Natalia looked over to Theo, "I'd like to see you try." She told him before he asked if she could handle the cave, "Pfft of course! I don't get scared that easily. I say let's go." She told the group as even though she said that she didn't get scared easily that was kind of a lie but not at the same time.

Jonah smiled at Kat, "Of course! And you really don't have to come along. As long as I have music I'm good but thank you for the offer." He smiled before he turned to the duo who had entered, "Hey you guys! How was the drive?" He asked as he smiled at the two. "Natalia just decided for us to go into a cave not far from here, care to join?" He asked the two. Natalia's face lit up as Sling and Fer arrived, "No party is started without you guys!" She smiled before pulling Sling into a hug

Max narrowed her eyes at Kyann as he stood there in silence and then proceeded to play dumb. "You know what I'm talking about!" She stuck out her tongue at him as she stepped forward a few steps. "I hope so, I need to fill my quota." She got out before being tickled. She started laughing as she started to squirm and swat his hands away to the best to her abilities before he stopped. She chuckled as he compared her to the gorgan, "Don't look into my eyes or you'll turn into stone." She kidded. "I would prefer being a siren if I had my choice. You know Medusa was beautiful before being cursed by Athena?" She asked Kyann as she had a phase when she loved all sorts of mythology. She still remembered some things but other things she would have to look up.

Having heard a very familiar voice coming from the direction of the deck, Theo spun around to see Sling and Fer. He grinned at the two of them. “Hey! Glad you two could make it…ten years later.” He kidded though. He was happy to see that they’d finally made it to the beach house safe and sound. He nodded as Jonah invited the two out to venture out to the cave with them all. Then he added on, “Yeah Kyann and Max, those love birds, already have a head start and Nat claims she’s not scared. Of course none of us believe that.” He whispered loudly, shooting a teasing grin at Nat, before looking back over at Sling and Fer. "Come. It'll be fun."

Like Quinn, Sage took a moment to greet Sling and Fer. He was glad to see that they made it safely, and had finally arrived. He nodded his head towards them and waved with a bright smile. “What’s up, you two. Glad you made it.” His attention diverted back to Quinn as she began doing that mind meld trick of hers on him. He remembered the first time she'd tried it on him. It had caught him totally off guard and he'd been confused as to why she was touching his forehead while doing nothing. Well, seemingly doing nothing. He knew better now than to think that and so Sage stayed still while she did her thing. As he waited though, he liked to count the dusting of freckles on her cheeks, imagining himself connecting the little dots as if they were the stars and constellations she’d taught him about.

At the mention of Kyann, Sage’s lips made a downward twitch at the corners. “…I don’t know about that.” At the end of the day, Sage didn’t hate Kyann but he was still beyond pissed at him. The two of them had said some things they shouldn’t have and it's caused their friendship to feel like a landmine. One misstep could easily trigger a blow up, so Sage kept his distance. While he trusted Quinn’s foresight, she’s been eerily correct about things before, this promise she made of him and Kyann making up still seemed hard to believe.

“Look, I know you don’t like me and your brother fighting but I really don’t see things changing any time soon.” He nodded though, when she told him she’d read his future through tarot cards later. “Whatever you want, bright eyes. Just don’t predict my death, please.” He joked with a soft laugh. "As for me not needing anymore of those-" he pointed to the receipt still in her hat "-I'll think about it because me versus the universe? Kind of an unfair fight don't you think? And I don't share well, so borrowing won't work." He said, "But maybe you'd be worth it." He flashed her a cute smile, flirting with her as he usually did. He found it fun and exciting. It wasn't even a conscious effort, and part of him still didn't want to take it seriously. Besides, he doubted she did too. Their conversations were just for fun, as they always were.

"Hello Quinn, it's always good to see you and your connection to the universe upon first glance" Fer smiled. This was going to be an interesting summer if she's already started with the future. "You never need to worry though that's nice of you" Sling smiled before being pulled into the hug by Nat, "Its always as good as ever to see you girl!" She smiled enjoying having another girl around who had a bit of a rebellious streak. "Really let yourself go in those ten years did we Theo?" Sling winked joking. "Always down for an adventure" Sling shrugged with a bright smile. "Awe Natty come on, go get a little liquid courage, you'll be dancing with the cave creatures" she smiled "You know I'm a bad influence"

"The trip was good. We always find the weirdest things to stop at. And you know it never happens unless we get like twenty thousand dance pictures in front of like the worlds largest ball of sand" Fer joked. "Guess I should have been going to school for photography not producing" he laughed. "Oh you're so funny, you really should have been a comedian" Sling shot back, with a very bad joke. "Jokes aside I'm doing very well thank you for asking Kat. I can only hope to hear the same for you?" He asked making a quick side glance at Jonah with a smile. "How has your music been going Jonah?"

Quinn shrugged when he said that he doubted things between himself and Kyann getting any better. She didn't want to seem more upset than she showed. It was really none of her business, but to a degree, it was. "You guys have been best friends since as long as I can remember- honestly you've been around practically all my life, since your mother and my adopted mother were good friends. I just find it devastating that such little things could grow to be in the way of a powerful friendship. After all, good friends are like stars. You don't always see them, but you always know they're there. And you and Kyann have a friendship brighter than any star I've seen. I would not think so lowly of a good thing to happen between you two." Quinn left out the bit about Kyann truly distancing himself from Sage because of her. Perhaps one day she would tell him, but not any day so soon.

A smile played on her cherry red lips as he asked her not to predict his death. "Ah, but that is not in my hands, you must take such matters up with the universe. As far as the sharing is concerned, essentially the universe has been sharing all of these girls you seem to collect with you as well. Reasons unbeknownst to me, but still. We are all being lent out from the universe, when you think of it. It is only once we go back to our home in the soil that we truly return to being only the possession of the universe. Think of it as a guidance for you- people mistake God for the universe. We give praise where it is not meant to be given, for it is not an omnipotent being in the sky who blesses us with life and nurtures our soul, it is mother earth and the galaxies around us. Science can prove this much." Quinn had went off on one of her tangents again, as usual.

Spacey, now fully satisfied with the positioning of her telescope, gently dug her toes in the sand before switching on some chillstep music from her phone, placing it in the sand next to the scope and breathing in deeply. The piercing in her belly button gleamed brightly as she stretched, reaching her hands up, up, up and out towards the sun that shone onto the water. She leaned over towards Sage and grinned cheekily up at him. "By the way, I am always worth it."

Kyann looked behind them and out of the cave, smirking slightly. "Hey, what do you say we spook them all a little?" He said with a childish snicker, cupping his hands around his mouth and yelling loud, ducking behind a rock in the cave before anyone could look their way. "Oh god, no, please don't hurt us!" He yelled, pulling Max behind the rock with him. Sure, Kyann was a very serious person, but he also had a dark sense of humor. "Now, when they come in, let's jump out and scare them." Being with Max made him want to be silly, she made his not so friendly and excitable personality do a total flip flop. He felt like he could always act so silly with her. His eyes twinkled with mirth as he gazed at her, pressing a finger to his lips.

Kat smiled at Fer following him outside. "I'm glad everything is good. You'll have to share pictures later, if that's okay at least," she said, going back to Jonah and waiting for Fer to stop talking. "Jonah, they are double a. Let me know if you do have to go to the store later. I'll go with." She was going to talk to, or observe mainly, before she heard [I]Oh god, no, please don't hurt us!"[/I] coming from the cave. She felt herself panic as she glanced around at everyone. She kicked off her sandals and ran off towards the cave, kicking up sand in the process. Once she was at the mouth of the cave, she peaked in carefully. She stepped into the cave cautiously and looked around. "Kyann? Max?" she called out softly. "Are you two okay?" Kat ventured further into the cave, chewing her bottom lip as her heart pounded in her chest. As it got darker, she rain her finger tips against the wall for guidance.

Upon hearing Katie's voice, Kyann almost felt bad for wanting to scare those not in the cave- he had forgot that Katie would be worried as well. He peeked out from behind the rock, watching as she got closer before grabbing her hand and pulling her down behind the rock and into his lap to calm her, covering her mouth gently so she didn't scream and alert the others. "Shh, Kat, we're playing a prank. I'm sorry. I forgot you would be so worried, but now you're stuck in it with us." Kyann grinned boyishly, letting his hand off of her mouth and catching his fingers in her long hair. "Sorry for so quickly grabbing you." He whispered, moving his arm away from her waist where he had secured her. "And, for pulling you in my lap, it's a little awkward, I'm sorry." He was laughing quietly out of being so nervous, reaching over and patting Max on the head. "Maxxy and I are sorry to have sent you in a panic."

Katrina walked past a section that jutted out from the wall, hesitating slightly with her hand tracing the wall still. She let out a cry before her mouth was covered as something grabbed her hand causing her to fall. She landed on something soft and squirmed around until she heard Kyann speak as he moved he hand off of her mouth, catching it in her hair. She then shivered slightly from the touch as a blush dusted her cheeks as soon as she realized she was sitting on his lap. She looked back and smiled at him before casting a glance at Max. She (stood? got off?) of him with a small giggle. "It's okay. You just about gave me a heart attack though," she said with a soft laugh. Her blush darkened ever so slightly and she smiled. "And, once again it's find, dear. I rather fall on something soft than hurt myself." Kat was extremely hesitant about calling him dear but did it regardless of how she felt. She looked over at Max again and smiled at the girl. "Who came up with the idea exactly?" she finally asked while fiddling with her fingers slightly.

Natalia looked over at Theo, “And Theo thinks he can impress me.” She teased back before smiling at Sling, “I’m so glad you’re here! And I don’t need any liquid courage to go into a simple cave. We can drink when we get back.” She spoke as she started walking backwards, “I consider you a great influence.” Natalia smiled, “So are you guys coming?” She asked as she looked to the group. Jonah looked over at Fer, “Same old stuff. Just trying to perfect this song I’m writing.” He spoke, “Kat and I are going to perform for you later.” He smiled at Fer "Unless you want a private audience." He flirted before his gaze went over to Kat, “I think Max brought some for the remotes. I’ll go check.” Jonah told Kat before disappearing inside to look for the batteries.

Max looked at him with a devilish grin, “Yes. Nat is going to get so scared.” She smiled before following Kyann and standing beside him, “Somebody help!” She called out before ducking behind a rock with him. She nodded as she loved it when Kyann was silly. She made a motion of zipping her lips as she sat and waiting patiently. She smiled as Katie was pulled into the prank but looked away as he pulled Kat onto his lap. She felt a twinge of jealousy before being pat on the head. She smiled at Kyann. “Sorry about the heart attack.” Max whispered to the girl, “It was all Kyann’s I’m just an accomplice.” She told Kat as she pointed her finger at Kyann.

As Jonah exited the house after finding some double a’s (Max must have hidden the rest or something) he heard his sister’s voice. “Maxine!” He called as he ran past Natalia to get to the cave, “Max, Kyann, are you alright?” He called as he stood outside the cave and looked over to the group. He was worried if something happened to his sister or his friends. Who knew what was hiding in the cave.

Theo puffed up his chest slightly. “I’m confident that I can impress you.” He said smugly. He wasn't sure how yet, but now he was determined to prove her wrong in the best way possible. He was waiting for everyone to get ready for the walk towards the cave when he heard a clear, cry for help. Theo shot right after Jonah, expecting the worst as he ran towards the cave. “Max, Kyann, are you guys okay?” He called as he entered the mouth of the cave. He couldn’t see anything but darkness and heard nothing but silence. This instantly made him nervous. He swallowed thickly. “…Kat?” He’d notice that the girl wasn’t among the group either.

Sage smiled softly as Quinn went off on her usual tangent. “Interesting.” He commented. He wasn’t very religious so he wasn't apart of any denominations. If he had to choose a label for himself he supposed being agnostic would be the most accurate. With the universe as large and complex as it was, who knew what was really out there, so he was open minded and willing to hear out any ideologies. It was just he preferred something tangible. “I can get behind some of that. The Earth does provide a lot for us. We should be thankful about that.”

The chill music filled the comfortable silence that fell between them. He bobbed his head slightly to the beat as he gazed off in to the horizon, blinded by the ocean glittering underneath the sun like jewels. He slid his shades back down over his hazel eyes just as Quinn spoke again. He returned the grin, just as cheeky as hers, but didn’t reply. Everything in him knew that she was worth it, but it wasn’t something he was fully aware of yet and so he didn't speak on it.

Suddenly, he paused. “Did you hear that?” He asked. He could have sworn he heard someone call for help, but figured he was wrong and brushed it off. Until he saw everyone rush off towards the cave. The panic cause Sage to flash a concerned look to Quinn before he too went running off to the cave. "Is someone hurt?" Was the first thing he asked as he joined Theo at the entrance of the cave. He knew that Kyann and Max were in there and if either of them got hurt, or worse, he'd be devastated. Especially since he and Kyann were fighting. He didn't want the last argument he'd had to haunt him. "I don't know." Theo answered, sounding uncertain and just as worried.

"Does anyone have a flashlight?" Sage asked. The sun illuminated the beginnings of the cave, but further down it was harder to see. Theo quickly opened the flashlight app on his phone and began leading the way in to the cave.

Quinn glanced behind her and down the beach at the cave when she heard the cry for help, and although part of her had a feeling it was Kyann pulling a prank, it was when she heard Max's cry for help that she jolted upright and took off down the beach after everyone else. The cave was dark and damp, and she felt a jolt of fear course through her. She was worried- if anything happened to Kyann, Max, or Kat, she didn't know what she would do. She stood at the lip of the cave, peering in, fearful of the steps it would take to go further in the dark. Fear fueled her as she snuggled herself under Sage's arm, blue eyes wide. "Kyann? Katie? Max?" She called into the darkness, looking up at Sage and chewing her bottom lip. "I faintly can sense their auras but... nothing else?" She seemed unsure as she peered around the cave in the little light that the flashlight provided.

"Yeah, all me, Max is just forced to go along with my evil plans." When he heard talking outside of the cave, he held a finger to his lips, drawing in his breath. He could hear his sister- just his luck that she wouldn't tell everyone it was a prank, she was too scared to read auras correctly! Perfect. He waited until he could hear the footsteps getting closer, Slowly shifting so he could peer out from behind the rock. He caught a glimpse of his sister underneath Sage's arm and his blood boiled. "Boo!" He yelled, jumping out at everyone, causing Quinn to flinch and bury her face in Sage's chest. His anger faded away with the belly laughter that was bubbling from him.

Kat smiled at Max gently. "It's okay. It wasn't your doing Max," she said with a light giggle. She then rose her eyebrows in surprise before glancing at Kyann. "Really now? How exciting." She smiled slightly at the two before she watched Kyann hold a finger up to his lip. She felt bad since people were worrying about her. She chewed her bottom lip as Theo and Quinn called out for the three of them. She sucked in her breath, glancing at Kyann and Max before relaxing slightly. Her heart pounded in her chest before hearing them draw closer. She watched Kyann shift to peer around the rock. She leaned a little closer, ready to jump out with the two of them. "Boo!" Katrina yelled as she jumped out after Kyann and Max. She saw Quinn flinch before burying her face into Sage's chest as she laughed with Kyann. After her laughter came to an end, she smiled and bit her lip glancing at the group in front of them.

"I was just getting it out there" Sling laughed going to follow the girl. Catching up with her, "Don't have to ask me twice, I'll find a room later" she ran her hand back through her hair trying to fight it against the little bit of ocean breeze. Fer was able to keep most of his cool while talking briefly to Jonah, "Oh I'm sure it's record ready" he smiled in response. His cheeks flushed a bit after he disappeared into the house. Looking around then to only realize the rest were leaving.

Flashed out of the slight daze that the sun twinkling on the water but the sudden spirt that was the guy he was just talking to. "Well this could go two ways" Sling said picking up pace seeing the panic and hearing the call. Fer too ran off after the rest leaving the two "starcrossed lovers" on the deck. Only to be shortly joined by them.

"No just phones," Fer too turned on his phone light and followed Theo in. There didnt seem to be anything to threatening in the cave as he flashed around his light. Ducking here and there thinking this we're going to hit his head. Until the collective round robin of boos... "I feel we should have guessed" he said his light flashing towards the trio in surprise. "now they maybe should have to stay in the cave overnight" Sling said as suggested punishment. It wasn't a real suggestion, was just one of those in the moment empty threats. She still stood at the mouth of the cave with Nat and the others.

Natalia rolled her eyes at Theo's comment before hearing the cry for help. She ran after everyone and treaded carefully into the cave behind everyone else. Who knew what was lurking in the cave but at the same time she wanted to make sure her friends were okay. She saw the look of concern and worry on Jonah's face. She could only imagine what he was thinking right now.

Jonah had feared the worst as Katie wasn't with them either. If Max had gotten seriously hurt how could he explain this to their father? Jonah could only imagine what their dad would say. "Maxine!" He called again and heard nothing but his own echo.

Maxine felt a little guilty as she heard the worry in her brother's voice, along with the rest of her friends. When Kyann jumped out, Max followed suit letting out a "boo" as well. She noticed how Nat had jumped and yelped before grabbing onto Theo's arm. She quickly let go of it and glared at Max who was now laughing.

"That wasn't funny." She glared at the girl as her heart was racing from the scare. Jonah flinched as the trio exited their hiding spot. It didn't scare him too much and he looked at Max relieved that she was alright. "Don't do that again! I thought something happened to you guys." He spoke as he didn't want to sound too worried and over protective of his sister. "Who was the mastermind behind this?" Jonah asked the three. "As much as I like to hear the ocean I will not be staying in a cave. I can listen to the ocean from the comfort of my own bed." Max smiled at Sling, "I'm glad to see you guys have joined the festivities!" Max greeted Fer and Sling.

Sage flinched as Max, Kyann and Kat all jumped out from behind the rocks. Before he could think, he quickly pulled Quinn closer to himself in a protective gesture that he soon found out was completely unnecessary. As soon as his mind caught up, and he realized that nobody was actually hurt and that this was all a prank, he was highly unamused. He glowered. “What the hell? Are you kidding me? This wasn’t funny!” He could usually take a joke, but something about this rubbed him the wrong way. He’d really thought someone had gotten hurt. His eyes were especially heated as they landed on Kyann who laughed as if this was all so hilarious. He opened his mouth to make a retort, but shut himself up, not in the mood to start another argument, surprisingly. Scoffing instead, he turned around and walked out of the cave to head back to the beach and away from that nonsense.

Theo jumped, ready to fight whatever had popped out of hiding until he realized it was their “missing” friends. “Of course this was a prank.” Theo sighed, his limbs still vibrating from adrenaline. He looked down to Nat who was clutching his arm as if her life depended it on it. Agreeing with her words as she let go. This really hadn't been funny. He wasn’t as angry as Sage was, but he wasn’t laughing either. He was still too wound up to. Well, at least everyone was actually okay. Even if the joke was kinda in poor taste. “Yeah seriously who thought of this?" He frowned. "Anyways, I’m thinking they should stay overnight in this cave too. I'm sure if there's something or someone else in here it can keep them company. Or maybe it will decide to prank them too!"

[-viola] OOC: just letting everyone know that I'll be gone from Thursday until Sunday later this week. Before then, I'll figure out something temporary to do with Sage and Theo so that the RP can continue without me. c:

Katrina looked at those around them, noticing how upset they were. The smile was wiped off of her face shortly afterwards as she really chewed at her lips. She flinched when Sage spoke, feeling the anger roll off of him, before glancing at the others. She moved back slightly to hide herself, guilt eating her away. She started to mess with her finger as she looked at Kyann and Max. "I'm sorry," she said, barely above a whisper. "I'm really sorry.." She chewed on her lip some more before glancing at the two in front of her. After collecting her nerves, she moved back up to the two in front of her, still feeling horrible.

Lets her hair hag loose a majority of the time, unless she knows she's doing something very practical or if she's deep in thought - keeps a spare black hair tie on her right wrist. Personality: Eve is quite a reserved, quiet person who loves nothing more than being behind her Polaroid camera and capturing all of the memories she shares with her friends. She is fascinated by pre-modern photography, especially the Daguerrian Process. She has a love of antiques and homely shops that sell quirky things for around the house and loves candles and incense or anything with a light scent. She is a little apprehensive about joining in with social activities sometimes, preferring to stay on the sidelines and take photos of whatever catches her eye. History: Eve's mother died when she was around eighteen years old. Her and her mother were extremely close so Eve took the death pretty hard and ended up dropping out of college, where she was studying Law, because she couldn't handle all of the stress. She lived with her father and brother Tate but things were far from 'happy families'. Her father turned to alcoholism after the death of his wife and often lashed out verbally and occasionally physically at both Eve and Tate. Eve tried to spend as much time as she could away from him. She moved in with her then boyfriend Jonah and they lived together for a while until they had a rather messy break up which resulted in Eve moving back home, only to discover that her father had left Tate on his own. She turned to photography to escape from the reality that she deemed to be harsh, believing that she’d been dealt a rough hand in the card game of life. Personality: The opposite to his sister, Tate is outgoing and can be obnoxiously loud at times. He was studious and inquisitive from a young age; always questioning things he'd see in his everyday life and wondering why people acted the way they did. This led him to study Psychology - his main topics of interest being mental disorders and social psychology, specifically how children interact and get involved with their experiences of the world. He also has a passion for music and in his spare time can often be found playing around with chords on either a guitar or ukulele. Tate loves old cars and wasted no time in saving up to buy a 1967 Chevrolet Impala. He enjoys being around his friends and thrives on being sociable and involved in whatever his friends are up to. History: Tate was not as close to his mother as his sister was so when she died he was able to continue with his studies and graduate, by using music as a distraction when his father became an abusive alcoholic. He took extra shifts at the music store after his sister moved out to bring in more money to his household, often working long nights and midday to keep the bills paid and food on the table. He resented Eve for a while after she moved but when Eve came back after a tough breakup he quickly forgave her and helped her to get back on her feet. As a result the two grew closer and now there isn't much that they won't do together. OOC: Basically Kyann and Max had lured people to the cave and Katie got pulled into their pranka nd they just scared everyone and everyone is kind of upset. Before that everyone just arrived and Natalia brought groceries for the friends. :D

Kyann felt almost guilty for scaring everyone, but he felt worse with how they all seemed so upset, and it was badly affecting Katie. He knew he could brush it off easily, and so could Max, but Kat could be sensitive, and he really didn't like the wide eyed and sad look she had- he never did, it broke his heart. "Hey, look, it was my idea. Don't blame it on either of these two. If you wanna be mad, be mad at me. But not Nat, or Max. It was just a joke. No one is sleeping in the damn cave and I know you'll all look back and laugh at it later on." He instinctively stepped in front of Katie, shielding her from everyone's glares and angry words. His eyes softened when he regarded how she oh so quietly apologized. "No, Kat, I'm sorry. And Max. If I had known everyone would be so pissed about it I wouldn't have dragged you into it." He pulled Katie into his chest to hug her, looking apologetically at Max. "I honestly thought they'd laugh. That's my fault. Neither of you deserve all the yelling. I'll take it full force." He led the two girls out of the cave, "I promise, they'll all get over it."

Quinn had left the second that Sage had walked away, following after him, but her shorter legs could just barely keep up, practically scampering alongside of him, looking up at him with wide eyes and chewing her bottom lip. "I don't understand why you're so angry!" She reached up and touched his arm, blue eyes wide as she regarded him. "You must know how my brother is- he means no harm. Just has a strange sense of humor. As I recall, you both do. There is nothing to be so angry about, Ti?n qi." Quinn had frequently referred to Sage as Ti?n qi, though she always refused to tell him what it meant. It was a slight pet name, something like Bright Eyes. It meant, though she would never tell, "Breath of Heaven" in Chinese. "Come, we can maybe read your fortune inside, perhaps get away for a little while?
