LOL, why do people think we team gold members joined Saggi just for the gold? I just happen to be the one who dislikes Blake, but really adores Saggi. Besides I don't have the mood for adventure (because I'm sort of preparing for a RL one), so the shorter time spent on this event the better :P.

Blah, I joined Team Gold. I didn't like Blake from the first news post. Saggi got a press release, which probably took time, and had a big thing all planned out. It was probably very important to him, and he'd likely spent a good few hours writing up what he was going to say. He literally was doing his own thing, not bothering anyone. Then this random bursts in on his interview, cuts him off and goes 'Y'know what?! Screw this guy, come work for me for no pay!' and immediately sets up his own team and starts shit where there was no shit to begin with.

I just really don't like Blake. That's not being awkward, that's being the other a word. He reminds me of that one kid we all know and love who sees you doing something that gets attention, and goes 'hey look at me I can do that- but better! :D'.

Well, usually you get to choose the side you like more, in this case it seems you have to choose the side you dislike less (or more if you go for intentionally unlikable comedy characters :D).

Without further details on the nature of the plot I'm not super comfortable with either side, so in the end it comes down to my preference for Saggitarius as, like, a character. I wasn't around for whatever plot (plots?) Blake was involved in previously but he's always seemed pretty unpleasant in a way I can't tolerate. Saggitarius is kind of my...preferred asshole archetype, I guess?

I love money, but Blake offered me adventure. So it's AAAAAAAAADVENTURE TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIME!

Kidding! I'm pretty happy for something to do! Just hope it's not going to be beating down on Islanders; I'd rather go after the pirates. After all, those jerks didn't let me into their Port for ages because I refused to toss in that Daisy Memento thing because I have zero problems with the whole sacrifice bit. It was unavoidable! So rude! [sub]of course, they're also going to be doing their Trading Shop later in the month so maybe I should just keep grudges to myself for a while... ha.[/sub]

If it weren't for the team bonuses, I think I'd go with Saggi because he hasn't been involved in a plot before, and that's a unique opportunity. I've been on Blake's team twice already. I also really like Saggi's aesthetic, and wouldn't mind some purple and gold plot prizes.

Butttt, being able to adventure longer sound like it might be a really useful bonus? I wish we knew how much of an effect that's really going to have, because it almost sounds like Team Steele will have an advantage. Hopefully it's balanced properly. Like if we're digging or something again and Steele's team gets a lower cooldown, Team Gold had better make more progress per turn to make up for it. Some extra sP doesn't really balance it out if it's a race to some goal. :/

I also wish we knew when exactly signups close. Not having a real date is making me nervous I'm going to miss it, but I don't want to rush.

I'm so here for more archaeology tools!! I always wanted to be a zoologist, I even worked in the zoo for few years, but things became messy and I went to my 2nd love.. and now it's kinda a nice mix between the two.. well the only different that I'm dealing with animals that died thousands of years ago lol

Now I'm more in the lab dealing with bones and someone else is doing the excavations and brings me the bones lol

Dealing with the aftermath of excavations somewhere indoors is the dream, really. Fieldwork has it's moments, but I don't miss the blisters, the weather, aching back muscles, trying to work out if that really is a different shade of brown from that other bit...

I'm not sure what I'd have done if not archaeology. There's not much else that lets me play with the things people threw away a few centuries ago.

I think the teams is just for a short period of the event and later we will all be together.. It doesn't really seems like a competition, more like to divide the user to 2 different ways of tasks but same goal..

I really hope you're right. I feel like we just had the snowman contest, and I'm still a bit emotionally drained from that (even though I was on the team that came last). It'd be a nice turn around if we all have to work together, or at least just work separately in a non-competitive capacity. Everyone's already hyped up and the banter is flying, and I'd be amused to see it all come to naught.

I usualy don't like team vs team competitions because I always loose xD In some sense, at the end we all will fight the big boss.. I don't think they'll do 2 big bosses for each team..

We will see today probably what is going to happen :D

I chose Blake and kinda regret my decision now bcos longer adventure time PLUS my friends all seem to have chosen Saggi so now I'm all alone. I want an emergency exit...
