I don't know how to take a picture of my farm, unfortunately, but I absolutely adore Stardew Valley. When I was travelling New Zealand with my Mum earlier this year, it was a lifesaver, because 99% of the time, I was out of range of the internet. I think I've probably got over 150 hours in the game now.
I've unlocked the entire community centre and I've married Alex. I currently have a toddler and a dog, but I'm hoping for the second child soon. I don't know what my next goal in the game is going to be, because right now I'm just waiting for two random events: void egg and second child. I'm thinking about finishing the skull caverns and building a slime hutch.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me? What should I focus on next?

looking for discounted:
Buuuuuuh..... if this laptop could run it, I'd be playing it nonstop. Miss the hell out of that game.
I've gotta remember how to fullscreen my farm for pics. I got a bit distracted but I was one of those people who has been waiting with baited breath for it to come out (for ages) so it's always really exciting to see more people enjoying it (seriously it exploded on launch and that's just awesome)
I'm at the very beginning of spring in year 3 and I still can't manage to actually sit down and plan everything out and make it look all pretty. :P
I am so addicted to this game. >w< I used to play Harvest Moon FoMT A LOT on the GBA, so discovering SDV has been wonderful. And I like this one so much more.
I'm in the middle of making some pretty big changes, hence the two coops and two barns. xD I wish you could just move them. It's a pain having to start them over.
No pics of my farm, but it's great to see other people on Subeta who are loving this game as much as I am. All the animals are supremely adorable, and I adore the dimension the characters have in comparison to many Harvest Moon games. Sebastian is my darling, 100.
= I have been wondering what that giant purple rock is amongst your trees?? It looks like amethyst?
I love Stardew Valley and play so often, it's addicting. I don't think my farm is very pretty... It is so unorganised, but I kinda like it like that ^^
my farm
I just recently got the game and I would love some tips.
I just entered Summer of Year 2. I only just recently reached the 40th level of the cave and I am just horrible at the battle stuff. About half way through Winter is when I found out about the Traveling Cart so I feel like I missed out on a lot. And my farm is a mess. :(
Can you move buildings? I think during the upcoming Winter I'll want to completely rearrange everything if it's possible.
Also how do you get pictures of your farm like that?
The purple rock is a meteor, it's a random event to happen at night and you need a high level pickaxe to remove it. I got one my second summer and it destroyed a section of my crops :(
= dont worry so much if you missed something, the good thing about this game is that there will always be another chance to get it again. In the beginning it can feel like there is so much to do, but you really can just take your time and go at your own speed, do the things you enjoy and worry about other stuff later! It's all up to you. You can't move buildings yet, I heard that that ability will be in the next update!
Definitely check out the wiki http://stardewvalleywiki.com/Stardew_Valley_Wiki for lots of help and tips.
= I got my first meteor the other day (luckily it landed in empty space!), and I tried using my pickaxe on it and it was destroyed. Then I was kinda sad. What if an alien eventually comes out of it?!
- no aliens yet but I know theres ore inside. Now if only I could get a witch over my chicken coop! I want a nightmare chicken so bad.
- Nightmare chickens?!?! Wait, is that the same as the Void chickens? I remember having the witch come once and I do have void chickens now...
Huge fan of this game, glad that other people are as well! I also love the relaxing background music, always puts me in a good mood :) Also, no screenshot from me yet, but in the future, I shall provide one.

For those that haven't gotten the answer yet, in order to get nice full shots of your farm easy-peasy, we use a site called 'upload farm' Click HERE to check it out. I need to repost mine actually cause my last screenie was in early Y6 and I'm in Y7 now lol.
Update 1.1 launches soon, are folks hyped?
i keep eyeing this game... i absolutely love rf4 and hm. i'm currently playing the new hm game too. SIGH.
i didn't really care for any of the marriage candidates though. do their personalities change as the game goes on?
depending on if you keep them happy and what current level of friendship you have them at, many villagers change attitude. At this point I'd wait for 1.1 since Shane and Emily are joining the marriage candidate pool.
As for me, I went Sebastian as he reminds me well enough of my current SO lol.
I am LOVING the update! Got me right back into playing. Moving buildings around? OH HELL YES. <3 I didn't expect it to be so easy, or free to do!
I've been making some changes to accommodate new features, so here's my new layout.
The untiled spaces between the scarecrows are supposed to be Junimo Huts. They don't show up on the site yet, it seems. ^^; I'm going to put the Slime Hutch above the lake, and leave some space empty to grow grass for animal feed.
I started playing again with the update as well! Married Emily this time. 3rd year already and i'm only just now starting to move buildings around and make things look nice :P
Baking = Level 1 (25%)
After 166 hours, I finally got my first giant crop! :D
Almost done with the layout. I'm probably not making the most of the available space, but I don't care much about how to make money fast. ^-^ It's more fun making a layout I like, and I do well enough with this setup. <3
It'd be nice to see some more paving options added.
