Went to a butterfly greenhouse place recently, and it was amazing! Especially loved the blue morphos.

Well, some birds take shelter in the back of my house every rainstorm, I guess that count
i've seen a few hummingbirds, but mostly the squirrels and birds that hang out on my deck eating from a bird feeder
Lots of birds and rabbits near me but often I see deer just walking along the road near my apartments. They are everywhere here even in the city because of how much space is between everything (we have a lot of open fields) we even have pronghorns living not even five minutes outside of the city outskirts near the farms
I saw a hedgehog in the park a few weeks back. We found some kitties in said park and we went regularly to feed them and give them water. One evening, after a very hot day, this smallish hedgehog approached us and the kitties. We thought he was hungry. He was thirsty! Very thirsty! he drank water for like 2 minutes if not more. I dont know how he realized there would be fresh water, but he was lucky there was.
I really have to update my blog ObscureJourney and my review site BeingObscure. French speakers can read my reviews here.
There's been some wild parrots showing up at my feeders lately. I like to watch them from indoors but haven't been able to get a good pic.

I moved recently. Same city, but now I'm closer to the river and it's soooo nice for wildlife, especially birds!
LOTS of swans on the river. They're attraced to all the boats that have been coming down this way over the summer. Lots of people feeding them. One day I saw close to 30!
Greylag geese, with goslings. Also had a flock of them fly by my kitchen window early one morning.
A lone cormorant.
Moorhens with chicks. Fuzzy little sootballs!
Magpies, Eurasian jays, blackbirds, jackdaws, pied wagtails, wood pigeons (three days in a row I spotted a pair of wood pigeons on a roof outside my kitchen window. Mating). A lot of gulls lately too.
Swifts. They seem to have moved on now, but I've been seeing them a lot over the last few weeks. Skylight windows make for a great view of them.
A squirrel perched on the same rooftop where the wood pigeons liked hanging out. In the wind and rain. And a second squirrel running off with a walnut.
And my favourite from just a few days ago, I spotted a goldfinch nest with three babies looking ready to leave the nest. Cute!
There is also a peregrine nest site with a webcam not far from me. Haven't seen the birds recently, but yesterday I heard one calling. Couldn't catch sight of it though.
Saw a beaver last month as well as some young deer at a small riverside park area. Managed to get a few pictures and a video of the beaver dragging a branch into the river. It was actually pretty cool.

All we really get for wildlife is Squirrels :/

Wow, you get a lot of amazing wildlife!
Here in swampy Florida, lately I've seen:
<3 Green and brown anoles (tiny lizards!) <3 Mediterranean house geckos (night-time tiny lizards!) <3 Blue-tailed skinks (fancy lizards!) <3 Banded water snakes <3 Green tree frogs <3 Cooper's Hawks <3 White-tailed deer
Hi there, I'm Maple! ^w^ Come on over to my Twitter to see my (SFW) artwork!
Baby dragon pixel art by AlviaAlcedo on DeviantArt!
Squirrels and rabbits are common around here, but I saw a squirrel eating a nut on my sidewalk the day before yesterday and a rabbit in my front yard near some bushes. I also see a lot of bunnies in my backyard, enjoying the quiet and the tall grass. I don't mow my backyard, and HOA can suck it. Wildlife > mowed grass bullshit.
Saw a bald eagle fly overhead day before yesterday. It was awe-inspiring. I completely forgot how big they can get.
We have a security camera system and we often pick up cats, possums and racoons. BUT! It's been picking up a really big rabbit lately and I'm thinking there are babies hidden somewhere in our back yard but I'm not really sure where. Exciting!

In my garden I've seen: goldfinches a hummingbird a chipmunk squirrels a rabbit bumblebees several butterflies including monarch and some kind of swallowtail cicadas
Elsewhere around town recently I've seen a few deer, a couple groundhogs, a racoon, an opossum, toads, a tree frog, leopard frogs, red-tailed hawks, a tiny raptor that may have been a merlin?, cardinals, robins, Canada geese, mallards, white egrets, great blue herons, a couple snapping turtles, several painted turtles (including a great big one that was trying to cross a road, so I ran out and moved it to the other side). A couple years ago I saw a wild river otter!

Squirrels have been digging holes in my garden box and the planters on my porch all summer, but I can never catch them in the act. They love to sit on the fence and taunt my cats, though.
