I think a little wrong in that the team doesn't get an advantage for how many people have decided to join it. ie in your scenario Blake has got 15 players and only 10 are contributing, Saggitarius has 10 players and all 10 are contributing so it's just like most things where the team with more active members would win.

that was my concern too! but I reasoned that that's the challenge of it otherwise it would be up to numbers alone if everyone could just do the tasks on their time.

I think as a team we should be just super at pinging to make sure we get everyone's attention for when it's time to do a new activity.

So, just to be clear, no need to do anything but wait for an event ping for our group and maybe hold off on earning food until our food bar starts to drop?

Ah I believe I understand. I was a little concerned. So in theory if 15 players from team A has a similar score as team B with 7 players, than there will come no winner or no loser? And if theam A collect 25,000 points with 15 players and team B collect 14,000 points with 7 players, team 7 wins in this example, because their average score is still higher than from team A? I like that kind of system. :D

People should also try to check it. I mean, if everyone is just waiting for others to ping and never checks... You get what's implied.

So just wait for a ping that says there's an obstacle, then complete it? Hitting the 'forward' button is confirmed not to do anything?

I think we should figure out if the task times are evenly spaced so we can try to be online when the tasks need completing. (IE, every 2 hours or whatever.)

Also, if I'm understanding correctly, that bar at the top of the page will show an obstacle if it pops up? Is that right?

The "Forward" button is simply a quick page refresh. That's all it does. =]

Okay! I'll check back every now and then to make sure there's no events and that food is all well and good :D

Yeah, imo the button is just a way of refreshing or, if it serves a purpose, it'll be a future one and does nothing much now.

so the " You have completed 2/5 activities today. " doesn't reset at midnight, the "today" means plot days. last year, each step came out every 2 or so days, so that's how long a plot day was. this year it'll probably be about the same? so if you don't have 5/5 by midnight tonight, do not worry :)

Really? I hope so. I would feel bad for anyone who is asleep right now if the plot days wouldn't last 2 real life days. :)
