I've been avoiding posting since hearing about Skye. It infuriates me to know that this could have been potentially prevented had she had access to adequate healthcare. The fact that someone could die because they could not afford to be treated by the flu just shows there is so much wrong with our healthcare system.

Skye, you will be forever loved and missed. I hope you are much happier without being plagued by intrusive issues that come with the mortal world. ❤

I'm still dealing with the fact that no one would help her get health care. It's just so sad.

I'm not part of KS and missed this post - thank you for letting us know what happened to her. I didn't realize she was that sick.

hello lovely friends. again i must apologize for not being very active..pretty much since i joined and im so sorry. it's hard for me to stay in contact with just about anyone and i haven't been participating in contests and im just so sorry. i still want to be a part of this. i disappeared again for a while because i was in the hospital and i'm having a big messy time recovering from the whole experience. but chatting with you guys and becoming more involved will be good for me because i'm really isolated and i like you guys a lot. much love.

I never met Skye but hearing of her tragic passing is so very sad and my thoughts are with all her friends <3

I am in a similar boat with coming in and out of being active as my dad is terminally ill and being in hospital with him/caring at home can be difficult and also rather isolating, so if you're feeling alone on subeta feel free to chat with me, I'm most likely feeling a little lonely myself!

Busy bee here with work can't wait for next month as i then have a week vacation and i need it. Whole lot of drama at work with an intern and still no clue if she is going to quit or not. Been cold here the last few days, freezing cold.. brr.

My first postcrossing letter has arrived it went to Germany (close by), hope i will recieve one soon. Still 4 letters are traveling to Russia, Belarus, America and Taiwan. I wonder how long it will take for them to arrive.

Also joined a post group on facebook, dutch one. Sending nice card to each other during the week with games, etc. Very fun and such a nice group.

Can't wait for survival, put my zombie outfit on already, lol!
