I have way less than half of the available skins, zap 2-3x a day, and have not yet gotten a new skin. Fuck all these repeats.

I've been trying every day since Moro began, for six days, and still only one new skin, too. There's several I didn't get last year and had the hopes I'd get this year. I lose that hope with every zap. Feels like a waste. This is ridiculous. I might just give up, I'm sick of wasting tokens like this. We need SOMETHING done, if anything to increase our chances of perhaps getting a random new one.

So much support. We really need a way to pay for better odds. I've gotten a couple new skins but none that I actually want. There's 5 that I want pretty bad (out of 13 locked) and I haven't gotten any of them even though I'm zapping as much as I can. Its really frustrating to keep getting the same zaps over and over (or seemingly no zap - is it even working right?).

For me personally, I work forty hours a week. I wake up about an hour before I have to be to work, and go to bed about an hour after I get home from work. I'm not allowed to have my phone at work, and don't work with a pc, so no chance of zapping during the day. I zap when I can. But so far, I've only gotten ... one new skin for sure, mayyybe two?

Give me the chance to throw sP or tokens - even an obscene amount of them - at this "problem" and I will.

/edit All of that said, for me personally, I'm just after a "no-repeat" option, not really looking to get any specific.

There's a balance between making an activity challenging and making site users frustrated. I think the odds against getting a new skin is definitely out of balance.

It would be great, after all we have something to help with hexes and finding minions... We need something similar for the Zapper... either something that give a better chance to one not own yet or reduce time / price

Even though I have 2 of the newest skins already, I would love something like this. Because other than those two I've just gotten old ones I already HAD. I really want an old one that I don't have yet (Little Gray) but it feels impossible. And I've been zapping like 4-5 times a day, every day. :x

Bit odd that staff is not on the same page with themselves.

The waivers becoming normal CS items again is niceish, but it's seemingly reminded people they exist and thus only spiked their price (they were ~8m + far more in shops when I wrote the OP).

I'd still really like to see something non-CSC related done as well.. and announce it (even in a general 'Elucid has tweaked the zapper and thinks you'll like it' sense) if you do it. Every tiny scrap of luck I have keeps making me wonder if it's been done xp

The first half of Morostide is more or less done, I am zapping like crazy (yes, even when I wake up at night, call me funny idc) and I still only keep getting skins that I already own. This is frustrating as hell.

It's great to see the waivers in the cash shop again, but the thought of spending thousands of csc for waivers to reduce the zap cooldown, and only receiving duplicate skins, is something I'm just not OK with.

I, for one, am saving my funds until we hear from staff about an option on this.

I think I've got about 3/4 of the zapper skins, but the rate I'm acquiring new skins doesn't match up with the ratio I'm left with. I think I've managed to get in about 20 zaps since Morostide started, but only two of those have given me skins I didn't already have. 1/10 when it should (ideally) be 1/4 at this stage. It's starting to feel a bit futile.

My experience has been the same as yours. I had great luck last year -- as I should have since I had very few skins prior -- and virtually no luck this year. Something is either wrong with the way they figured out how to "randomize" zaps, or they deliberately made a token sink. I suspect the former -- they usually warn us if it is deliberate.

This season, I started at about 3/4 of the available skins. I am closing in on 50 zaps with a grand total of 3 new skins. About 6% of my zaps were new to me (no repeats of the "new" skins I acquired on subsequent zaps yet) but it should have been more like 25%. And yes, I realize that the odds of me getting anything new will steadily decrease as I manage to acquire more skins. My point is that I should have managed to get many more skins with the thousands of wiz tokens I have spent. I would not mind spending the tokens if I had managed to get something I want, but all of the skins I desire yet are still locked away.

I find myself wishing for a RE like the chance machine... What if I could get a "free zap" RE like the chance machine spin -- one that would guarantee a skin I didn't already have? I wouldn't mind -- even if it meant I couldn't zap again for 24 hours or whatever. I would also happily pay extra & endure longer wait times for this option. Maybe the cost could be based upon how many skins you have left that are still locked? In other words, the more skins you have already unlocked, the more it would cost. I would not mind that option either. Anything really. Just please get me out of this token sink with some new skins! (At least give me 1 or two that I actually want, pretty please? That should be easy since the ones I want now comprise over half of what is left.)

I hope staff sees this and comes up with a solution. Yes, statistically speaking, there will be outliers. Some of those people are going to grumble, of course. There shouldn't be this many people so frustrated though. And remember that there are a LOT of users who will complain privately to friends, but will not post about it in the forums. I hope staff can come up with a short term fix if a long-term solution is not doable this season. I have seen several ideas I like posted on this thread, but I know NOTHING about code, so I have no idea how easy/difficult any of them would be to implement. Just please, let us know you hear our complaints and let us know what you intend to do about them. Even if it is nothing.

I zap 5 to 6 times a day since the event started and 90% of the time I just get repeats (even though I started the event with 18 missing). The RNG hates me. All I'm looking for is one skin and I can't get it.

Maybe, if staff doesn't want to give us better odds, they can reduce the wait time? 3 hours is excessive for such a short event.

Personally, I wouldn't mind paying more for the option of picking the exact skin I wanted because there's two that I'm trying to get and instead, I'm getting repeats upon repeats and ones I don't want at all.

So far I think Ive gotten 2 new skins,I dont know which because its not clear in the skins table,[I made a suggestion that the zapper and the zombies are separated] but none of the 2016 ones. I zap a couple of times a day, maybe more. But Im convinced that I didnt even get a skin when I zapped a couple of nights ago, I always go check my wardrobe, [but we all know what that can be like] and nothing had changed. I'd like to see either a big charge for a definite skin, or quicker times say 2 hours instead of 3.

I finally got one skin that I wanted.

I've gone from 13 missing to 10 missing in 3 days. I've been able to be online a lot and I'm zapping at least 3-5 times a day. (I haven't been keeping an exact record but its probably towards the higher end.) That's an absolutely ridiculous amount of wasted zaps. Pretty much none of the new skins I've gotten will ever be used since I don't really like them.

This is really frustrating. The same few skins seem drawn to me or something. I keep getting those exact ones over and over. I'd pay so many tokens for the skins I actually want.

We pay 400K +15 WT to get a guaranteed experiment for a pet, why can't this be applied to the human zapping. I think I've possibly 2 new skins since Morostide has started. I'm getting so many repeats, I'm getting discouraged.
