Sorry for the slight shock :O There weren't many new items released yet and I already saw some wearing the newest one and didn't want to force them to repeat an item. Maybe next week there is going to be a new Melody item as the challenge!

Volume. I tried to hint at it, but I love to add extra volume to wigs via hair salon. Looking forward to what you can come up with!

To be honest, I use these challenges as an excuse to try items I've wanted to use for ages xD But these wigs are so cute! Just wanted you all to try them with me.

You are already looking great! The hat lies perfectly on the wig (often a problem with hats that they cut into parts...) and the pink is so cute ❤️

sorry, somehow I didn't see your ping until today... I was using the regular wardrobe, and it was telling me I didn't have one of the items. I know that's wrong because I was using my wardrobe, not the 'all items'

It might be that the cache hadn't caught up but I do remember like... Last month or the month before, my wardrobe wouldn't load a specific item and claimed I didn't have it. :( It might be a teensy bit bugged out. The 3.5 that GAs are testing is working much smoother so worth a potential shot.

I will probably try out the new wardrobe next time, I hope it works well! I haven't been able to use the salon in a very long time, and I miss it :(

Oh my gawd, the salon is so much better. Honestly. It's like a cleaner version of the oooold one with the hex codes, and works pretty quickly with changing colors/styles. I think Keith pushed an update so streaks show up correctly? Its much nicer than the V3 salon, especially for a WIP wardrobe! I'll miss it when my GA expires.XD

Here's my entry. I've never worked in monochrome before so I wanted to give it a shot!

This was a quick one for me, I like these wigs a lot. But the male one, as usual, needs more love. Also, this is a penguin themed challenge. Someone here needs to be wearing a tux. Or at least a suit.

Also, I don't get enough opportunities to include otters wearing top hats in my avatars, so I couldn't resist. I like the monochrome, that's a cool idea and a good use of completely black skin. Especially the tiny penguin. I also like yours -- red, black, and white is one of my favorite color combinations.

Sigh, so much for entering the challenge. I managed to concoct what I thought was a pretty good outfit using the male wig, and then when I tried to save it, the site decided that I needed a very ugly white... I don't even know, some sort of hairstyle that I CAN'T GET RID OF thrown underneath my whole outfit and making it just look ew.

Man, that sucks so much. :c I think I know what you mean though. I suppose you've tried going into the salon in v3 and clicking the remove hair link at the top of the page? That might fix it. There was a link that used to fix it too but I can't find it at all, tried to search for it. I know I've posted it before hmm.

:/ Yeah I did. I tried putting on the bald style, and removing the hair, and nothing seems to be helping. Somehow I got it removed on my current HA (I think), but every time I try to work with the style I had created for the penguin wigs, it's there.
