To bad it wasn't averaged by players on each team. I think they have a lot more people on their team, so makes it a little hard to keep up.

If our whole team could just give 25 items we would have the lead! No lazy members allowed! :)

How much are you typically paying for a single item now? When it started, I was paying ~800 sp, but the mystery box is generally more in the 4-6k range.

There have been so many events where they've done this. I've been on losing teams so many times because the other team won with a lower score due to the staff averaging things out.

shaunathedead I have been on the losing team to because of it, but at least it keeps it fair. Just my opinion though.

What I'm saying is they should be doing it for this one too. If they did I bet Team Gold would win for sure. Blake may have more members but a bigger portion of our members are active.

Honestly, I'm not going to be too upset if we don't win this. We already made it to the end of the trail first, which gives an extra point, and our team seems to have done fine keeping the food supplies up. The 10% slower food loss would be nice, but if we have the same pace that we did yesterday? I feel like we'll still be fine.

How did they get so far ahead? I don't understand the scoring , are those the actual # of items donated? doesn't seem possible.

Team Blake got stuck for 20+ minutes last night due to lag striking while they were in the middle of an obstacle. This may be the only reason we pulled out ahead. I agree that Wesley is not crucial but there are bound to be other recruitable NPCs. What if we can't get any of those either? There are bound to be some with much better and more crucial traits. If Blake gets them all cause they have more members we will not stand a chance.

Kinda how I feel about it, tbh. Unless food starts to run out quicker the further up we go, which is possible. Even then, I never saw the bar go any lower than maybe about 90-95%. It's really easy to bring it back up again.

, I definitely understand where you're coming from. I may be too overly optimistic, but I'm hoping that staff wouldn't leave it super unbalanced for the entire plot.

Additionally, part of it may be timing. There was an hour or two where we had the lead, and then we lost it. It may just be due to less active Saggi members on at this time, and more Blake members. shrugs I'll still actively work and do my part (SPENT SO MUCH SP SO FAR), but I won't be miserable if we miss out on too many.

Between the constant lag and errors, buying from the mystery box and the donating process is getting infuriating especially since I'm more than willing to drop way over 10mil. 😑

All I'm hoping for is fairness. We got to the campsite first so I don't mind if they take Wesley. Guy creeps me out anyway; on his art his head looks too small but on his avatar it's definitely too big, wtf? lol. I'm not a huge fan of these "pit the site against each other competitions" anyway, why can't we all win?

Some people have expressed interest in making the team thread private. When I made this thread I wasn't an admin of the group, so I didn't have the option. What are everyone's thoughts on locking this thread and making a new one in the group forums? The group has already been changed to invite only, and I will also be moving # AU to invite only. I will ask the plot GUIs thread to put a link to both groups under our info if it's not there already.

Ok so we're currently 10k points behind with donations, but I wanted to take a moment to remind people that the scores are probably averaged, so we may not be as far behind as the scores imply.

We had the snowman building contest earlier this year, and if I remember correctly the scores were calculated as something like a team average x10? Or x100? I can't find it now, but I'm pretty sure someone on staff confirmed it.

So basically we might be able to make up the 10k difference with far fewer item donations (because I'm pretty sure our team is smaller). Don't get discouraged!

Just a head's up: The Ice Vibrant Marble and the Amber Vibrant Marble are available in the Pawn Shop under 3k sP and can be bought multiple times!
