I'm excited for Christmas. We put together some empty boxes with certain things like a large bell, some crinkly paper etc. inside them, so he can have fun throwing them around/ ripping them open (with us there obviously lol he's almost 7 months old ... how time flies)

lol, I remember doing stuff like that with my children. Time does fly by fast.

Rainy, cold, dreary morning here. Having my cuppa, well nearly finished now, and I'm just about ready to get going on the stuff I need to do around here.

Hey all. Had a relaxing day so am recovered from the week. I had to move classrooms in the middle of the week so was just a bit more stressed than usual. Went and got our Christmas tree today. It was a bit wet so it's kind of up in the house drying at the moment until tomorrow then we'll get the ornaments on. :)

It's a chilly day here. No rain today but suppose to tomorrow. Would be more like Christmas if we had a little snow.
I've got two weeks of RL activites starting today so if I don't post it really won't be anything new. lol

Had a migraine all day yesterday so got very little done. Snowed overnight and we ended up with about 4 inches. Roads are mostly clear it seems but they look icy. Will know more when I feel like bundling up to head out to check. More snow expected overnight with the possibility of ice so I'm hoping it will get warm enough this afternoon to go out with mom to get some stuff done, since I don't think we'll be able to go out tomorrow.

Hope you had a good time decorating your tree. They are always so pretty when they are done.

Hope you find some time for some rest inbetween all your activities.

The tree was a pain in the butt at first, but we got it. The way the stand works, it kept lifting the tree up into the air and making it unstable. Lol. We ended up just not tightening the stand as much. It's actually pretty tall, but it seems pretty stable. It does look nice. I like the extra warm lights especially since it gets dark so early now and it smells nice. :D Be careful in the snow and ice. It sounds really pretty at least, but it sure makes everything else harder!

Been a long week this week. Hope the rest of you are hanging in there!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season so far! I'm working on getting everyone here at least one pressie under their tree. I haven't been on due to getting a cricut as an early present from my parents and i've been making ornaments!

Sadly I've missed a few days of Melody but it could be worse. Christmas is coming too fast!!

A week or so I developed vertigo. This happened the day of me finally recovering from being ill.

The only reason I'm considering going to Christmas Eve and Christmas Dinner is because the food is just that good XD

Oh that's awful! I can't stand it. I have positional vertigo, but going to the ENT who sent me for PT and doing the movements made it go away. I also can only lay on my right side and sit up in the bed.

Hope everyone's pre holiday plans and tasks are going well. Not so much here. Been behind all month. Spent most of the day making our usual family turkey bread ball soup only to discover the breadballs had started to come apart into the broth when cooking. Mom has no idea what went wrong 'cause she did what she always does. We've rescued the broth but we'll have to use noodles instead. She was also making extra for my brother's neighbors in KY but now there isn't enough to send. :( I burnt cookies yesterday. I mean, we'll be fine, we have food and we'll be here, but it sucks to spend that time making stuff only for it not to turn out.

I hope you're feeling better and that you can find a way to manage it or it goes away totally!

Some vertigo is caused from crystals building up. That vertigo can usually go away after a few physical therapy sessions.

I, unfortunately, don't have that kind. Because why make my life easy XD

your day sounds a little like mine, only mine wasn't with cooking. praying today goes much better for both of us.
