I went from Dutch to English and back, but that translation didn't make any sense xD I always think my English is pretty good, but then I want to say the simplest of things, and I just don't know the words. In school we learn simple phrases to pick up to phone, or to start a conversation, but no textbook ever talks about wallpaper :D

uh.. wow. just wow. Now I know my group so I shouldn't be surprised y'all remembered but still. you are the best of the best you guys, you know that right?

Thank you ALL from the depths of my being. BUT - before I let you go there is something I want to say and it's important.

Today is bittersweet. I think about her often but today.. today is the day thoughts of my birthday twin, Marreshaan consume my every thought. And I realize all over again how terribly I miss her. I also think about Karen, Gina, about friends we grew to love but lost over the past decade.. and believe it or not, today is the one day I let my guard down as the tears fall silently. Not out of selfpity or loss, but out of friendship so deep I miss them still. And I know today, more than any other day they can see how deep the imprint they left on my heart truly is.

So. During the ball last spring I mentioned wanting to do something in her memory with Cie. It was that first ball when we met, it's always held a special place in my heart. We decided on this:

For both the delicate design and description. But reality invaded my world and before I knew it I was down for the count. After the morostide festivities come to an end (and because I am not fast) I will be sending them 'round in memory of those gone too soon.

For most of my lair it might come as a surprise to hear the reason I havent replied to the official lair thread since making my way home much is it is still a struggle for me to catch my breath. Hell this post has been a work in progress since 9 am. Forgive me that, seems yours truly was/is someone corona caught up with around the end of may.

I still don't know how, I'm one of those who made bleach water and put it in spray bottles for the elders to help kill anything on surfaces it didnt tarnish (and some things thought would be ok but werent, whoops), I was then and still constantly tell the kids to put a freaking mask on, remember to wash up, count to 20 while you do, don't get close to anyone inside a store or shop, think about going to the mall blah blah blah. the whole spheel. And ironically the invisible monster caught me.

The cdc decided my case went under third party contact, which I still dont understand, I didnt hang around anyone I didnt know. I never do. Due to diabetes and some other pre-existing things the effects linger but I am fighting every day to be up a little longer, to move around without o2, to try to be me again. Baby steps.

SO! Remember this when a bottle of wine pops up in your inventory and smile as you raise your glass in memory of those no longer here but forever in your heart. ~Laurs
