I ended up going with Moon because everyone else I knew was getting Sun :P I do like Lunala better anyway. I've already become champion and finished my pokedex, so now I am attempting to breed a new competitive team, which has proven to be difficult without access to the sixth generation games where all of my stuff is. I can't wait for the new bank update!

Oh, that is okay! I have someone who is going to trade me one soon, actually. ^^ But if you have or can breed any other version exclusives that would be cool! I could find some exclusives from Moon and breed/trade you for them. Mainly interested in Passimian and Rufflet.

I chose Sun version because I love Solgaleo. (I named it Alchemy!) xD Also because my sister chose Moon version and I always play opposite her so that we have access to the version exclusives. Speaking of which.... I'm way further ahead of her in the game (She is still on Akala) and I am in need of some exclusives.... anybody wanna trade? xD

Also, is anyone else absolutely excite over the new SOS Battle feature like I am? I freakin' love it. It's my new favorite shiny hunting method! I love my shiny Mimikyu. ;w; Her name is Mono because the shiny Mimikyu is monotone. (Pronounced "Moh-noh".)

I got moon,but I love all the new pokemon on both sides. :) Im almost done with my dex too. I just need the sun legendary pokemon. I have been scouting gts for them. XD Current hunted shines are shiny alola ratatta(my favorite of the alola pokes), poliwhirl, and shiny pichu.

I went for Sun because I liked the legendary the most, although I really love Lilligant and was upset they're version-exclusive (but I've been traded a Petilil so it's fine!).

One of my Kartana is shiny. I repeat, ONE OF MY KARTANA IS SHINY. I AM FREAKING.

Kartana is one of the Sun exclusive Ultra Beasts, and you have to catch four of them for a mission... the only four available in the game, to my understanding, and ONE OF MINE IS SHINY, H O L Y H E C K.

o_o Hang on I thought all Ultra Beasts are Shiny Locked?!?! Man I should have tried SRing for a Shiny Pheramosa if Serebii was wrong.

My boyfriend and I got the pack with both of them, so it didn't really matter which one we choose since we could just trade game exclusive pokemon. But in the end I am playing moon. We decided I'm the spookier one so I get the darker game :p

I thought so too, so I'm like ?!?!??!?!?!!!!!! What?! Maybe it's a glitch????? I'm not even sure. I even double-checked Serebii after having my game off for a bit, and then loaded my save back up, thinking surely I must have dreamed that... but nope, there it is... a shiny Kartana. o______o

I guess, when I think about it, bugs aren't always that uncommon with newly released games like this? I remember a bug in XY where save files would disappear when players would save and turn off their games in Lumiose City for a while, so it honestly wouldn't shock me if something odd like that happened here. I'll just not be shocked if they release an update for Sun/Moon that fixes it in the future. ;w; (even though it does look really cool)

Your probably the first one to have ran into this as no one else has brought that up ._. if not the only one who's ran into this over all. If this was a bug, it would have been all over the place by now I would think.

That said this reminds me of the ordeal I had proveing Shadow Pokemon in Collosem can be shiny. My Apiom is living proof....or would be still if Gen 6 kept her purification ribbon.

Sun

I decided to go with Moon (even though I do like the look of the sun legendary) but I hadn't realized Ninetails was Sun exclusive. Thankfully I have friends with Sun so there will be trading!

I am sincerely loving the move Hold Back, and finally playing a more recent game at the same time as everyone else XD (I kindof fell out of pokemon around Silver/Gold) so it's been a long time.

I'm really loving it so far. I beat the electric trial today, got my hands on ditto's and finally started breeding. Bred myself a bunch of Rowlet's and I'm breeding Stufful right now, hoping to trade some for litten and the water starter.

I got my roommate Moon for Christmas because that's what she wanted, but she didn't know that Ninetails is only available in Sun, so I'm pretty sure she's gonna be crushed, lol.

I chose Moon because I'm a night owl, and Lunala and the Midnight Lycanroc won me over. Although I'm disappointed to be stuck with Sandshrew and Sandslash on Moon, that's what trading is for. I'll trade me a Sandslash for a Ninetails! I also like Passimian more than Oranguru, but, again, trading. Being 12 hours ahead/behind is rather strange/interesting though. I like to play it when it's nighttime in the game because, well, Moon. XD I really can't get enough of the game right now! I'm behind on the narrative, however, because of level grinding so I can beat upcoming trials. :P

I started with Rowlet, too which is strange because actually I always started with Water - I don't like Primarina though so I changed my style this time.
