hi this is the denial for the bear makeup
Your custom clothing Scribbled Bear Makeup was denied for the following reason(s): • OVERLAY: Artwork replaces features and/or edits the avatar base • NOTE: Unfortunately we are no longer accepting any makeup that can mimic closed eyes (including recolors) due to abuse of previous CWs submitted in this fashion. The color on top and the heavy eyeliner below make this quite easy to use as an eye replacement.
i am going to take one shot at it altering the overlay so that it doesnt look so much like closed eyes, as why as try to add some clarification to staff. if it gets denied a second time for a big reason like this one, im afraid i will have to scrap the entire thing, im really sorry T_T

Seriously, we should unite and talk to staff about how we want the end of this restriction. We want to do CW mouths and eyes badly. Ugh. -.-

I'm sorry to hear about the denial. :( I find it kinda odd that this is now a sudden "thing" where they no longer allow these mods as there have been quite a few. If they were abused in the past but still accepted others? IDK how this could be abused as well LOL not to mention no one was told so people could still commission them just to be like JK NO CAN DO.

actually i think the original went through because i made an effort to make it less like closed eyes (dark top liner hueheu) but this one i turned it peach, so theres always a chance it might go through with a dark liner? /crey

- Aw phooey. I'm sorry about the denial but thank you for letting me know. Its a bit absurd to me that they would suddenly up and decide to reject a recolor of all things. If people were abusing this why didn't someone say something and set parameters for these? Good luck redoing it :)

I'm so sorry about the denials. Unfortunately they're right -- people do use a lot of the only top or only bottom makeups to do closed eyes...mostly becaue there's not many closed eyes on site. I don't understand why facial features are forbidden now that body mods are okay, but whatever. sigh It still /really/ sucks. snuggles
