As I'm in Canada, we just got Pokemon Go this afternoon, and thankfully my friend already had it so she was able to explain as we walked around and caught a few Pokemon.

I'm really excited to go out and catch more and see what else is out there! I've decided to join the, apparently least popular, Team Instinct because Zapdos is my favourite of the three birds and Spark seems like a cool dude, haha!

Choosing the favorite of the three legendary birds was my way to decideXD

It's a good way to go imho n.n

Hahaha! I know some people have a strategy to it and all that but I'm like, 'the yellow guy is cool, and Zapdos ftw.'

And thanks! I walk dogs for my job, so hopefully I'll be able to find some good stuff tomorrow without getting too into it and draining my battery/running into a tree. I have a provincial park near my house though, so I'm going to go and explore there and see if there's some good Pokemon there!

Zapdos is definitely why I picked the yellow team. I just got to level 15 tonight, so I am happy about that. up to 63 caught 64 seen.

pokemon go was released in finland only a couple of days ago, and since i live in a small town, there's not much happening here apart from an infestation of rattatas and drowsees :') Finns are typically the worst people at talking to strangers, but on the first night after the release, me and my friends found ourselves wandering around the town cemetery along with several groups of other people in their twenties, and every time someone spotted anything, they'd let every other group know.

I got a food poisoning yesterday so I couldn't join my partner when she ventured out, but an hour or two later, she came back with a cat. She had followed her home, and now we're tending to a lost, malnourished cat who is obviously used to humans, and seems to be the most content little lady after getting some food in her belly, mites off her fur, and some attention, and now we're just waiting for someone to contact us about her. Let's just say that so far, Pokemon Go has been an experience.

The capital was full of far more variant pokemon, but the game is still so buggy that every time you caught anything from a Pidgey to a Lapras, the app would just crash, so night time seems to be the only time it works here at least for now.

My childhood dreams have come true though and I have my very own squirtle, what more could I ask for?

I want a dog. It will be a cute little dog and I shall name it Cujo O.O'

Walking dogs is a good excuse to get out and about =D

Playing the game does make me feel like a real world Pokemon Trainer =D

I didn't have my own handheld so I don't have childhood nostalgia about the series, but it is still really coolXD

Now if weather clears up I can actually play Pokemon Go today >.>

I cannot wait to start playing. To have an excuse to be a little more social and go outside... lol I needed a push. I do however need to upgrade my phone first because my current one doesn't support the app.

I'm enjoying this game so far, although I have to travel to different places because there's only 3 Pokestops near where I live. Thankfully, 2 of the are at the park and there's also a gym there. It's a good thing I found a powerbank that was only £10. I want to go out a lot more now, but it's too hot to stay out for long L_L

Today I was Evolving some pokemon with a Lucky Egg going on. I was evoling about 6 pokemon and when i got to my last one which was a Growlithe, evolving him.... got a 707 Arcanine... click the check mark... and when to my pokemon... no Arcanine... my lucky egg was unlucky ...

that is very weird

Aww its true. I was there when PGO ate his Arcanine.

Then to add insult to injury i evolved my Growlithe next and got an 876 cp Arcanine. xD

I am in Canada and can say I've never played any of the pokemon games before. Having said that I am having a complete blast with the app! My bestie plays also(we are on opposing teams, her Valor and me Mystic) but we are so enjoying the hunt! Went out a lot today, plan to go out a bunch Saturday night, sunday and monday!

Made my best catch today a CP606 Hypno. Very stoked about it!

I think I'm leveling too fast D: I'm mid level 10 right now and my highest CP pokemon is just under 600. I think it's also partially because I don't live around anything significant so my main options are usually just bug, grass, and normal pokemon :c Boo.

I live in Florida and the heat is killer. I tend to stick around my neighborhood and take a bottle of water with me. I end up splashing some of the water on me to keep me at least a little bit coolXD

Doing Pokemon Go journal entries and HERE is the latest one :)

Tonight I went out for an hour to play, for the first time since the inital release, and I really enjoyed it. Caught 20 pokémon and got one egg and like 50 pokéballs, I'm really surprised by how many pokéstops there are. In our little village we even have two monuments that are pokéstops, it's really crazy to me. Though I only caught one near our church, the real loot was in a city nearby.

I was out at 9 pm and it's just crazy how you see some young adults around every corner. On my way to a pokéstop I saw literally four seperate people heading there. I can't imagine how it must be like in major cities in the US or even Japan.

But to my surprise I think I made my best caught so far at my own house. A Staryu was just chilling by a lake nearby.

I'm halfway to level 5 and I just want to join a team finally. ;-; I'll definitely join Team Instinct. I wish I could change my trainer from the red outfit into the yellow one, I prefer that one much more now.

Also, I just wanted to say that I got the app literally the day it came out and my usual username was already taken. ;-;

Hows everyone's adventure going? I'ts SO HOT where I live right now, I can only go out for a short while. I feel like im falling behind in the level game because of the heat. ;~;

I have gone out on my days off to catch pokemon minus Friday because I was scared of heat stroke. It was so wicked hot here! I've been wearing a hat and putting on sunscreen and taking lots of water with me. Caught 4 new pokemon today and leveled some up so my pokedex is now upto 61 caught, 62 seen. Highest level pokemon for me is a Rhyhorn at 879 and i am level 15.

Due to weather conditions (and my mini-vacations and needing to make up for lost time) I haven't been able to play for around a month and it's killing meXD

Have been continuing to play both Pokemon HeartGold and White Version 2, though.
