Been tired and busy. Getting ready for dmy's step-daughter's wedding on Saturday and I am doing allergy testing next Monday and Tuesday so no allergy medicine right now and I ache more than usual. Been resting a lot. Got my dress and shoes for the ceremony today, black and white, but still summery with strappy white sandals.

Time is just flying this summer. School here has started in most districts, the rest I am guessing next week. It's been warm and muggy. Until today any rain they forecasted, for the most part, we never saw. Been rainy on and off all day which is nice though it's super humid.

Starting to get in traveling mode for our trip out to NJ. Weather permitting we'll head out September 4th. Lots to do before then. Plus a visit from my brother who is in Kentucky next week. Been doing little things around the house mostly, the rest of my time I'm procrastinating doing those little things (I'm really good at that! lol) or now playing World of Warcraft because the new expansion started Monday and I will not be able to play at all while I"m away (which should be through at least October 8th).

Hope y'all are feeling better and something will actually get done to fix the issue. You shouldn't have to live with that!

Good morning everyone! How are you all doing?

I never got to get a real vacation until this couple of days but still, now I'm busy preparing for my exchange program. So excited and anxious, that's probably what got me sick this week. Yesterday night I woke up 3am shaking nonstop and that make me very scared, so I decided to go to the doctor. Also, I need to meditate more to deal with anxiety. But yay, going to Japan!

Yesterday was my birthday and I had a 'date' with the doctor to get my prescription, then bought medication and also some sweets on my way home. I was fairly pleased with my day. Mother is coming tomorrow so we will have dinner together to celebrate.

Hi everyone. Sorry haven't been posting much. As someone said I've been reading and lurking instead. Have had a really difficult few weeks. My son's cat that lived with me died last week. He had been sick for a long time and that was bad enough but it was the fleas that finally brought him down. We were unable to do anything until this week which was of course too late for him but will help the others. My son is just heartbroken and Rox and I have been really upset too. I made this for my son and he thought it was beautiful.

We had lovely rain that cooled it off down into the 80's and one day into the amazing blissful 70's. Remember those? I had a vague recollection until it happened. lol Alas now we are back to awful August and reality. Ugh...

Are you and Brian better now? Has the issue been fixed? I agree with jersey - you shouldn't have to live with that!

How is school going? Thank you again for recommending Drs Foster Smith to me. They had the cat flea stuff on sale (and the regular price is still much less than I was paying) and we were able to buy it. It was delivered yesterday and we dosed everybody and today the bug guy came out and sprayed. He suggested and I put out the dimetaceous earth too. The cats are hardly scratching now so I really hope all this works. If it does I will certainly be buying it from them from now on. Thank you again. <3

School is going well, just still busy during the day since I and a couple others are still having to escort some students around. We aren't really sure what to do because we cannot keep doing that. The students need to be able to go on their own. There's no funding for one-on-one aids at my school =/ Hopefully this week is better ^_^

The wedding was lovely and cute. I really think they are a good couple. My allergies are terrible right now with random hives, inflammation, sneezing, and coughing. Got one of the tests done. I am allergic to shrimp and that is the only food. Environmental tests tomorrow.

High temp today is supposed to be 74! Have stuff to do today with my brother coming for a visit tomorrow but hoping to get a little time outside too. Tomorrow should be about the same with a bit warmer on Friday before summer returns over the weekend. Really looking forward to the cooler temps.

I put up an end of summer ha challenge in the ks forums so y'all should go take a look! You know if you want to. I won't be heart broken if you don't or anything. ;)

Glad school is going well so far. Can't the kids read maps and isn't there a map of the school? Hope y'all can stop having to escort them soon (if you haven't already). btw, having my morning coffee watching 'Too Cute' on Animal Planet and one of the puppy breeds is corgi! My goodness they are adorable.
