Is it just my computer or is the site quite slow tonight?
RIP Mom, I love & miss you more than you know. Tell Dede hi.

Yeah it was definitely slow, and then it crashed.

Here's hoping that it's done and over with.

Also lagging horribly. No crashes so far, which is surprising but then we are only 800 online atm, but it takes ages to do anything. It's a pain doing quests. Guess too many people moving around the shops?
[edit] The site is awful this Wednesday... lag and 502 haunting every step.

The lag is horrible right now. Can't get the wardrobe to work right, I changed my HA and some of the things I made changes too haven't changed yet. I added a couple of things to my wardrobe and I can't find them anywhere.
Some lag but also no preview... seems to come and go with the preview issue, why is that?

This is new.

</p>This is obnoxious π‘
All of a sudden I'm having to refresh pages two to five times just to have something - anything - appear on screen. I'm just experiencing a string of blank white pages everywhere I click. Forums, Quests, Shop Search...every page.
And the comments on this thread are hanging for a very long time without resolving.
This started about twenty minutes ago.
Edit: But while searching Item Locator for King Cake, I see this: 1 found in your legacy shop Is this a result of changing old shops to legacy, maybe? Also, it's not 11:59 tonight, this change seems early.
Having lots of problems trying to access the site every.
Errors: The subeta.net page isnβt working
subeta.net is currently unable to handle this request. 500
I'm getting broken pages and IMMENSE amounts of lag.

Every other page will not load. I am getting the same error as above: "The subeta.net page isnβt working
subeta.net is currently unable to handle this request. 500"
I'm so glad that taking away our beloved shops and galleries (despite almost unanimous backlash) fixed everything! :(
It's lagging for me too. Probably be like this all weekend.
We use something called composer to manage our third party scripts and this morning our installation across our web servers was acting up due to an old configuration setting we'd set :( We've repaired it (and changed our configuration to the most up to date) so that shouldn't happen again.
Otherwise we pushed some really big server changes the other day that should make the site move a little faster with hopefully less 5xx errors until we can get the new shops pushed out. This includes a new "proxy" between Subeta and our database that does some really clever connection stuff, but also lets us see all of the really bad queries on the site in a way we haven't been able to visualize in the past. Unsurprisingly all of the worst queries are connected to user shops, but there are some other ones that we didn't anticipate!

uh oh, don't like the sound of that...'other ones'? gulp
Yup π
Yeah, I kinda figured that shops weren't the only issue. Might be the biggest, but not the only. Hopefully once the shops are sorted out, the errors won't happen as frequently. I hope so because Vesnali is around the corner.
[edit] Whoops, things seem to be fine now. Weird, since the site was doing that straight up to this post.

Just some older pieces of the site we don't think about very often. The donation center is an example of this haha

I am still experiencing lag ~ :( ~
[br clear=all]
Please make the lag stop. It's taking so long for pages to load. I wish I had had time to quest and do stuff this morning before the errors and now the lag.
