Things that piss me off....People who don't tip (in America). Always tip your servers. It should not be optional - that tip is almost their entire salary.

Other thing that pisses me off: People who find it appropriate to say that they know more than I do about my job. I work on the prescription benefits side of health care and I regularly get doctor's offices, pharmacies, nursing assistants, patients or people close to them who USED to be nurses or nursing assistants, people who've taken care of their mom for so long that they basically count themselves as a nurse - and they all want to tell me how to do my job, and to ice that cake they love to see me as some un-educated hick that's beneath them just because I work at a call center (no lie, I had a man once insist that he had an associate's degree and that made him more more qualified to do my job then me...I have two Bachelor's degrees). Then the ones that REALLY piss me off are the people who make bad decisions for OTHER people. I've cried three times at this job (I started in September) because of that situation. It sickens me when people are so ignorant that they hurt themselves and others.

- omg nothing is worse than 'you people.' my work gets a lot of the 'you people' because people think we are the ones who decide the costs of medications or the copay costs or which medications are included on their insurance plans. Which...to keep a long story short, we don't decide any of that. I understand when people are upset about those things, but pulling out the 'you people' isn't going to help anything. My favorite is 'you people just want me to die!' I've heard it so many times that it doesn't even phase me anymore, and that is really, really sad.

(And on the topic of not knowing where people are, I used to set up transportation for qualifying medicaid members - that is, people who didn't have access to their own transportation - and omg the amount of people that refused to give me the damn address they were going to. Like 'I want to go to my doctor's appointment.' 'Ok....what's the address?' "ITS NEXT TO THE WALMART." 'That's nice, I live on the other side of the state. You will have to provide me with an address or call back when you have one.')

and that's just the short list XD any day I look at the news I find something else to be miffed over, but that's life innit?

Bass. My down the street neighbor plays his music pretty loud. He starts this at 11pm on any given night. It used to be so loud I could hear the lyrics from my front porch and the bass anywhere in my house. I could hear it over my headphones and over the TV. Like I actually turned my TV up as loud as it was possible to do and could still hear him. Called the cops on him twice and he responded by yelling threats at my house so I called the cops on him again and he's been pretty tame since then. He still has his nights though and admittedly his actual music is quieter, just the bass is sometimes still too loud. But certain noises in general too. Some I like. I like rain and storms, and fans, and hearing a distant train while I'm lying in bed is strangely comforting. Other kinds can take me from zero to 100% furious pretty quickly.

I work retail so anybody who steals pisses me off. People who take my things out of the cart I'm using and leave them lying on a shelf so they can take the cart piss me off. People who quite literally drop shit on the floor because they decide they don't want it piss me off. The cashiers have bins. You're supposed to give them the things you don't want. Which in turn helps prevent the store from looking like shit and people trying to get something for a lower price. They don't get the price of course but then they get to leave angry for either looking stupid because they didn't realize or getting caught in lie. Any morning I walk in and find piles of product lying on the floor because the person who handled them thought it was appropriate to leave them there instead of putting them back on the shelf literally in front of them piss me off. People who open a bulk package of underwear/socks/shirts/even maxi pads and steal one or two. Not even steal them, people open them to look at them and leave them lying around the department. If it's in a sealed package you don't open it. People don't like buying things they know have been returned or opened. Unless they think they can get it discounted and 99% of the time they can't. They do the same thing with the shoelaces, curtains, and tablecloths too. Let me include the numerous bottles of lotion, hand sanitizer, and hair gel that people help themselves to to get a quick and free refresh in the middle of the store as well as the people who decide to use our carts as their personal garbage cans. Sometimes they like to clean out their cars in the parking lot before they leave. Many times it's old bags of McDoanlds, boxes from things they bought in the store but didn't want to take with them, diapers, and once I even found a gigantic head of broccoli. Sometimes they leave their trash sitting around the store too. The store is basically these people's personal litter box.

On my way home from school I used to hit this traffic light. Almost every single day. Almost empty road and the light is on a sensitive sensor but almost everyday at about the same time I was coming to the intersection somebody would pull up to it and change that light. It was always just that one car and it would piss me off because the speed limit on that road was higher and I'd be driving decently fast having just gotten off the highway. It would break my momentum and it was sudden so I'd have brake harder than normal. It would take just a second for the car to pass and it would turn green again almost immediately. Really it's the momentum thing that pisses me off. Coming to a full and complete stop and then suddenly accelerating again with little to no time in between. It doesn't bother me if I have to sit at the light for a minute or two though.

Being told that being a teacher must be SO EASY.

All those vacation days? Unpaid.

I love my job and I love my kids, but I didn't get into this profession for the money or the vacation.

Nothing makes me angry faster than people insulting or hurting the people I care about. People insulting me hurts but as soon as they start something about my friends and family my rage level skyrockets till I'm seeing red and I can't calm down for hours.

It's not what pisses me off, but who. My mother-in-law, that's who. She's done so much to me over the last year that I can't really put it here without it being ultra long and ranty. Let's just say that I'm obviously not good enough for my fiancee. Everything I do is wrong. Every decision I make is wrong. I've got a painful condition called fibromyalgia but she thinks I'm making it up to hide the real problem: my addiction to painkillers. Which isn't true, of course. I'm in so much pain with my condition. People can't understand it, unless they have it themselves. She just doesn't understand it. I'm lazy, I'm terrible with money, I don't treat my fiancee right, blah blah blah. This is just the tip of the iceberg...

I hope that at least your fiancee is supportive and stands up for you. My ex mother in law was pretty much the same and though I'm not gonna say it was the reason I got a divorce I have to admit that my life improved enormously since she's not a part of it anymore, lol. I used to have acid reflux and all sorts of stomach disorders that are competely gone since I don't have to listen to her crap anymore xD

Goodness I got so angry reading your post, and the one about trump! Haha, completely agree, it's been a stressful year for America.

Anyways! Disrespectful people definitely get to me, especially being disrespectful towards someone who did nothing to deserve it. I COULD NEVER be disrespectful to someone, even if they're were rude to me. I've let it slide a lot because being rude to someone literally ruins my day. Occasionally if someone is way out of line I have no problem putting them in their place.

I have a lot of things (in no particular order and not all of them; numbered just because)

1). People forming an opinion on/talking about something before they know enough about the subject and then trying to educate other people on it

2). Anti-sjws AND sjws (need a healthy medium, people...don't be one or the other)

3). People making assumptions about how I feel (probably the biggest one and tied with number 4)

4). Drumpf and Pence

5). When vegans/vegetarians try to force their lifestyle and dietary habits on people who don't want a part in it.

6). When people try to force any aspect of their lifestyle and/or dietary habits on anyone who doesn't want a part of it.

atm, the things that are pissing me off the most are:

  • people who can't take care of their pets. don't have the money to take them to the vet, get them food, etc.? don't have pets!! i've been in a place where i had next to nothing but i made sure my cat got what she needed. if she had to go to the vet i made sure she got there! when you have a pet you're responsible for it. it relies on you. i'm so angry that there are a lot of people who don't take care of their animals because they just won't or they can't afford to and if you say anything about it everyone gets upset and they make you out to be the bad guy. uh, no, people who don't take care of their pets are.

and no i don't give a damn about this being classist. animals are living creatures and need to be cared for. if you don't have the money or resources to care for them then you can't have pets. it's not discrimination, it's about animal cruelty. it's cruel to let animals suffer because you can't care for them.

  • people who are just so ridiculously stupid and talk down to others. i have a coworker who was working with me last night and i was about ready to flip. she is into natural things but not in a smart way... in the "i read something on facebook about how CHEMICALS are bad so you are stupid to buy things with chemicals in it!" way. we were talking about styrofoam/packing peanuts and i mentioned a company i buy from who uses puffed rice as their packing peanuts and before i could even finish my sentence she said, "that company uses CHEMICALS in their products, THEY'RE TERRIBLE! DON'T BUY FROM THEM!" i said, "okay, i'm going to keep buying from them and also what do you think a chemical is?" she couldn't tell me. i said, "water is a chemical" and she got so upset and she said, "water isn't a CHEMICAL! ugh! you know what, i'm not going to bother explaining it," and wandered off.

water is a fucking chemical.

also natural =/= good and chemical (whether in layman's terms or not) =/=. nightshade is natural... should i eat a bunch of that? IT HAS TO BE GOOD FOR ME BECAUSE IT'S NATURAL RIGHT?

I will love you forever if you trade me:

I know I've posted in here before but the latest and greatest gripe I have right now is "entry level" jobs that require at least two years in that particular field already. They keep using that term but I really don't think they know what it means.

Ungratefulness. You ask me a question? Fine, if I can I'm going to answer. But it's not fine if you don't even have the time to say thank you.

Besides, I despise people who make a mistake but put the blame on others. No, your ass is not the door to paradise, thank you very much.

Today in particular. All this madness for a football game. Mind you I'm no fan of sports. There was no point in going anywhere, on account of the crowds. I have not even turned on my TV so as to avoid the blatant slew of programming.

I think my distaste is enough to make me the enemy of a lot of people.

Old, and obsolete.
