Got about 3" of snow this afternoon and you would think it's a snow apocalypse. This side of the country just doesn't know how to drive in snow =/ 20 min commutes turned into 2 hours because of all the accidents, people skidding out, people abandoning cars on the side of the road and abandoning cars in the middle of the road.

3" of snow in NC is a snow apocalypse lol

forecast says 10" tomorrow and it's not even enough to ruffle feathers... let alone cause a snow emergency. lol I'm thinking the ferrets can go outside and play if it warms up. :)

Back where I grew up, 3" barely would make the news. Just maybe some delays. I'm used to snowstorms being 4 feet of snow lol

LOL Before global warming set in, we used to call 4 feet of snow "halloween" ;)

Haha yeah I've never been completely buried in snow, just enough to make it near impossible to go anywhere. My friend got a massive snow storm dumped on her a couple of years back. To the point where people were buried alive in their cars D: very sad

I spent the last few hours figuring out my battle resolutions for 2017. -collapses- The fact my "Your Pets" page is a mess did not help. I really need to work on re-ordering them. I don't know when they got so out of whack. I am however pretty sure it was my doing. o_O

It's the same here Wesker, though we rarely get snow whenever we do most people have to stay indoors. To use my dad's favourite phrase; they can't drive for toffee xD I like the snow, but I'm glad we don't have to deal with impassable amounts of it

sorry to hear youre back to zero for the irritating rabbit - if he was not blue in his original color i bet he would turn blue from all the battles and slams he got from the battlers ( altough in the meanwhile i guess he would already turn purple or black from getting beaten up all the time rofl :):)

bwahahaha they shut down production today so I have a snow day xD I am used to dealing with a lot more snow than this. The issues isn't the roads, it's the people aren't used to driving in snow. I was watching the news last night. Because of all the accidents, 9pm and there was still bumper to bumper traffic. It was taking people hours to get home. It usually takes me 12-15min to drive to and from work and yesterday it was saying it was going to take me 30-35 mins to get home. My boyfriend is one exit further down from me and it was going to take him 1 hr and 35 mins to get home, that's how bad it was in his area. I know some people at work tried to leave and wound up coming back, they never made it to the highway less than a mile down the road.

I order my pets so that all the battle pets are first. Makes it easier and faster to put the right ones in training.

Congrats! I never had the chance to unlock him through the IH since I made it all the way to 100. I was extremely fortunate and had a lot of cheap quests so I didn't have to quit. He wasn't worth buying to me since his loot and experience isn't great.

That's what I hear from my old friends who have moved to warmer climes all say. They can deal with the snow/ice -- they cannot deal with the other drivers who do not understand the words SLOW DOWN! Not to mention, they apparently don't know how to drive out of a fishtail.

It seems like we don't even really have seasons so much anymore. It's mostly just a matter of how hot the summer is with a few months of poor sledding... lol I live in one of the coldest states in the union and hopefully today we get enough snow that kids can start their forts.

- Ugh, people who don't understand winter driving conditions are the worst. :( In BC winter tires are actually required to be put on your car by law, I wish we had that here too! We still have seasons here, sort of... actually, we get more of an autumn now than we ever did before, before it was mid september frost day, hurry up and clean up all the leaves day, and then winter the next day. All our halloween costumes had to be designed to fit over our snowsuits.

The thing that always surprises me is how people will consistently drive too fast for conditions. If you are not used to driving in snow/ice/sleet/fog/etc... isn't your natural instinct to slow down? It must only be me... I am always amazed at how fast people will drive on glare ice. Even up here. Sure, some are visitors who don't know better, but there are also a large number of people who think because they have lived here so long that they can handle it. lol If they really DID know how to drive, they wouldn't be doing 45 in a 30 zone on ice.

That was the problem yesterday, people tailgating and driving way too fast. I saw a guy that managed to spin all the way around and was facing the wrong direction. I was a little more cautious than normal because I got a brand new car back in June and I didn't want to get hit by an ignorant driver =/
