that's a confusing way to do it though! then you have your group of masks from that store and a handful of other masks. I know there's a list on lodge, but there will always be threads that pop up "is my mask a good mask or a lame mask?"

i don't think it's confusing. if you were invited to a real life high society masquerade party, they wouldn't let you in in that skull mask. ;)

Any explanation yet as to why some people are getting an error telling them they don't have a mask on but they do and were actually able to dance before with the mask but now can't? :/ I had a handful of dances before the error started popping up

I don't have any experience in real life masquerade events. is high society enough? that one counts, it reminds me more of Bane from Batman than it does high class.

I agree with this, if only for consistency's sake - it just makes sense to have all masks counted for masquerade. I imagine it'd cut down on a lot of confusion re: 'why doesn't this mask work??' too.

I think you have a different perspective of it because you're actually doing the releasing of the masks and you have a good idea of where everything comes from and when it came out. there was a thread here a few days ago. if you just joined the site three weeks ago and you go to dance but get an error, then you shop search the word mask and buy something, then proceed to still get an error, you'd be confused. I'm perfectly fine layering one behind my base that I wouldn't normally wear (though I think you did change mine, and I thank you :)), I'm just trying to explain why this may be confusing.

haha glad we can agree about that! I don't actually care much one way or another, I can get around whatever obstacle is there, but I try to think about what gives other users problems and how things can be made easier. I hate to say maybe masquerade masks need their own rarity, but at least that would distinguish them from other normal masks.

Okay, thanks. Apparently I just had a mask on that didn't work. But when I changed masks my entire HA disappeared? Is this a known error?

Gonna echo Kbbob and wish that all masks were included in this event. The one I'm currently wearing is a battle opponent drop but it doesn't work. I was shocked to see the error message a few minutes ago, I specifically built this HA with a mask attached for masquerade. I'm not a new user but I still get confused over what masks are and aren't allowed.

I had no problem with only "masquerade" masks working for the event but simply asked why mine quit working when it IS a Migrating Mask item.

Had mask, have mask, it shows, can't dance 'cos I'm not wearing a mask and danced 10 min ago with the same mask...what?!

I was able to dance and now I can't? I haven't changed my mask avatar aside from trying to put it on and take it off again. I'm pretty sure it's masquerade approved - I remember buying the red version from Migrating Masks.
