Honestly, I have been experiencing more lag in the past month alone than I have for maybe 6 months total. I said from the start that though the shops might be a huge drain, it is far from the only problem that needs dealing with, so I never entertained any thoughts of the new shops magically fixing everything, at least right away, as said that there is essentially less clutter to wade through trying to find and fix all the issues that need attention.

Then you have some users that refuse to budge on this issue, at least for their galleries/hoards. What can be done to fix that, as well as those reluctant to switch to the new system? I honestly think that they should be deleted within, say, a year. The item limits for the new system keep getting higher and higher, especially for galleries. While I was initially opposed to this idea because of the initial starting amount and because the economy did nose-dive for many items as users tried to sell them off for extremely cheap, as well as there was no way in the beginning to easily transfer over items from the legacy shop to the new ones.

Anyways, that's just my two cents. While users may leave the site if you delete the old system entirely, you probably would have given them a long time to finish moving them over. Otherwise, what incentive is there for the hoarders/gallery owners, even with the achievements retired, to switch everything into a different place, re-label, etc. to go along with the change?

Well, okay, but other staff members have been less clear on this point. In this post for example, Ariel stated "the coding/stress of the existing shops can't continue to exist (it's causing the 502/504 errors," -- not that they were "partially responsible", or "contributing", but causing the errors.

The misconception you're trying to clear up isn't entirely the users' fault.

That, I seriously doubt.

Just got a constant 502 error that made me lose time on my last wizard quest... Wow... 😔

More errors than usual, while doing battle quest they tried to stop me more than three times. Most errors are pretty short as usual, but one was like 10 minutes.

Your work is appreciated though, it must be tough to change a major factor of the site while keeping the rest intact, exp. empty shop search results.

Just finished all my quests (minus battle quests). I didn't get any errors and even with my crappy wifi, I found the site wasn't laggy at all. I really appreciate the work that's been done and how transparent the staff has been about trying to improve the site functionality.

I had a couple of 5xx errors yesterday while questing, but the longest one was only about 2 minutes. The site has been much faster for me since the new shops went live, and I've definitely noticed that I've gotten a lot fewer errors overall.

These particular two appeard between tread page numbers and the first post. But I see simmilar ones in the posts of users on this tread.

The lag is really horrible. Currently, what I am experiencing are white pages while refreshing (excluding) my sidebar.

When I bought 4 items in the Cash Shop from the themed section I got this error:

I did receive the items and the correct amount of CSC is abstracted from the total. At least the important things went well :)

I'm having trouble getting pages to stop spinning, it's taking as long as 7-10mins to get a shop search to show up, or my vault to load, or a quest/finish page to register... BAH how frustrating!

And I definitely understand that this is as frustrating for you (probably more so) since this is, ya know, your job! We can walk away and do something else since it's just a game to us. Yup, still getting lag and errors randomly.

Lots of difficulty loading pages tonight. No official errors, but just pages endlessly loading and hovers not loading at all.
