i'm usually really careful, but this time i messed up! ah well, these things happen! my brain is completely fried from work XD

I battled the boss 114 times. I doubt I won anything though ^^; I still did all the puzzles. I hope they bring back the one that had that second achievement. I didn't realize once you went forward you couldn't play it again DX

Yeah, I read about how tough your work was =( Is there any relief in sight? Like, talk about hiring some people to lighten the work load?

nope. we have no manager to hire people, and no one else outside the shop is stepping up to help out, one manager tried, but he still needs another manager to help out. so yeah... we are currently trying to run a shop open from 7am to 8pm each day with 1 supervisor and 5 part time staff members. it's impossible. and yet we are still open >< we've been lucky that so many people from other shops have been willing to come and work with us and help out, but there's only so long they can be expected to do that :S

there's no management at all XD and the higher ups, like the district and regional managers seem to just be ignoring the whole thing ><

yeah, don't ask me. i don't know any more. i just turn up for my shifts and hope the place hasn't fallen apart completely since the last time i was in. what i find hilarious is that they are spending money refurbishing out toilets and getting the shop painted, and yet...they won't hire any new staff to help us. XD

Do they just have too much money laying around? Because if so, I can imagine a cuple things they could be doing with it instead! Is the pay at least decent? Because if not, I'm pretty sure you could find a less stressful environment...

we are on a fraction over minimum wage in the UK. i'd get another job, but because of my health issues, it's hard to find someone who will hire me. which is why i've stuck the job out for 9 years, even though it's really not the best place for me to be working :S

I see. And without anyone properly supervising your work, it's rather unlikely you can get some sort of formal recommendation that might help you get hired elsewhere. That's a real bummer =( I hope your situation improves soon >_<

so do i. we're all at the end of our tether. it won't take much to tip us over the edge. luckily, for once, most of the customers have been decent, i think they can sense our stress level XD

Well, at least that's something ^^ I remember when I had a part time job at a local super market a few years back, and things would get really hectic on Christmas and New Year's Eve. I don't know if it was the spirit of the season or something, but people were really patient those days.

we usually find the complete opposite at xmas, people get grumpier and ruder the closer to xmas it is. last year, on boxing day. i dealt with several hundred customers and almost all of them were rude and mean. someone said thank you to me and i nearly burst into tears because it was the nicest thing a customer had said to me all day ><

Strange O.o I mean, I do get things get a lot busier around the holidays, but that's not a good reason to be grumpy _

hugs! That super sucks :(! Try not to let it stress you out. Go in, do your work to the best of your ability, and go home! This problem is not yours to worry about and the manager who realises how much they've screwed up by not hiring full time staff will have a seriously huge issue on their hands when the time comes and you can sit by and say "I told you so!" Hug!

yeah, i'm just doing what i can. there's only so much we can do, and at least no one can accuse us of not trying to keep the place running XD
