Anyone had any trouble joining the # stylefile group at all recently? I've had someone get in touch saying they're unable to and I'm not 100% sure why.

i just checked and it looks like the group is set to invite-only, there's no button to join or request membership or anything.

Ah yeah that's what they suspected! Well, the group owner is totally inactive, but might be able to change it for us. (I can change the permissions for # stimulate so I assume it's the same) :)

I remember that I joined the stylefile group last year, and I needed to be accepted in order to receive the pings. Maybe it's the same thing?

This is what I see! There's just... not a button. I've never seen that before, no clue why that's happening because even with invite-only/closed groups, there's typically a red bar saying that it's invite-only/closed? But an admin should be able to change it if that's the issue, admin powers are the same in every group afaik, so I bet can get it figured out! (on a side note i really like this challenge/group in general!!)

Oh, this is an exciting development! I need to work on my HA skills these days... I haven't uploaded to Style File in so long an with Halloween looming, this week's item is so inspiring. Looks like I have a new project!
