Roadhog's skin is high octane nightmare fuel. XD; I'm still salty that Hanzo and Genji got nothing except sprays and voicelines this round, I was hoping for a punk Hanzo.

i do find it really odd that Genji and Hanzo didn't get skins either, considering the random smattering of other characters that did? but then again, it's Blizzard lol ¯(ツ)/¯

Now that the Year of the Rooster event is over, how did everyone fare?

I ended up having to buy D.Vas and picked one of Meis skins I bought Sombras victory pose too. I thought it was ending on the 13th so I bought it before I left for class, first lootbox I got later that night, with the event still going to my surprise, was the same pose :T. But overall I thought it was a really fun event

I did pretty well for myself! I got most of the skins I wanted, and then used a bunch of the credits I've had left over since the last event to get the red version of Mei's skin, as well as the highlight intros for Mercy and Tracer. And in my last loot box before the event ended, I managed to get the white Mei skin!

Didn't get any of the Journey to the West skins, but I don't really care because most of them creeped me out haha. Zenyatta and Roadhog are the stuff of nightmares. I am using Ana's Tal skin and that's enough nightmare fuel for me.

I had very little credits going in and the only things I desperately wanted were D.Va's skin and Mei's red skin, though the other one was also acceptable. I ended up buying boxes last minute just before the end and miraculously got D.Va's, which was top priority since I play her the most. It was like just before midnight on Monday and I audibly screamed, that was definitely $10 well-spent. I got that terrifying Roadhog skin twice, the Zen skin which is pretty neat, the Mercy skin which I also really like, the really pretty Widowmaker back tattoo spray, the Pharah fireworks spray, and the Sombra-with-sparklers pose.

...and of course like several thousand player icons.

All in all it was a pretty great haul, I'm super pleased!

Has anybody else had a really hard time getting the loot box for your first 1v1 arcade mode win? I tried a few times back when it first came out and got frustrated, so I ignored it for a while, but now that I'm over level 100 it's even harder for me to match against anybody I have even a slight chance of beating. I just lost 3 to 5 and it's the closest I've ever gotten. But it just makes me feel like I'm really bad at the game every time I lose. I wish I could just get rid of that stupid little loot box image next to the game type to I could just forget about it. :(

For the CNY event, I got everything except for two Pachi icons. XDD;; The one of Pachi in the hambok and the actual lantern with Pachi on it.

I've been playing PvP religiously for the past few days (if anyone's poking on my Tumblr, it's documented in there), I've gotten: McCree's chibi spray, D.Va's, Mei's and Zarya's, plus a handful of pixels of various characters. Most on accident. XD

I've been working on playing Genji for his sprays but I get within one kill of the chibi spray and either the 4th is gone to someone else or just plain gone. I had a Zarya on my team that was really good for helping out but they turned out to be young enough to be my child. Which made it all sorts of weird.

I really like the moon phases on Meis gun for her new skins, it was a really neat touch

I haven't played 1v1 or 3v3 recently since I kept running into groups who abused that Mei glitch. From what I can remember is take it a bit slower than you would in a 6v6. I remembered I played Winston super aggressively because it pretty much comes down to whoever gets the first hit with him will win. Are there any specific characters you notice giving you trouble? Theres a decent amount of people who main a character here who might be able to give a little hint

congrats on getting like everything lol, this event had a lot of good cosmetics and congrats on all the achievements! It's certainly a whole bunch, I think I was able to get that Genji spray before they nerfed him D: I'm 21 and I felt awkward when I thought I was playing with a senior in high school. I can't imagine how awkward it would be to play with someone who could barely be in the double digits?? Lol

Whenever I get on voice chat with randoms, they assume I'm a 12 year old boy. I'm 21. And female lol.

It's just one of those things where I freak out and choke under pressure. If it was first to 3 points, I probably wouldn't have so much trouble. Getting 5 wins in a 1v1 match seems impossible for me at my current skill level. :S I've been playing a lot of mystery heroes lately to try to improve my play with characters I don't generally use. So far I've learned I am hot trash with McCree, Genji, and Zenyatta.

I've gotten within one kill of each of Genji's spray since the nerf. It's like... uhg. Hold still.

[edit]Oh, yeah, and I just got Reaper's Cute spray because the enemy team clumped like a flock of idiots in Lijiang Tower. Like, yes, hello, DIE DIE DIE... DIE! XD; My friend who mains Reaper (and who hasn't gotten the spray yet) was in the game with me and she went quiet and went, "... You got the Cute spray, didn't you?"

I wasn't able to play Overwatch a ton during the event because of work, but I did grab some skins that I wanted! I got D.Va's which I was hoping to get, along with Symmetra's. Is it sad that I can't even remember what all I got? I know I got a couple more skins but I gotta double-check.

I really wanted Mei's skin, especially the red version. But I missed out on it :( I didn't have enough currency to purchase it either. OH WELL SUCH IS LIFE.

TBH I'm only level 65 xD But I've gotten back into it more again and I honestly just really want either of Hanzo's wolf skins and Genji's Nomad skin...among many other things lol.

I, for one, am immensely thankful that Efi is a story hero, not a playable one. x.x; I don't want to be facing up against an 11 year old character, thank.
