sigh okay. It's pretty - but then I am happy it's not brown, which would make it worse....
Okay I am staying up this night. Only two more days to go 'til my holidays.
Or 2 1/2, going to a fair with a few of my senior citizens on saturday (but then I am not getting payed for that - it's still fun!) Eating Reibekuchen and baked fish. Not sure there is an english word for Reibekuchen XD

Wow! Still a 25k lead! That's awesome! If anyone still needs one, I have a GA to give. :)
I'd love any friends from here as well. :) I'm so glad we're all so helpful and supportive of each other <3
I am casually going around and friending everybody who says they are cool with friends, and encourage anyone to do the same with me: I have been constantly saying how much I love all of you guys, and would love to have you on my friends list <33
Thanks for the update. :)
Truly this is little by little training!
Also, ah, I live in the English countryside, hence my wobbly internet. It's lovely, but technologically inconvenient!
That actually surprises me. I was expecting like a small town in a huge desert or something, you'd think the English countryside would still be within mobile range even if there weren't that many internet connections in a converted barn!
I hope the scenery and the sheep made up for a little of it, though. I remember riding in a friend's car through the countryside and being so delighted about the baby lambs (THEY BOUNCE!) I ended up leaning out of the car window yelling "SHEEEEEEEEEEP!"
I'm so sorry. That must have been extra horrible, watching him bounce back and then just get sick again. Poor lil guy.
HA. You're not wrong. ;)
Whew okay, all quests done! I'm so glad I chose Team Blake! :) Anyone can friend me too!
I can confirm internet shakiness of the UK. My recent weekend away was near the Lake District - super popular tourist destination - but there was no internet, wi-fi or even a TV in the place we stayed!
Well done with your questing! :)
You'd be surprised. I grew up in New England, and there are so many small towns that just don't have enough people to warrant great cell phone coverage. Heck, even Boston is bad in some areas because of all the old buildings that cell service doesn't travel through haha. I had absolutely no cell phone coverage in my last apartment.
And oh my god I love sheep. They're so cute. My mum is from the West Indes and they have sheep (the not fluffy kind) and goats running around everywhere and they're SO cute and silly. They bound around in their little groups. Adorableness <3
I love that everyone just wants to be friends :') I think y'all are great. I'm probably not keeping up with the thread enough to really get to know anyone though, I suck

oh it is indeed lovely! But the lack of internet and phone reception made me sad :( I couldn't even phone my husband to let him I know I wasn't dead.. lol.. I'm a klutz like that
yeah there's definitely places in the rural UK where you can't get anything.. driving around the Scottish highlands can be fun since I always lose reception :c All the sheep and cows! The weekly drive down to England involved donkeys too! DONKEYS.. so exciting!
Yeah... you could tell he was taking it worse and worse..broke my heart :( poor bb
Dude, today's my 9 year anniversary on Subeta. Sweet! :D
Congrats on everyone getting their quests done. Not much time left!
That's crazypants. I studied abroad in Lancaster which isn't so far from the Lake District and...okay, so I guess I've only spent time in middle to large sized cities and towns, but it blows my mind still that there are relatively close, populated places that don't have connectivity. I mean, England isn't THAT big. xD
You're right, I definitely would be. Then again, my buddy and I play a phone game and we're out in all the small towns doing activities, and it's surprising sometimes how, in the middle of Main Street Of Fairly Large Small Town, the connection just dies. There's our next challenge, making sure everyone has equal access to connectivity. Says me, who is not running for office nor in charge of the world.
Sheep are not that cute, especially close up, but ohgodthelambs are so adorbs. I could not get over it. Still can't, and it's been years since I've seen them.
What kind of sheep are the not fluffy kind? Aren't they all sort of fluffy?
Congrats on your Subetaversary!
Yeah, phone reception is certainly interesting round here too. We sometimes get messages hours after they were sent!
Did you see any llama farms? They're fun. We spotted a couple of camels too! Most random...
Yeah, it's not big, but the technology infrastructure is very shaky. Towns and cities are generally OK, but outside of there, you have to hope you're travelling with people on different phone networks as there's always some that won't work!
