My granddaughter, the one who is engaged, is moving back home which means she'll be back in our basement. She didn't plan on it until January but got a job here already. Have been moving things around and getting ready for her. She'll be here until she gets married in April. I told her, she could finish doing my Christmas shopping for me. 😄

I tend to put things under trees here and there throughout the month, :) I used to approach it with the tactical precision of a five star general, but I've become a bit more laidback. Still always terrified that I'll miss somebody, though. In real life, I tend to buy stuff throughout the year when I see something I think the person will like, and hold onto it until either the holidays or their birthday.

Yesterday, almost wished somebody at work a "Happy Luminaire" 🙀 Happens once every year. Reminds me of the time I had to do a paper about a case study that involved a character named Lyle, and even though I read it over three times I still accidentally let a "Lyell" slip through (my Tigrean.) Wonder what my professor thought of that!

I'm usually quiet and will disappear for bits of time so don't be alarmed. Just being me lol. I love Luminaire but have only put one gift under a tree. Still have so much more to do. Irl I've decided to not put up the big living room tree. I have a smaller half wall tree in the dining room and will just use that one. Less for the kitties to mess with. Looking forward to meeting everyone. :)

It's ok. Some of us go quiet for a bit here and there. I'm kinda quiet myself so I don't always post. I try to but sometimes I don't really know what to say.

It will show up under events when you get one saying to open it. Just keep posting and I'm sure you'll get one. I think it's just random not sure if it matters how much you have posted.

If i had insurance i would have gone last week when i felt horrible. But it will go away eventually. It's not as bad as it was so i guess that's something. The doctor told my mom to tell us to drink lots and lots of liquid. All I drink pretty much is water anyways and occasionally hot chocolate. The cold is going around and a lot of people are getting it.
