(what about adding the Pools to the Daily news bit?)

i mean, i have it bookmarked on the side of the site, but i'm worried i'm gonna slip up one day and ruin my perfect streak ^^; an alert would help ease some anxiety!

I don't think it's that hard to remember just set it as a bookmark on the side of the site and it's a few clicks and that's it

Well, the first thing I do when I get connected to Subeta is going to the pools, but I don't mind an alert for the bathhouse just in case I forget about it.

So for those who want an alert... you just want an event to happen at midnight every night that tells you "Go to the bath house"?

My question is: What is the advantage of an alert, over the existing forum group? The forum group will also give you an event when it's pinged. Why should staff make an alert for this when the forum group exists and already fulfills that role?

well for one thing it'd be a separate event (probably "alert," like scratchcards and i think random and so on), which would be nice during notification-heavy events like survival or masq or vesnali when people are clearing whole stacks of pings and "other" notifications like kisses or dance invites.

personally, i'd rather have a dailies widget with links like was mentioned earlier, or a bathhouse-only widget like the coda caves widget (which also has both its own ping group and its own alert in addition to the widget and a link on the news page), but an alert wouldn't hurt either.
