I like to think that Veta has beds of tulips as far as the eye can see every spring!

I <3 these image posting contests!
This one feels very Veta
above are wildflowers, and pink Indian Paintbrush and yellow sunflowers in the foreground for the suncatching woodland basin.
flowers on Oatmeal's horns,
cosmos (above) and echineas (below) came to mind~~
Sacred Lands would be covered in wild flowers, especially during the rains.

I'd like to think that passion flowers might grow somewhere in the Peka Glade
this might be big
I think I will find camellias blossoming by the roads of Shengui Guo c: flowers of oriental grace and beauty! <3 Can't remember when I took the photo below, but found it in my phone ^^
This photo took me ages to resize

Shadowglen (formerly Shadowglen Graveyard) occupies the eastern half of the central continent of Subeta bordered by the Darkside to the west. Dense forests surround the small village area...
Onyx Odyssey ^

This intriguing color is unusual among spring bloomers.

Intensely purplish-black. Glossy foliage, deep green to purplish-black emerge in spring, and keep very attractive through the seasons. Hellebores make excellent ground covers and are deer resistant.
Black Baccara Rose v

veta: i think you would find daisys and other flowers that this girl is wearing/holding.

Day 1: For this event I tried to think what plants could possibly survive in the harsh climate of Darkside.
Digitalis species thrive in acidic soils, in partial sunlight to deep shade, in a range of habitats, including open woods, woodland clearings, moorland and heath margins, sea-cliffs, rocky mountain slopes and hedge banks. It is commonly found on sites where the ground has been disturbed, such as recently cleared woodland, or where the vegetation has been burnt.
Depending on the species, the digitalis plant may contain several deadly physiological and chemically related cardiac and steroidal glycosides. Thus, the digitalis plants have earned several, more sinister, names: dead man’s bells and witch's gloves.
(Wikipedia article on Digitalis)
What better plant to thrive in the charred, acidic soil of Meneb than the insidious foxglove? On Earth, digitalis are poisonous plants with vividly-colored, down-pointed flowers. On Darkside, I like to imagine that the radiation from the nearby labs and the magic in the volcanic atmosphere have caused the common foxglove to mutate into something even more sinister. The Darkside foxglove is much like ours, except that instead of having a green stalk, its stem and leaves are entirely black, and the blooms themselves are even larger, with thicker and cloudier petals.

So, looking at Shengui Guo, it seems that the climate is temperate and the area is incredibly mountainous, so I looked at temperate forests and alpine flowers, especially those in China's temperate forests.
I would expect Arenaria bryophylla, known for surviving at high altitudes, to be able to grow everywhere around Shengui Guo's mountains.

Daphne Genkwa is a fundamental herb in Chinese medicine and grows throughout the grasslands in the temperate regions:

And of course, it needs cherry blossoms :D (though I suppose this is obvious from its image)

I am choosing Shengui Guo and the flowers that I think that can be found there are camellias, even simple they are beautiful, and they can have different patterns, that may inspire origami.

I think flowers in the Arctic would look pretty beautiful. Half of the day, the flower would be covered in hoar frost, then the frost starts to dew and drop by drop, a pretty and more colorful flower appears, rejoices, sticks its head towards the sun and absorbs all the precious light and energy. Yet when the afternoon comes to an end and dusk settles again, the flower goes to their cold and diamond sprinkled bed and is nightdreaming until the sun kisses it again.

At the boundary between Darkside and Shadowglen there's a field of corpse flowers. Enough so there's always at least one blooming. It's best to avoid the area.

Surely the Desert Lily is native in Sacred Lands. Also the Scorpion Weed grows in the spring, and the healers have to treat visitors who don't know that this plant is poisonous and tend to their rashes.
I would expect Saherimos to have cacti rather than flowers except for Shinwa, she I imagine with some white flowers that bloom only in her Temple. On second thought maybe the Oracle would have flowers as well. Probably soothing flowers like lavender so she can stay calm while watching over Shinwa.
