Yay for a 2 hour break. My hands feel like they're going to fall off, I'll be back when the next thing starts.
Lol so much for another couple of rounds against him. Oh well, at least it's over now and I can stop having this feeling of guilt for being in bed instead of sitting in front of my pc.
Took a quick break and the boss is gone D: Oops..
- Yeah, I wish it was more of a passive drop too. I mean, I guess they wanted to make sure it would survive at least until the 6 hour-ish mark, but seeing as how the first two didn't even manage to drop to half health in 5 hours, they probably could have divined how much health they had to shave off the last one. Hopefully they learn from this boss, because overall I like the idea of the new system they tried to implement here, but the execution wasn't the greatest.
Time for a nap and a shower, see you back here at 6!
grats to whoever got the final blow, hopefully they're a blake team member!
I got bored a few hours ago and was going to come back in time for the end..but lost track of time, boo.

lol
I left to grab something to eat for a few minutes and it's gone....
don't wanna see a boss so soon ;o;
biting for all strains!
I guess we'll see how everyone feels when the staff releases the plot prizes for battling. Until then, we'll see.
I did like the three separate battles though, even if the times weren't ideal for me. And I do like having the prizes be given out based on your effort in one of the three battles instead of it being cumulative.
Staff can't please everyone, so we'll see what happens. Good luck to all; we'll see what the prizes are like so then we can start Keelhauliday! (Which I'm obviously not even a little bit excited about :P)
The 'stone wall' block was super frustrating, didn't manage much damage with my pets anyway, but blocked ones felt wasted.
I suppose the plus side to this method is more time zones can get involved...?
Yeah, true. I like that they're willing to change things up to ensure more people get to participate, but...I dunno. I feel like we've lost part of the plot fun. I hope there's a middle ground in there somewhere.
LORD MORE EVENTS AROUND THE CORNER
I'mma need to ice my wrists! xD
Oops, I posted that image on the news comment and it got removed :X Didn't mean to harm anyone (but I should have used a spoiler, duh)
yeah they said "it would last as long as it would last" and "subsequent changes would be applied to the other bosses as well" so I thought the guardian would be at 300m health or something at least but it seems like they didn't do anything they said they would. At least this works as future reference.
And now quests to make up for all that healing money spent a plenty.
Pretty sure they were referring to frequency/type of attacks and how the challenger actually worked, not the health itself. Either way, I'm glad it's over xD
- I think by 'subsequent changes' they meant changes like the massive HP drop they applied to the first one, they applied it to the 2nd and 3rd too. Not that they would change any of the stats. Like, I think that they realized too late that the first one was not going down nearly fast enough to fit all three into 24 hours so changed it right at the end, and to make it fair, did the same thing to the others, dropping it's HP right at the end.
I like that there is a break before the rest of the plot. Hare-chu is still there... that's always been my one big beef with the boss battles, all the 'flunkies' disappear immediately after the boss is gone and I never have enough time to beat the higher individual challengers before/between boss fights. I hope that that is something they intend to continue to have.
I did really like that there were three different timeslots for battling, it allowed me to participate, even if it was against only one opponent. But I'm over boss battles in general. It's no fun kamikaze-ing until a thing is finally over.
and there's still the Cozcoatl, an undiscovered opponent (whose loot you can find on the first post but I can only remember this item) as said on
- Right, I remember seeing that.
I don't think a plot has ever gotten me so tired. 6pm is midnight my time, and I've been staying up and solving the puzzles right away, and now the time slots for the bosses were midnight for the first (stayed up to get at least a couple of fights), 8 in the morning (arrived at work, but was sneaking in for a couple of fights), and 4 pm (only got home at 6pm, but was able to get some fights in as well, not as much as I hoped though). And now too curious to see what's next, so I'm staying up again till after midnight to see what's coming. I need sleeeep!
This exactly. I got called away for a bit and there was still tons of HP, came back 20 minutes later and he was gone. I don't like that at all.

What was the question?
6pm here is 11pm UK time but I keep staying on 'til 1.30 UK time to get plot things done.
Power naps will be the way forward!
