I got this message but there is nothing to click on. "You've run into an island monsoon. The wind and rain makes travel difficult, and slows you down."

Can we clear up the monsoon? Are we really ahead at this point?

The bar is showing that we are ahead, but so far all I can do is hunt. It is saying there is a monsoon, and I don't have the option of moving forward. How are we supposed to do all of our 5 tasks?

Their caravan suddenly moved backward for some reason. But the monsoon is rather annoying.

I encountered another one a few minutes ago but it cleared up after a few seconds.

I would say that there will be a few obstacles designed to slow us down and give others in different time zones opportunities to aid the adventure on this "day". So sometimes there won't be anything we can do but wait, however frustrating.

Could be. Maybe that's also why we're getting a monsoon at the moment. They probably encountered something as well but made them go behind instead.

yes you can still hunt with a monsoon event

it cleared and says "Your team is making way toward your next destination!" i click forward but it gives the same message. do i keep clicking it til something happens?

Is anyone old enough here that remembers the game Oregon Trail? This sorta reminds me of that.

Maybe you can't go forward until you have your 5 activities?

From what I understand, the caravan is automatically moving forward all the time. Clicking the button just refreshes the page. From refreshing, we can see if we get an obstacle and that's when we interfere and bring down the obstacle to help the caravan move again. During the monsoon, I think we were still moving forward but just at a slower pace.

Ah that makes sense. The only thing I've been able to do is hunt for food. Has anyone been able to collect energy?

when you collect food you basically collect energy. by keeping the food supplies up, we keep our energy levels up

It seems that the energy is always full as long as we have food. If the food drops below 50%, then energy will start depleting. I'm also pretty much just hunting as well hahaha.
