As much as I love Mercy, 135+ hours of love, she has gotten something every event. They need to spread the love out a bit, I guess she's just an easy character to design for.

I love love love playing as Mei and Winston so I'm happy to see them getting some event love. I think it would be really cute if D.Vas mech looked like a snowglobe. Yeti Winston and snowball/ornament Zenyatta are pretty popular ideas I've seen.

Ooh I thought of ornament Zen but snowball actually makes more sense. Mercy is going to be a tree-topper angel (as opposed to her regular look, which is... also an angel.) (Also I will take more Mercy stuff because it motivates me to play her more and I want to be good at her but I feel you!) I'm really hoping Mei gets something good, as she's fallen into being my main, and she is also the Snow & ice character.

I think Mei will end up with a legendary skin this event, like you said she is the ice character, it's just the perfect opportunity for her. , do you have an idea on what'd you like to see her get for a skin? I thought Reinhardt with a Rudolph skin would but a cute nod, since he's supposed to lead the group, and the enemy Reinhardt has the red shield. Reindeer...Reinhardt pfft

Snow queen would be absolutely beautiful, here's to hoping for that. The Winter Solstice happens in late December so maybe they'll take inspiration from that. I'm really rooting for something beautiful for her tbh, hopefully not something like Jack Frost heh. I guess technically they can take it two routes, something festive or a summery outfit seeing as how she's literally always overdressed. I want to see the festive route though hehe

Ohhh!! I remember seeing that design before, I completely forgot about it but I am completely in love with it. If they did something like that I'd be totally sold haha. Did you see the Symmetra design that was inspired by it? I absolutely love that one too, I feel like there was another flowery skin concept that went along with these two but I can't recall.

I also just realized they made it so you can't level up super quickly after you prestige anymore :-( I was looking forward to the easy boxes during this holiday event

they did? OHNO. I'm at 294 right now and I was looking forward to easy boxes too.

I believe after you prestige it takes the normal 20k exp to level up now. I'm about 30 levels from my next prestige so I can't say from first hand experience but I do remember them mentioning it on the PTR and two friends recently prestieged and I noticed they're still around level 400 after a few games, rather than flying through the early levels )-:

I wonder if they did it because of everyone who kinda stopped playing when they were close to their next prestige and wanted easy loot boxes for the events. )-:

They did it because people were waiting until around level 99 etc and then just not playing at all until an event started. I think they also mentioned something about reducing the overall experience to level but I could be completely wrong. I'll try find patch notes or something. <:

im still kinda ehh about it all bc yes, people would take a break from playing after hitting lvl 100 but then when the event goes live people will play like twice as much to get as many lootboxes as they can get so ??

other than that i dont really mind that much w/ the arcade they added and the extra loot you can earn through there but! yeah

I'm so glad you said something because I was waiting to do exactly that. That's how I got all the Halloween items without spending a dime :D Thank goodness for the arcade boxes at least!

@ Isabella I'm excited for the new changes too, I didn't expect to see them as soon as we all did. When Jeff said soon I thought he meant the changes would go to the PTR in two weeks not two hours haha. Have you heard about when she's going live?

The easy loot boxes were nice, and it gave people a break to go and play another game if the loot boxes were that important to them. But I understand why they did it, it was pretty much an incentive to stop playing the game which isn't very good for business ha.

But yeah I agree, the arcade more than makes up for it. Three free boxes every week in exchange for the extra grind is fine by me. Now if I could just stop getting placed into the Super Shimada Bros brawl...

it was a really good way to go about it, I usually end up grinding really hard through the event and getting my promotion on like the second to last day. Now I just have to remember not to do any arcade games until the event goes live (-:

Hey u stop hitting me hit arrows that bend space and time; do I have a giant target on my back or something hehe ; ) Don't get me wrong I love both Genji and Hanzo but I can do neither of them justice. Super Shimada brothers consists of me as Genji doing that slash thing and then running and jumping until it's cool down is finished, rinse and repeat. Sometimes if I'm feeling ambitious I'll throw some shuriken, miss most of them and pretend it didn't happen heh

If they continue to do events in this pattern we should have a February event. So Cupid!Hanzo yes or no??
