I have a question, how do you change the type of shop you have? For example, I have a gallery and I want to change it to a shop to sell things. I looked at the FAQ and I didn't see (as far as I know) the steps to do that in the new system.

This is a late reply, but unfortunately it is not possible on the new system to change a shop to a gallery and vice versa directly. Shops and Galleries are coded to be separate things with the current system. So if you want to change it, you would have to remove all of the items from the shop or gallery, then delete the shop or gallery, then create a new shop or gallery and move all of your items back in (and be sure to select whether you want it to be a shop or gallery when you create it).
If you have extra space to create a new shop or gallery first, then you could do that and move all of your items over directly from your old shop or gallery to the new one, then delete the old one after you do that. Without a GA you can have up to 4 shops or galleries total, and with a GA you can have up to 6.

How can I tell the difference between a new shop and a legacy shop? I don't see any indicators on the "your shops" page. Are the icons different? I am also trying to create a new shop but I do not see the option on the "your shops" page either.
Thanks for the heads up about the shops but silly question how do you know if your shop is a old shop or new shop?

Isss it safe to assume that if my shop list doesn't have a ! with a triangle I'm good? OwO;;

If none of your shops have the triangle with ! in it next to the name, then they are not legacy shops. Keep in mind that the new shop system was created nearly 6 years ago, so it was not a recent change. It's entirely possible to have an old account without legacy shops currently because you likely converted them already at the time of the change and just don't remember doing so because it was a while ago.
If your account was created after about April/May 2016, it's not possible for you to ever have had a legacy shop because the old system had been discontinued by then.
