doesn't bother me too much. It really was the swiftness of the stream that concerned us. With all the rain and snow that we have gotten last month, and now all the warm weather, all the reservoirs, streams, rivers and lakes are at near flood stage. It seems that California's 5 year drought is nearly over with a vengeance.
, OH Man! that sounds SO Nice! what a good daughter you have :D grin. hehehe. oh i'm going to use that on my daughter. lol. "HER Daughter took her out to a garden for lunch and bought flowers for her to grow"
hahahaaaa.
, LOL i guess it IS special. :( I have so many "shopping carts" full, just waiting for me to pay for the items. hahahaaa, every thing will probably be out of stock/no longer made, by the time i evrer get the cash. heh.
LOL I would SO take you up on that offer!
oh, got to tell you, pounded my chicken (i so wanted to say "pounded my meat" hahahaaaa juvenile behaviour)
and stuffed 'em with ricotta, roasted garlic, small handful crispy bacon, fresh spinach, mozzarella, handful of parm, rolled it up, and piled parm on top of it, baked it, and WOW it turned out so good!
grin. i was thinking of you, wishing you were here, to taste it with me, i always wonder if I only think it's good, or if it really is. and I know YOU would be honest, "needs this, less of that, etc"
ah well. you were with me virtual. :)
:) Maybe I will invite myself next time i see you, when i'm out zooming around :D
Eeee! So excited! Thank you! I am not a pastry chef but I really enjoy baking and have baked tons of cakes and cupcakes for people and events over the past 8(ish) years.
My family all really loved them and inhaled them faster than thy could think. ❤️
