our dog was called Bailey before we adopted him, and i quite like the name, but my dad wasnt so sure about getting him (he wanted another small dog, but it was mum and my turn to choose since he chose the last 3!), so we let him pick the name, because he didn't like Bailey, since it was the name of a politician he didn't like XD but it's worked out well, because there's quite a lot of Bailey's in the area :P

sorry you cant take your dogs walks. i have times when i cant walk riley because of my health, luckily sometimes mum will take him out, then neighbours have even offered to walk him too, so that's good! they are great neighbours.

I've thought about trying to find a dogwalker, but I don't know if I would trust my dogs to a basic stranger. They do all right in the backyard.

yeah, i couldn't send riley to a dog walker, because even if we leave him with a friend on his leash, he chews through it to try and find us. gone through so many halters that way ><

I totally hate weekend TV O_O! I normally watch soaps during the week but ofc they all end at the weekend so I'm left with nothing XD! I normally end up binge watching nothing to declare or police interceptors haha!

I don't worry about that so much, as not knowing what the walker is like. Suppose he or she is mean to the dog when I can't see?

ah yes, that is always a worry. since they don't know your dog, and how they like to do things. the woman a few doors up from me is a dog walker, but she seems really responsible and kind about it. she's great with her own dog, and riley loves her because she always gives him a treat. but i've seen her do little things like, when she knows she'll be taking a dog in the car on a hot day, she leaves all the windows open for ages beforehand so that the car is nice and cool for them. obviously she never leaves them in the car when she goes out, she just uses it to take them places for walks. but i think it's nice she does that. i'd love to take riley exciting places for his walks, but he gets soooooo car sick it unbelievable! we've tried him in every seat but the drivers seat, the boot of the car, the floor, the seats, harnessed in so he doesn't rock about too much, in a basket to support him so he can lie down. nothing. even got sickness tablets from the vets to try, and though he didn't throw up, he still drooled like crazy (and he's not normally a drooler at all!). so it just seems mean taking him in the car unless i have to. he doesn't seem to be scared of the car, since he gets in just fine, and even looks a bit excited about it, but he just gets super sick.

That's a shame. I'm lucky, I've never had that problem with any of my dogs.

- I was just there to get blood drawn, and early morning + migraine = not really feeling comfortable with confrontation for me :(. I wish I had told them off! Your poor dad! I can definitely understand not wanting to have the band when you've watched your family member suffer!

When you're in the main forum bit of subeta and scroll down to the pink buns bit, if you click the name itself you'll see how many members we have and then theres the bank :) so you click the wee bank note symbol under it and then you can donate however much sP you want ^-^! Also you can send prizes for the contests, for example sent me a gift box with two more wonderful prizes for the competitions and just wrote "prize donation" on it :D that way I know to put it into the vault for prizes at a later date :3!!

I literally got up early today to play Gears of War with Achilles and then was all "yay we'll complete this tomorrow morn-" and realised I wont be home until like 6pm tomorrow XD!!!

Today has been a sad day!

My mum was telling people in her work that Im a microbiologist now. Which is true, but my legal job title is "laboratory technician". It's simply called this so there is room for progression and it means they can offer pay rises each year etc., but the job is that of a microbiologists. I'll be analysing raw and pasteurised milk products for bacterial presence, abundance, etc. But they said to my mum that I'm "just" a lab tech and it's nothing to be proud of ;-----; but I'm super proud and happy so I've been crying most of today sigh! I wish people weren't so negative about things that doesn't affect them. I wish I could ask for the job title to be changed :(

Screw them. "Just" a lab tech, my ass. How many of those twerps do you think could do the job you do? Not. One. hugs

They don't even know what a lab tech does :( I think they reckon I'll be washing glassware just :(! Theyre such asses :(! I hate how people feel the need to make others feel bad hugs
