omgosh congrats on your giant crop! I have been hoping for one, but no luck yet! What happens when you harvest it!?!

I love the new updated version, it's actually so fun to start over again from new, I chose the forest map for my farm and so far I love it! I love being able to build on grass and move buildings later, because i always seem to choose a stupid place for my coop etc lol.

You have to hit it with an axe a few times, and it breaks down into several regular crops. I think I got about 20 cauli from this one. Don't know if that's fixed for all giant crops, or if the amount is a bit random. Good luck on getting one! >w<

The building moving is AMAZING. <3 I thought we'd have to cough up some more gold and materials to do it, and wait a bit for them to be rebuilt. But no! Just pick up and put down, and done! :D

I love the look of some of the new maps, but I don't think I could use them. I like my spaaaace! xD

I am the opposite, I dislike having all the space, because then I feel the pressure to fill it with crops or the stress of trying to make my farm look nice. This way there's less to worry about, haha ^_^;

I do miss playing on my old save file though! You become so attached to your farm and pets/animals, heck even your crops!

I just bought Stardew Valley 2 days ago and I've played 10 hours since then. I am addicted. But my farm looks like crap right now because I'm focusing on romancing Shane (though I am growing like 30 hot pepper plants just for him).
