Fade winced slightly at Millie’s () cough. “Yeah that doesn’t sound very fun. Er, the cough not the ball. Wait it’s a costume party again? What’s the theme this time?” His scratched his head. “I’m really out of the loop.” His mind began racing over all the possible costumes he could try and put together on such short notice. But the idea of who he should attend with hadn’t yet occurred to him. Being somewhat of a quick learner didn’t mean he wasn’t partially scatterbrained.

"A healer? You really admire them, don't you." Katsumi considered. "Do heaers have to take lots of courses and stuff, like Muggle doctors do? I've never quite been clear on that. Muggles have a whole system with special schools and years of training and degrees, and the have to pass regular exam to keep practicing, but I don't know what the requirements for wizards are."

He nodded. "They save me life, Kat. I wanna repay that someday. Even if I don't do it for long, I wanna 'elp. Dad told me I need N.E.W.T.s in Potions, Transfiguration, Herbology, Charms, and Defence Against the Dark Arts and they all 'ave to be either 'Outstanding' or 'Exceeds Expectations' in order to make the cut. I fink there's more training after too, like interning that muggle doctors do. Mum says maybe I could be an illustrater for the Daily Prophet until all the schooling was done or on the side. But its a good fing all those subjects are me best--except for Transfiguration, i need more work in that."

Millie turned to Fade (), "It's terrible but butter than it was. I hate being sick. I honestly don't have time for this.

"I heard the ball was Halloween themed. I'm not sure if that means we wear Halloween costumes or dress up as something related to Halloween. It starts on Saturday." She felt another cough coming so she took a small sip of her butterbeer. "I hope they bring up some costumes and let us pick stuff out in the Great Hall, like they have in the past. I honestly have no idea what to wear"

Fade tapped a finger to his lips while he thought it over, the trauma of facing the pretend dementor was diminishing and he was glad for the distraction. “Halloween has to be the best time of year, I don’t care what anyone says. It isn’t freezing and there’s tons of free candy.” Not that he really had to justify. “Although I wish they would do a pumpkin carving contest, or like, grow some before and let us cut them up. I bet wizard grown pumpkins would be huuuuge.” He spread his arms while saying so to better demonstrate just how huge. “And they probably have charms to keep the stupid bugs off them, mom and I never have any luck back home.” He realized he was rambling and blushed slightly. "I'm a little partial to Christmas, myself. I love to bake and decorate trees and all that." She finished off her butterbeer, "A pumpkin carving contest would be a lot of fun."
