Kyann perked up visibly once he heard Katie's voice from the other room, pleased to see her when she so graciously appeared. She almost immediately brightened the room when she walked in, but glancing to Max, he felt the same thing. This was why it was so confusing to him- why it was so hard to choose between the two of them, and why he made no move in either direction. He didn't want to hurt anyone. To avoid the tickle in the back of his throat he coughed into his hand, giving a small, but nontheless sweet, smile to Kat. "And so you are, eh?" He crossed the kitchen to pull the girl into a hug, same as he had done to Max. With Theo being the next to join, Kyann kept one arm draped around Kat and the other around Max, wondering why his heart was beating so hard against his chest. Was this what being torn apart was like? He stepped away from the two girls to greet Theo, exceptionally excited for this to begin, now that everyone was-

His teeth clenched as he heard the name of his ex best friend- Sage. He stole one glance over at his sister who was just barely peeking over Theo's shoulder, having ducked in his arms for safety after he had heard the one word he had been hoping to not hear all summer. Kyann met the eyes of his sister, his equally blue ones burning into hers, as if he was questioning if she knew. Quinn ducked her head under Theo's chin in response, not wanting to catch the fire in her brothers gaze any longer. "Good to see you, Theo." She mumbled into his chest while Kyann clenched and unclenched his fist. This was not what he thought this summer would be.

"Be at peace, brother, the summer is still young and you must not let this pointless fued-" She was cut off in speaking by Sage himself waltzing into the kitchen. Quinn pulled away from Theo, figuring she no longer had a need to hide, and leaned against the island instead, one hand on the tektite cystal strung around her neck. It was meant to help manifest intentions and strengthen her aura, giving her a more spiritual connection to the earth and the vibrations within.

Kyann kept his cool the best he could once he was side stepped by Sage, doing so by placing himself back in between Katie and Max. They were the only way he would calm down- he was pissed that his sister tricked him. And now, the attention he laid on his sister made him uneasy as well. He couldn't help but snort as he referenced to Quinn as 'bright eyes'- he knew she would be a total sucker for that. And maybe this was why he was so angry. Sage was a flirt- Quinn was his sister, naive and far too into spirituality to see through him. No amount of aura reading would help her.

And Kyann was right, it did melt Quinn inside when he addressed her. She could feel herself growing shy under his gaze, but refusing to waver, her fingers fell from the stone around her neck. Bright eyes- the old nickname made a smile tug at the corner of her lips. "Namaste, Sage." Her blue eyes never fell from his as she raised her pressed palms to her lips and bowed her head slightly. "Always a gift from the stars to see you." She gazed up at him from beneath the brim of her sun hat, looking so small in front of him. "The stars are aligning, you see." She hummed softly.

"I'm actually going to go settle in. And I think I need some fresh air anyway." Kyann interrupted, unable to resist the urge to punch Sage in the face any longer, so he knew he needed to get out of there. It was clear why he was leaving the room, he just hoped he didn't come off as rude. He sulked out of the kitchen to get his bags and find a room upstairs. If Quinn thought for one minute he would be making up with Sage she was loony.

"Well, in that case Natty dear, I will help you bring in the rest of the groceries!" Quinn ducked around Sage, throwing a sweet smile over her shoulder at him and a captains salute before following the other girl outside. "My my, there's so much!" She said with a laugh, grabbing as many bags as she could, which was about 5, to lug them back in the house. When she returned, she placed the bags on the counter and started unloading. "Thank you, for inviting us, despite the little issues. I really wanted to come out here, the vibes are so good."

Max looked from Sage to Kyann, "You want some company? I don't want you to get lost in the area and I have sun chips." Max smiled at Kyann as she walked out of the kitchen gesturing the bag of sun chips, "As reliable technology can be it can't show you the best spots." She spoke before adding, "Of course it's been a while since I've been here but I have a vague memory. This of course is a one time service, you'll have to pay me for any more tours of the area" Maxine flashed him a flirty smiled.

"Thank you so much!" Nat beamed at the help, Jonah of course rolled his eyes at his sister and went to distract himself form being protective brother by putting groceries away. "It's not a problem! Max and I figured it would be a nice thing to get together before the summer ends. Also my dad's friend was cool with it. He said that whatever alcohol we finish we must replace." Jonah replied to Q, "I'm glad! It's going to be a great summer!" Natalia beamed.

Kat laughed at Natalia's remark about shopping, returning the hug. "Would you like me to join you next time, dear?" she asked with a warm smile. She faced Jonah and giggled some. "Of course I did Jonah. I would find it very difficult to get by this summer without my keyboard." She called out a hello to Theo before she was pulled into a hug by her crush. Her smile widened as she returned the hug. She was just getting comfortable by his side when Sage walked in. She smiled at him and watched Kyann leave. She let out a soft sigh before walking towards the front door. "Hi Sage! I hope your drive up was safe," she called to him before she stepped outside. She grabbed her keyboard from her car and walked towards Natalia's car. "Hey Nat. Are there any more bags I can grab before heading back in?"

Theo’s mouth dropped in to a small ‘o’ as tension suddenly thickened the air. He swore he could feel the heat from Kyann’s glare on his back as Quinn used his body as a human shield to hide from her brother. He was momentarily confused on what triggered this until he realized this probably had to do with him bringing up Sage, but hadn’t Kyann known the other was coming? There was no point in getting angry now. "Good to see you too, little Q." He said, still a little lost on the drama happening between Sage and Kyann. He knew it was something between them that they needed to settle, but he hoped they resolved things soon or things would be more than a little awkward whenever the two were in the same room as everyone else. Especially if fists were suddenly thrown.

Sage chuckled, finding Quinn’s words sweet. “Well hopefully the stars have something good written for us this summer.” Unbeknownst to himself, his eyes grew affectionate as he gazed down at her. Something about Quinn kept him calm as if the serene vibes radiating from her were absorbing in to him and keeping him relaxed. That’s what he liked about her. Nobody else in their group of friends had that sort of effect on him. So, he was cool as a cucumber even as Kyann stormed off like a Drama King. Good riddance.

“I’ll help put the food away too.” Sage then said, putting his bags off to the side to free up his hands. He’d find a room and unpack later once Kyann wasn't upstairs. He began helping Jonah unpack. “We’ll probably be replacing a lot of alcohol then since Theo drinks like a fish.” Sage laughed as Theo indignantly retorted, “Hey! I’m not the only one! Dude, spread more lies and I'll throw this apple at you.” Theo threatened with the first object he grabbed from a nearby grocery bag.

“What are you 12? You can take that apple and shove it up your-” Sage cut his words short as he ducked suddenly. The apple flew through the air, barely missing the girls and hit the floor with a sad splat.

Sage just shook his head as Theo began cleaning up the unexpected applesauce, and turned his attention to Kat, calling out as she left to go outside, "Yeah, it was thankfully safe travelling."

[-viola] Kyann had not been expecting company, so when he turned to see Max trailing after him with her bag of sun chips, he was a little taken back, but pleased nonetheless. "Well I'm not sure what you expect me to pay you in." He teased back, but followed after her. He like Max for how flirty she was- it was fun and endearing. "I guess I could pay you with the gift of my presence, or maybe in compliments. Like, I really like your hair, Maxxy." He teased, tugging on the end lightly like he was a small boy, picking on the girl he had a secret crush on. He watched Kat bring in her keyboard, sparing a gentle smile to the girl as the pair walked out of the house. He would be sure to listen to her play later, it always gave him such an amazing calmness.

"So, you vaguely remember the area, how are you so sure we won't get lost?" He said with a chuckle, shoving his hands in his pants pockets and walking alongside of her, feeling much better than he had when he was in that kitchen with Sage. "I'm sorry for how things went down in there. Quinn didn't tell me he was coming, and I know her heart is in a good place for it, but I don't particularly enjoy being tricked. I had hoped that this would be the one time I wouldn't have to hear his name and I could get away from it all. Though, there are a few reasons I'm glad I came." Namely, Katie and the girl walking beside him, but he kept his lips sealed about it.

Quinn had of course caught how his gaze turned into something more affectionate as he looked at her, and the shift in his aura was apparent. She had high hopes for this summer, she had been getting vibes from him with the way he always flirted with her that he wanted something more from her as well. Of course, then he would go off and flirt with another girl, and then her thoughts would flip around. She shook her head, refusing to allow this to mess with her head. A clear head was a level one, after all.

The apple whipped past her head, just barely missing her before landing on the floor. But Quinn, being the being that she was, started laughing uncontrollably, the sound almost musical. If one thought her voice was soothing, her laugh was another thing coming. "The apple did nothing to you! Such a waste, boys." But there was amusement in her eyes as she laughed. "You're both acting like children now, are you proud? Even your auras are gleaming with childlike properties. Neither is better than the other." She teased them, but her gaze was resting shyly on Sage, eyes locking for a mere moment before she bowed her head to focus on the groceries in front of her. "Awh man, veggie burgers, you're the best, Nat!" Most people forgot that Quinn was a vegetarian, so she liked when people remembered. Especially since she really didn't want to make a half hour run to the closest store that sold food she could eat and drive half an hour back.

Max smiled, "Well I never pass up the chance for compliments or being in your presence." She looked at him as her heart fluttered. She fell in step besides him, "I'm sure of my abilities." She smirked, "Like at the end of the beach there is a cave that's pretty cool." She informed him. Max frowned as she was upset seeing two of her friends fight, "That's okay. Maybe she had high hopes that this trip would resolve the conflict between you two." She told him sincerely, "Remind me to never throw you a surprise party." She kidded to lighten the mood. Max smiled, "I hope I am one of those reasons." She told him in her best southern accent. "So where would your tour guide for the meantime to take you?" She asked as she gestured to the road before them.

Natalia smiled at Katie, "I would love that!" She beamed before she watched the girl go out, she watched Jonah as he watched Kyann and Max walk off. She rolled her eyes before hearing her name from outside, "No, Q and I got them all! Thank you dear!" Natalia called trying to ignore the tension that was there and left. Natalia was startled by almost being hit with an apple, "Seriously?" She deadpanned as she looked at Theo, "I was going to make a fruit salad and now I'm one apple sort." She complained to really no one. "There is nothing wrong with drinking like a fish. I know for a fact that if there is any rum, Max and I will be having to replace it multiple times. Though it will be mostly me." She commented before getting out paper towels and handing them to Theo. "I aim to please!" She smiled at the girl, "I bought some more veggie options too! I don't want you to starve." She told the girl as she gestured to a bag that had more vegetarian options in it.

Jonah stood there and watched everything unfold. "As long as no one breaks anything I'm fine with throwing food outside." He commented on the throwing of the apple. He put away most of the things that belonged in the freezer, "So what do you guys want to do first? Aside from listen to Nat complain." He teased before Natalia swatted his arm. "Max brought movies and games, and then there is the beach." He told the group,

Theo cleaned up the small mess he made from the apple before leaning against the island counter to peek in to Quinn's vegetarian bag. “No wonder you’re so small, Q! You eat like a rabbit.” He teased. He perked up at the mention of the beach. “The beach. Definitely.” Theo answered Jonah, before asking, “Do they allow bonfires too because that’d be pretty sweet idea for tonight. Maybe we can even get a performance out of Jonah and Kat?” A bonfire on the beach, good food, alcohol, friends and good music sounded like the perfect way to start off their first night.

Sage hummed in agreement. “I’m down for the beach. I’ll have to change my clothes though.” He was currently wearing black jeans that were ripped at the knee and a black muscle tee. Despite the relentless summer sun, he loved his black. It was pretty much the only color he owned except for maybe various shades of gray. With most, if not all of the groceries already put away, Sage headed back over towards his neglected luggage. "Well, I'm gonna go find a room and unpack."

With that said, Sage headed upstairs and found a room with a double bed and a beautiful view of the ocean. He opened the window to let in some of the fresh ocean air and took a moment to lean against the window sill. He was determined to have a good time and he figured that was possible as long as he and Kyann steered clear from each other. Maybe he'd ask Quinn what the stars had to say about things. Even though he didn't understand most of it, he enjoyed hearing her talk about the stars, auras and mother Earth. He pushed away from the window. It didn’t take him long to put his things away and to change in to blue denim shorts and a worn gray tie-dye shirt. Then he headed back downstairs to meet up with everyone.

Theo quickly took the time to put his things away as well, finding himself a room with a pretty sweet view too, before running back downstairs with shades over his amber eyes. He'd decided on a change of wardrobe and was now shirtless with a pair of swim trunks. "Let the fun begin!" He grinned.

Kyann chuckled a small amount at the mention of never throwing him a surprise party. "Well, I wouldn't be mad. That's a good surprise, especially if you were to throw me a party, what with all your amazing planning skills. Compliment number too, just let me know when I'm all payed off." He teased, looking towards where her hand gestured, a small smile playing on his lips. "Maybe, Maybe not. Whisk me away to where you will, milady." He playfully bowed and stood straight again, looking over to the side of the house and where a boardwalk led down to the beach. "Maybe we could check out that cave, see if anyone else wants to join, I'm sure they'll catch up if we walk by." He would have been perfectly fine alone with Max, but he didn't fully trust himself to not complicate things more. He took her hand to gently tug her over to the walk, before letting go and taking off with a laugh. "I'll race you there!" He said suddenly, just glad to be away from the drama.

"You must eat like a rabbit to be cute like one!" Quinn piped up, wiggling her nose with a little giggle. "Beach, ah?" She asked, doing a little shimmy with excitement. "I'm definitely down for some jams later, I should set up my telescope while it's still light out!" She practically bolted up the stairs without so much as another word, scooping her bags up on the way. The small blonde girl chose one of the two bed rooms, figuring someone else could room with her if they wanted. Perhaps she would invite Kat to once she made it back downstairs. She wiggled out of the romper she was wearing, kicking off her shoes and rummaging through her bag to find her bathing suit. The blue eyed girl discarded her hat onto the bed for the time being.

When she came back down the stairs, she was dressed in a tribal print bikini, her hat placed back onto her head, but she had left the wedge flip flops upstairs, her pink painted toes bare against the wood, the sun and moon tattoos on the tops of them now uninterrupted by fabric. Under her arm she had carefully tucked the bag that carried her telescope. Without the height advantage that her shoes had given her, she was even smaller than before. "I know." She said as she passed Theo without him even saying anything, he didn't have too, he always picked on her height. She winked back at him, wiggling the fingers of her free hand. "Whoo~ psychic powers!" She trailed out to the beach, setting her telescope down in what she believed to be a good spot, having stuck her thumb out and up to the sky, spinning a couple of times with her cheeks sucked in. She was mumbling to herself at this point, trying to decide exactly where to place it.

"And, if the Sirius star is right there, Mars would be over... here.... so..." Finally, she put her hand down and nodded. "Perfect." And, she moved the telescope stand about six inches to the right. Just as she reached down to pull the scope from the bag, Kyann ran by her, almost knocking the stand over, but it shifted just slightly. Quinn put it back in place, shaking her head and going back to setting it up, placing her hands on her hips when she was finally satisfied. "Perfect, again."

Maxine smiled, "You have a ways to go, good sir." She kidded before letting out a chuckle as he bowed. "And so you shall be whisked to my cave of wonders." She smirked as she was enjoying the alone time with Kyann. Maybe on this trip she would get what she hoped for and as much as she wanted to spend time with her friends she wanted to hang out with Kyann the majority. Her heart started to beat faster as he took her hand, "Be prepared to loose!" She smirked as she caught up to him and started to run beside him.

Jonah looked at Theo, "Bonfires are allowed. I am so down for a bonfire and some music." Jonah agreed with Theo, "Are you down for giving these people a show?" He asked Kat before disappearing upstairs to change into a pair of black swim trunks as that what everybody else was doing. Natalia finished putting away the last of the groceries before joining everyone with putting on their swimsuits. She went upstairs with her luggage and picked a random room and changed into her sea green bikini before going downstairs to join everyone else outside. She watched as Max and Kyann ran by. "Sorry Q!" Max called as Kyann had almost knocked over Quinn's telescope. "Where are they running off to?" She asked the group before looking to Jonah as he knew the area better than anyone. "In the direction that they are heading in, looks like the cave we visited when we were kids." Jonah told her.

"Okie-dokie! Sounds good," she called back to Nat before walking inside, setting her keyboard and accessories next to Jonah's guitar. She giggled a little bit with the ruined apple before perking up slightly about the mention of the beach. "I think it'll be fun!" Kat felt excitement bubble within her as she started to make her way back to the kitchen. She watched Quinn bolt upstairs with her belongings with a small smile before peeking around the kitchen, grabbing a bar of chocolate with a content sigh. [I]"Are you down for giving these people a show?"[/I] She turned to face Jonah while nibbling on her chocolate bar. "I would love to! I need some batteries or a long extension chord though Jonah. Otherwise, I'll accompany you with voice."

She trailed behind him, stopping in the living room looking at her stuff. [I]I should probably change into my bikini..[/I] she thought picking up her things. Kat looked up and saw Quinn setting up her telescope. "Hey Spacey," she called walking towards the small girl. "Do you know of any rooms that are available for me? I sorta need to change." She watched Max and Kyann run by and felt her stomach drop some before shaking her head and focusing back at the girl with a smile.

“Ah, you know me too well!” Theo grinned toothily at Quinn as she passed by, shutting him up with her psychic powers before he could make a comment on her height. He supposed his lighthearted teasing was becoming pretty predictable. He couldn’t help it though! He thought his responses were pretty clever and funny if he said so himself. He'd probably still be teasing her when they were all old and gray, and when she'd be even shorter from old age.

Theo walked out of the house and on to the beach and the inner artist in him swooned. The view outside was gorgeous. He stood still where the sands of the beach began, staring out in to the horizon where the blue waters and an equally blue sky met. “I should have brought my board.” He tsked, staring wistfully at the waves. “To show off to these beautiful ladies, of course.”

Sage, who hadn’t been too far behind him snorted at the comment. He quirked an eyebrow at Theo, the dark hairs raising over his black wayfarer classic shades. “Didn’t you just get out of a relationship?”

“And?” Theo ran his fingers through his dark, wavy locks, sounding a little disgruntled over what sounded like him being judged. “I’m not gonna mope around or anything and waste my summer.”

Sage shoved his hands in to his short pockets and shrugged. “…I’m just saying I doubt any of these girls will appreciate being a rebound but you do you, Theo.” He began walking away in the direction of the petite blonde setting up her telescope. He wanted to find out what bright eyes was up to now. The knowledge she knew fascinated him.

“I didn’t ask for advice and says the one who has a phone filled with numbers of girls he never even calls!” Theo retorted to Sage’s back, but Sage just waved his hand over his shoulder, unbothered by the comment. Yeah he had more than a few numbers from the opposite sex, but it was all in good fun. It was never anything serious. His last relationship had been over a year ago, so he wasn't hurting anybody.

Sage stopped short of Quinn and her telescope and peered at it curiously before looking to her. “Anything special supposed to be in the sky tonight?” He asked.

Quinn looked up from her telescope and over to where Kat had been calling from, a wide grin splitting across her face. "Oh, of course Katie! I meant to tell you, you should room with me! I chose the last room upstairs on the left! My Saturn bracelet is hanging off the doorknob!" She saluted the other female with her two fingers, just barely catching Theo and Sage's conversation. "Theo, from reading your palms a few days ago- I'm sure you remember- Love is written in the stars for you. But you cannot force it nor go looking. Be yourself, it is the best person to be." Upon hearing the last part, about all the phone numbers Sage had from the opposite sex, she quirked an eyebrow. Of course she knew this, but this meant she would need to tread carefully with him. She slipped a small piece of paper out of her bikini top, which she had swiped from Sage's pocket earlier, feeling an interesting vibration coming off of it. Admittedly, she was amused to see a phone number on it.

When he approached her, she went back to fixing the telescope, humming softly to herself. "Well, Saturn will be at it's most visible at the peak of night tonight. Given there is no city lights around here, we should be able to make out the majority of the Canis Major, though it's easier to see in the Winter time...Ah, and perhaps Jupiter, if the clouds are kind to us tonight." She glanced up at him, standing straight, a coy smile playing on her lips. "I'm psychic you know." Quinn grabbed his palm, tracing the fortune line with her dainty finger. "And your fortune line says you're missing something!" She held the paper up high to show him what she had. "Or, I'm not psychic at all, I'm just taught well to be sneaky like a snake by our Goddess Earth." She placed the paper under the ribbon of her hat, beautiful blue eyes twinkling with mirth. "But your palms say you won't miss it, you have me!"

Kyann fell back a few steps, allowing Max to pass him, mostly because he didn't know where he was going, but also because he stopped to turn around and wave at Katie. "Hey!" He called back to the group. "We're headed to the cave! You guys should join!" But his eyes were still locked with Katie's. Equal treatment, he was determined. He turned back around to catch back up with Max, skidding to a stop once they reached the opening of the cave.

"Oooh, dark and spooky, eh?" He teased, wiggling his fingers in the same way that Quinn tended to do. "Hello!" He called into the cave, his own echo making him laugh. "When did you guys find this place?" He asked, ducking in and smiling back at her. "This is pretty cool, Maxxy. Just like you. Oh, Compliment ! Again, let me know when I can stop kissing up." He teased.

"Saturn bracelet hanging off the doorknob. Right! Okay. Thank you so much beautiful. I appreciate it." Kat saluted the girl back with a grin, barely catching the two boy's conversation and giggled slightly before catching Kyann's wave to her. She blushed slightly and waved a little at him, maintaining eye contact the entire time. [I]"Hey! We're headed to the cave! You guys should join!"[/I] She nodded ever so slightly, a silly smile on her lips. She shook her head ever so slightly picking up her bags again. "Thanks again Spacey," she said, pretty sure that she wasn't heard. She walked into the house again walking up the stairs, eventually finding the bracelet Quinn had mentioned. She opened the door and set her stuff by the bed that wasn't occupied.

She had changed into her bikini and pulled on her bikini slip. She put her sun hat back on and grabbed her sunglasses as well. She smiled at herself and grabbed her sandals before leaving the room. Once she was outside, she looked at Jonah, hoping he still remembered the question she asked him. "Hey. Does anyone know where Sling and Fer are? I just realized that they haven't showed up yet." She looked around the group before settling her gaze on the ocean.

Jonah looked over to Katie before her first question registered with him, "What kind of batteries does it take? I'll try looking around the house and if not I'll run out and get some, especially for you." He smiled at Katie before catching Theo and Sage's conversation. Natalia stood quietly as she listened to the conversation around her. She laughed at Theo and Sage's conversation, "You might be able to impress Nat she is easily impressed." Jonah teased her as he draped his arm over the girl before having it being swatted away. "Takes at lot for me to be impressed." She looked to Jonah who was smirking, "I'll take the compliment though. Thank you." She looked to Theo before looking over to the ocean.

Natalia looked over at Katie as she finished asking about the duo. "No clue! I hope they haven't gotten lost." Natalia answered Katie's answer. "Well, who wants to check out a scary cave?" Natalia asked as she looked at Max and Kyann in the distance, "Or we can swim in the ocean." She added it as an option.

Maxine smiled as she stopped for a moment to admire the cave, "Heard some other kids talk about it when Jonah and I were here. They were telling stories of what lived in here, a siren, a witch and some kind of sea monster were the popular stories." She informed them as she entered behind him. "You know how kids can be with their imaginations." she spoke. Maxine stopped for a second and tapped her finger on her lips with a playful smirk on her face, "I think you can stop kissing up for now. There are other ways I can be persuaded." She flirted as she started walking in front of him.

“Yeah I remember. Thanks, little Q.” Theo said, indeed remembering that she'd read his palms and gave him an optimistic reading. He could only hope it were true. He then turned to Theo and Nat, who’d overheard his conversation with Sage. He smiled, tilting his head to the side. “Easy to impress, Nat huh?” He looked to said girl and gave her a wink. "Well, even if if it weren't true I'm always up for a challenge."

When the whereabouts of Sling and Fer were brought up, Theo shrugged lightly. “I doubt they’re lost. They’re probably planning their grand entrance.” He said with a snicker. “And check out the scary cave? You sure you could handle it, Nat?” Otherwise, he didn’t mind joining Kyann and Max and exploring the unknown. Maybe they’d find something cool in there.

Sage slid his shades up to rest on top his messy blonde fringe. “Psychic, huh?” He looked amused, lips twitching in to a boyish smile. He watched as she took his palm to read it and looked confused when she announced that he was missing something. “Missing what-?” His eyes then locked on the receipt in her hand before it was placed in to the ribbon of her hat. It only took him moments to recognize that was his receipt from earlier. The one with the phone number scribbled on to it.

When she told him he wouldn’t miss it since he had her he laughed quietly. "Is that so?" He locked eyes with hers, his hazel eyes playfully teasing. “Are you sure you want me to have you?” He took her fingers then, lacing them briefly with his, before flipping them over to reveal her palms. “Well, let’s just see what your palms have to say about this.” He leaned closer, tracing the lines etched on her palms as if he knew what he were doing. He hummed. “It says you’re a sneaky little pickpocket, but it’s okay because you’re cute so I’ll let you slide this time.”

"I hope you know we are late right?” Sling laughed sitting in the passenger seat of Fer's teal 1955 Ford pickup. Her feet were up against the dash, an arm hanging out the window as the wind blew her hair about. She kept it casual with loose dance pants, a brightly patterned bikini top, and a custom self cut black tshirt that jus taking a hung over her shoulders. "It wasn't all my fault ya know." Fer laughed glancing over seeing himself in the reflection of her heart sunglasses. "Yeah sure" she smiled shaking her head moving it to look back out her side of the window. The pair had a bit longer drive than most, but they also had a bad tendency to stop at random tourist traps. So they did try to leave early, but still ended up being late.

They had the music cranked as they drove. These last couple miles were rather quite otherwise. Each lost in their own little thoughts. It had been a long time it felt like that they were all in as close proximity for a very long time. This was going to be very interesting Fer thought. He laughed to himself, shaking off the idea that this was like a movie. Sometimes his brain worked in weird ways. But he knew this wasn't going to be one of those coming of age hook up movies, his friends didn't tend to swing that way with him. The most cuddling he was thinking he'd do would be with Sling, but that wasn't out of the ordinary when they were both lonely.

Sling started to nod off, he head against the back of the headrest. She was jolted awake by the soft attempt by her friend to wake her. No matter how hard you tried to be nice, she was always scared awake. She leaned forward looking up at the beach house though the front window over her sunglasses. "Welp, looks like everyone is here. Hopefully someone is still inside?" She said getting out, the door closed behind her with a big metallic thud. "Good to see too I'm still not the only one that prefers to drive a classic" Fer grinned getting out seeing Kyann's Corvette. "You men and your cars, are you sure you play for my team?" Sling joked, though she knew better than anyone that she'd be the only girl he'd ever kiss, and even then it was after a few drinks just for fun. "Oh I'm very sure we have the same taste in men" he laughed grabbing his bag out of the bed.

"Hello?!" She called as they walked in carefully opening the front door. "Sounds quite, yet they left the door open so they have to be close" Fer said almost shuffling her inside walking behind her. "They have definitely made their presence known" he observed seeing the gaming systems set up and further walking into the kitchen with a few stray food items and the faint smell of squished Apple. "I think some are outside" he said going further.

"Starting the party without us I see" sling joked walking out onto the deck her bag still slung over her shoulder, her hands on her hips.

Kyann grinned over his shoulder at Max when she explained to him how the cave was found. "That's pretty funny, kids and their rumors nowadays, eh?" He said, sucking in his cheeks slightly when he noticed the flirty tone in Max's voice. He couldn't say he did not enjoy her flirting- he did, very much, but he was so torn between the two girls who seemed to share his heart. One flirty, fun, wild and the other sweet, compassionate, and calm. It was as if they were unknowingly playing tug of war with his heart. He realized he may have been standing there in silence for more than a few seconds, so he shook his head and smiled coyly at the girl now beside him. "I'm not sure if I know what you mean?" Kyann would play dumb, it would be extremely fun to pretend to be oblivious, but he knew she could see right through that nonsense.

"Think the others will join so Max the Siren can lure them to their deaths?" He asked, fingers gently ghosting at her sides before going full attack mode and mercilessly tickling her. When he pulled back, he shoved his hands in his pockets, smirk playing across his lips. "Although you might be more like Medusa, hiss hiss." He did a horrible snake impression before taking a few more steps in the cave, ducking his head to avoid the stalagmites hanging from the ceiling.

Quinn could feel her face growing hot as he questioned her, trying to keep herself from flairing up into a fit of flustered gazes and flaming red cheeks. It was not an easy task to make Quinn lose her cool, and so with expert practice she calmed herself and played it off with a cocky little smile- one she learned from her brother for certain. "Well, your love line said something interesting, but I'm keeping that little tidbit to myself! So you'll never know until it happens for you!" She did read his love line, having seen a conflicting interest in his future, but unsure of what it could truly mean, seeing as readings were always so perfectly vague and mysterious, she figured she would merely tease him about it. Spacey peered up at him beyond the brim of her hat and batted her lashes. "I can't help it, you learn a lot from what a man will carry in his pockets."

When she heard Sling's voice she perked up, but made no move to take her palm back from Sage, grinning and waving with her free hand, back right foot kicking up in excitement so that she was only leaning on her left foot and more into Sage. "Hey Sling, Fer, Namaste my friends! I was missing you, I'm glad your drive was safe." She bit her bottom lip when looking back to Sage. Quinn let go of his hand before gently placing a thumb on his forehead, fingers atop his head in a sort of mind meld position. She closed her eyes and hummed softly, before removing her hand and opening those bright blue eyes of hers. "Oh, yes, this will be an interesting summer for you. Do not expect Kyann to be unapologetic and angry much longer. Be prepared for much to shift within you and him as well. Your friendship, while rocky at first, will be better soon. Do not fret any longer." A small smile pulled at the corner of her lips as she bowed her head. "The road will be long, but worth it."

"I'll have to whip out my tarot cards later, tell you a little more about what I see in your future." When Quinn predicted things about the future, she always had this far off gleam in her eyes, as if she was pulling the information from a distant galaxy, feeding her tales of her future. And the freakier part was, she was rarely ever wrong. "Just know to not distance yourself from those you care most for. And you could do without all of these." She tapped the receipt, still in her hat, though she was just teasing him, as could be seen by her playful smile. "Perhaps you could have me, but you'd have to borrow me from the universe."

Kat looked over at Jonah, thinking for a moment. "I think it's double a? I'll check soon. I promise," she said. "And you would run to the store for me? How sweet of you! If you want, I can go with, that way you're not lonely." She smiled up at him before turning to Natalia. "I'm cool with either one Nat. I do enjoy the ocean but exploring spooky caves can also be a lot of fun!" She giggled slightly before watching everyone's interactions. She then moved a few feet away from the group and took off her sandals to feel to warm sand against her bare feet. She sighed slightly and closed her eyes to enjoy the blanket of warmth from the sun. She felt peace flood within her and for a few moments, she was happy.

She turned around laughing slightly to rejoin the group after putting her sandals back on. "Hi Sling! Glad to know you guys made it! I was starting to worry," she said, stepping on to the deck again. "How was the trip for you two?" She smiled at the girl before waving at Fer. Remembering her keyboard, she slipped past Sling and moved to where it was sitting. "How are you doing, Fer?" she asked as she opened the battery case. After noting that it was double a, she closed it and placed it down before turning her attention to Fer.
