i was just wondering...once you've reached your 1000 unique items shop limit, do you stop moving more stuff from your old shop to the new one or can you keep going and the items over 1000 will be held in a kind of stasis until room becomes available for the transfer to complete...?

Thank you both for the comments. I'm glad things went well for you, ^-^ I haven't yet deleted my shops/galleries that had multiple items moved yesterday ...but I'm still a little concerned, as my new shops are still showing only 1 of each item 😟

I have no idea. I don't think you can fill more than what the shop can contain in unique items. If you're curious, try it out with a junk item.

I moved my things right when the announcement came in. I got all the message 4 hours before I came only. It has been a wait time of more than 7 hours I think. If you want to make sure, wait a little. Right now, no UA's answered, so we shall wait c:

2. after the 24th can people still "view" my old shop?

1. Yes. However, it won't work on the 24th.
2. I assume that yes. You simply won't be able to have sales/autoprice/add items to your legacy shop. A lot of people will keep their galleries as they are, especially with the limit.

I withdrew my old shop profits without having made a new shop; now I no longer have anything in my old shop till and so no 'transfer till' message shows up. I guess this means I am losing my work towards the achievement :(

If that's the case, then yeah. Sorry about that. But you can always start over with a new shop, although your progress towards the Make a Living achievement should still continue adding new shop sales to your old total.

I am so worried right now. I still only have one of each item that transfered to my new shops/galleries. It has been nearly 24 hours and not one duplicate has come over yet 😟

This guide has really helped a lot! I'm not clear on the vaults, though. Are they also being deleted? I moved everything to a shop, but some of the posts here sound like they aren't going away. I was working on the hoarder achievement, so I have tons of stuff. I need all the space I can get!

Has anyone read or seen what/when the ETA for more galleries and shops will be?

I'm personally wanting to be able to have two more galleries. I mean in the beginning I forked over the sP so I could have 5 galleries and 1 shop, we should have the option to keep it the way it was. IMO.

I'm just extra worried because I already deleted my old shop the items were being transferred from. That was silly of me I guess. Wasn't thinking straight.

I transferred from my old shops to a new one around 8.30 a.m. on the 17th, still waiting for the duplicates to show up. I was very cautious and had only 2 items with a duplicate of each out of 117 items transferred. It seemed to go well so I transferred from my other shop to the new one but I didn't check on doubles - though I know there were a few extras of stuff from the underground fishing. I haven't yet deleted the old shops.

So I have now nervously transferred two stacks of cheap items from an old gallery to a new one, about 5 hours ago.

It doesn't seem that silly to me, as it clearly says "There is nothing in your shop!" once we move our stuffs. It should be safe to delete. I am hoping our stuff is safe in a queue somewhere that just needs a 'push' to go through. But, yeah, a bit worried :S Wishing you best of luck too!

I hope your stuff is safe, and we are just in a very loong queue. But I find it quite comforting to hear of others who haven't got their stuff yet, we must all be in the same waiting line and I expect they have contingency plans just in case.

Edit: my ticket was responded to. "...your items are safe in the queue, and they will show up when they have been processed." The admin said she does not have any information as to why some peoples' items are getting through the queue faster than others, though.
